Singapore has done an amazing job with the Gardens by the Bay. There are plenty of free, open green spaces and the fee-for-entry conservatories are spectacular (and reasonably priced for the effort that must go into maintaining all the flora). At night, the place comes alive with illuminations. I'd consider this a must-visit for anyone.
It is a giant garden in big city like Singapore.... I love it as a place where I can see the natural/tranquility from the city vibe... If you want just 5 minutes, you already reached the city area and marina bay sands... The place always full of tourist as it is main attraction in Singapore, the night and laser show at night as spectacular and vibrant :)
I recommend to come during the cloudy day and blue sky, or if you prefer night light it is better to come during nighttime and enjoy the laser show.
It is one of my favorite places to comedown near city area and also place to bring friends/family during their visit to Singapore :)
One of the best places that u can visit in singapore. Get in early before the light and sound show ,finish the domes ,and end ur day with the spectacular show. Reach early to show and carve out a nice place for the view.
A must see for everyone that visits Singapore. I especially loved the light show. It s every day at 7:45pm and 8:45pm. It s totally free. I recommend going up the OCBC Skyway for S$8.
Beautiful and expansive, one of the must see gems of Singapore. Cloud Forest and Flower Dome are obviously highlights that everyone makes a bee-line for but if you have time, I recommend take you time strolling through the rest of the gardens, especially around the lake. Very tranquil and scenic....and away from the crowds.
Absolutely lovely to spend time in the indoor gardens.everyone loves gardens in the family plus air conditioned and covered gardens of course yay! My toddler loved to walk around and was intrigued to see the variety of flowers and plants. Flower dome has pretty flowers year around and they keep changing them through the year I have seen beautiful tulips season and rose gardens. Cloud forest was mind blowing when I first saw. I was awestruck by the sheer designing and engineering of the indoor waterfall. Do remember to note the misting times, as it s quite magical to be at the top of cloud forest when the misting starts. The light and music show at super tree grove was a fun watch. After all the walking we love to binge at mcd but I also saw a couple of restaurants lined up around the gardens. Overall a day of relaxing fun.
The bubble lights interactive display and the tranquility of the garden stroll in the middle of the night, the night breeze made this a truly great place of Singapore City in a Garden concept. Plus it is all free. Not all good stuffs in life comes at a price. For Singapore, this place is really comfortable
Wow what an out of this world light show with the supertree experience. A must see for anyone visiting Singapore. Overall a beautiful park and experience. Definitely recommend and we will return in the future.
Wonderful place to go to view the plants and flowers. 2 shows are held every night with lights and sound display. You can enjoy this outdoor event for free!!
Singapore is filled with Incredible architectural seats and the gardens by the Bay are absolutely included in that list. Free access to such a beautiful place Wis orchids everywhere and incredible sights, you can't miss it even if you only have one day in the city. Walking into the cool Misty rainforest where is the world's tallest waterfall drops in your face is a sight to behold.
Experience of a lifetime. It a marvel of engineering feat.It poses one of the must & most visited spots in Singapore. Entry is free. But its best to reach there by 7 pm,in order to experience the Light Show which occurs daily. Its an out of the world experience,as if the whole are just bursts into life.
Gardens by the bay is one if the great attraction in singapore. Which has sections like "Flower Dome" & "Cloud Forest" to see the different plants and flowers from different countries in different continents. well planned vertically and horizontally gardening of plants along with nice architecture of the building gives more attraction and beautiful landscapes within the flower dome.
One of the best things done by singapore people which helps people to learn and entertain a lot about nature and environment.
The planet reimagined and made flesh. A remarkable glimpse of a possible future meld of man and nature. A little sterile and pragmatic but masterful in execution. Bring a credit card!
Nice Gardens, easily accessible with strawler and wheelchair. More commercial in set-up than the botanic gardens, more suited for a quick visit. Various restaurants are available and a light show in the early evening. Pay attention to the odours of the plants as well!
It's one of the most beautiful man made natural places I have visited. You have flowers plants various various flora and fauna. evening lighting is amazing.
I miss the beauty of Gardens by the Bay with a crowd. Soon it will happen, for now if you have time you can still enjoy this view with less people around.
S$28 per person allows you to visit both The Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. S$3 per person for the shuttle service if one does not want to walk. One can get a feel of a "clean and green" experience which is breath of fresh air while around the city.
