Excellent service and the meal we had was delicious and a reasonable price.

Had a homecoming ceremony and stayed a night at the hotel. Food was excellent in all means. Service was also great and they helped us a lot for our ceremony. Prices are very reasonable compared to the taste of the food and the sceneries. Highly recommended.

They try to keep it clean, but the non A/C rooms were smelling very moldy, in fact in the first roome they showed us was the worst. The fan wasn't working properly and in our double bed room was just one towel and no blacket... and thats for a price which was unacceptable. One street closer to the beach you get a better room quality for much less and hear the breeze...

A simple and economical place to stay in kalutara+a pool is avalable.Spacious bar is also situated here.Food is simple and affordable,take away meals are available and pre ordering is also an option.Ample parking available also.I stayed here about a week last year and the stay was not so bad.Can improve with room cleanliness and room service but overall good.

I have been visiting Garden Beach for the last 20+ years and this place is a consistent supplier of good food and courteous service.

Be careful when using the swimming pool, there are lot of sharp tile edges. Nobody is taking care even though complaint.

It's a pretty good place for as I can tell. And good for kids as well.

This is a budget hotel nothing too fancy, sure it has a pool but when you look around you can picture what kind of owners and the quality of the poor management. My review on this hotel is based on my experience and not a comparison with a 5 star hotel but what a budget hotel Standard should be.

Food was okay 6.5/10 there is no big spread, what you order what you get. The restaurant is a banquet hall. Brooms mops and other cleaning things were piled