Amazing place to walk around both during the day or the night. Recommend going up into the walkway both during the day and the night to see the views. Lights show running daily at night is quite entertaining. Good food court close to the trees has reasonably priced food.
Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is definitely worth the trip if you are there fir holidays. Bring your young children. They will have fun walking, running and playing at the children s garden. Lots to see and do. Nearby you have the Marina Bay shopping complex. Easy to get there, just take the MRT and get off at Bayfront MRT.
The best place in Singapore with a huge park inside. Many activities that you can do such as jogging in the evening, enjoying light and water show, visit flower thematic dome that a must-visited-place for you who love to capture variated flowers and so on.
Beautiful shows and lovely climate I wish for in Singapore. A tad disappointed with the main circle Scandinavian show this year. All the same decor for trees yet the write-up online looked fantastic and made me excited to visit.
I didn't think I'd be that impressed but I loved walking around gardens by the bay. I went back to visit it at night and during the light display - it was INCREDIBLE. Every time you looked at it you saw something new from a different angle. I left feeling creatively inspired. I even fell asleep while gazing up at the trees - it was wonderful
A must see! It's right beside the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and a true spectacle. They've created "Super Trees" to show how plant life can be given space to thrive where space is limited and they're huge! Everywhere you look there's something that might inspire or help you feel good. The Cloud Forest is amazing to descend into, they've literally created a mountain that provides the best micro climate for plant species that thrive at altitude. Then there's the Flower Dome with areas devoted to specific regions around the world full of beautiful plants to relax beside. Set aside a whole day for this one!
Just awesome... The light show e ceeded expectations with an amazing visual display... Co ordinated with a beautiful selection of classic songs. Remember there are only shows at 7.45 and 8.45 pm.. So get there early to enjoy the free show
This is a wonderfully beautiful place. I didn t even go into the paid exhibits because we only had a couple hours. But all of the outside gardens were gorgeous and since it was hot and humid out, we took a couple breaks in the shade. I would have loved to have come back at night when all of the lights were on because I can imagine how lovely they would be then.
Great place to travel - Singapore #theexpat The Gardens by the Bay is a nature park spanning 101 hectares (250 acres) in the Central Region of Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden (in Marina South), Bay East Garden (in Marina East) and Bay Central Garden (in Downtown Core and Kallang). The largest of the gardens is the Bay South Garden at 54 hectares (130 acres) designed by Grant Associates. Its Flower Dome is the largest glass greenhouse in the world.
Awesome place to visit, bring the whole family as there's something for everyone. Parking is quite reasonably priced. You can park here and walk to Marina Bay Sands to shop after taking tonnes of pictures of this beautiful garden.
What a unique experience, this place is Worth a visit. There are a lot of attractions that are probably worth buying the combination passes. We bought a ticket to one attraction which was over quickly and not totally worth the money.
You need to pay for entering the cloud forest and flower dome. And floral fantasy(?) As well as the Supertree bridge walk. All different spots unless CF and FD are one payment. A lot of flowers to see and it was cold. It was pretty, indeed, but just OK. Worth to see? Maybe. Worth the money? Maybe if they charged $15 (ticket was $28)
One of the greatest place to visit in Singapore. To add more joy to your trip visit after 7 PM and get ready for the famous light show. Super tress are stunning and can get the best clicks. More crowded after 6 PM.
This place is extremely overrated! The cloud forest was lovely. The flower dome was disappointing. The tickets are expensive and since it was raining and we were crunched for time we decided to get the buggy from the ticket area to the entrance - separate charge for that. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Just roam around the free gardens outside and leave the ticketed areas. If you really want to just do the cloud forest and skip the flower dome completely.
Paid $34 per person for tickets through the Klook app, only to discover our tickets needed to be upgraded for the christmas event, which was an additional $8 per person in order to enter the Supertree Grove. After upgrading our tickets, we were told that the OCBC skyway was closed, which was very dissapointing.
The Cloud Forest experience was stressful, after lining up for about 15 mins to enter, we had to queue up for an additional 40 mins, with many people pushing in line, to use an elevator to access the Cloud Walk platform. The Cloud Walk was not surreal or mist-filled as claimed on the website - there was no mist when we were there.
The flower dome was quite nice although very crowded. There was no queue to enter and there were lovely Christmas-themed displays.
The supertrees are amazing. But the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome are absolutely overhyped. There isn't much there that is "new", well many other people might have never seen such nature. If you have been to a Butterfly Garden, or a Botanical Garden. It is extremely similar, except without Butterflies. But, honestly wasn't worth the $28.
Beautiful gardens and scenery. Most of the outdoor gardens are free. The main indoor attractions require you to buy a ticket. You need several hours to do it justice. There is a food hall plus some resturants.
Even though this is man made, you can see the plants are thriving ... Great place to unwind with greenery and flowers...
Although I do wonder whether they should have park ranger to control number of people to enter at per 2 hours, so that it won't be overcrowded and also easier to ensure no irresponsible visitors destroying the plants
Thic Singapore iconic place is a must visit. Gardens by the bay has its free area and area who requires payment. To enjoy the nice melody with dancing fountain here is free, people love this place, so do I.
this place is good to visit when it is even day because the lights of the trees are colorful, there is a musical performance around the tree and the color of the tree lights changes according to the strains music. this place is clean, comfortable, and crowded. if you want to go up to a tree pay $ 8 but park under the tree is also nice and clean and also free, many people sit and lie there. this place is not too far from the merlion about 20 minutes if you walk through the helix bridge if you are here, you should arrive at 7:00 PM
Really cool gardens, well maintained and unique and informative. Loads of things to take photos of, my phone ran out of charge after 4 hours because the amount of pictures I took.
I want to come to this place so long. And the Falls is the thing I love most. Crowded people is inevitable, so have to take any precious second to pose a beautiful shot. Great place.
Very nice place. You can take fresh oxygen inside the garden. This is one of the man made largest flowers and trees collection in the world. You must visit this place at evening or night to see the actual beauty of the garden.
Truly a garden city. Good for morning walks, if you have a chance, head into the domes (Have to pay). They have themed decorations so it will be good to check it out before heading in.
Food option nearby is a bit limited but you could walk a bit more to get to a food center nearby!
Gardens by the Bay is really an amazing and important place to visit. The Amount of Work put into making it and maintaining it is Impressive. There are many attractions and usually take 1-2 days to visit them all. One of my favourite Attractions was Cloud Forest(S$14). You can see all the attractions throughout the day and enjoy the trees at night. in evening (7:45pm/8:45pm) they even play Song and Light show on trees which is mesmerizing to see. you can also see Marina Bay Sands Lit up at night from Gardens by the Bay. Overall a must-to-visit place.
~We decided to go on a Monday in hopes that the place wouldn't be too crowded. It wasn't too crowded and we got to take many nice photos!! Floral Fantasy is a new addition, so we went for it, and it was really lovely- the whole place had a potpourri smell to it and there were many photogenic spots! We went to Floral Fantasy and Flower Dome cause the Cloud Garden is under construction today. I've been to Flower Dome many years ago, and it hasn't changed much since then. Overall, Gardens by the Bay is a nice place to go to if you love nature and taking photos! The place is very asthetically pleasing to the eyes :) The price for floral fantasy is 20sing, and flower dome is also 20sing (if you're a foreigner), but they have a ticket where you pay 36sing for both and it includes the shuttle bus :)
Architecture marvel, hip pyramid design with gorgeous curvature of the building anchored by a boat like top that s only available to guests. Mall has astonishingly great selection of food!
Much effort has been spent in building this beautiful park. Without buying any tickets, I still enjoyed the scenery of the Marina Bay areas. The weather was very warm on that day and there were only few shading areas. After all, some exposure to sunlight is good to one's health. However, on a rainy day, you need to bring an umbrella with you.
Where you can find a very beautiful garden, very nice to see, including flowers that were unique and not easy to find.. Never enough pictures to capture them all.
Great place I would suggest to reach by 4 so that one can have the view of both daylight and darkness , Cloud forest is better than the other. Check before booking online cos most of the portals doesn't include osmo skydeck which I missed .
This is the most futuristic garden I ve ever seen! Go there if you love the combination of nature and futuristic buildings with extraordinary light shows.
Mid autumn festival events at gardens by the bay. With food stalls and beautiful lights display. Open till 11pm. Good for family outings. But parking is a huge problem as there are big crowds for the event. Advice: take public transport
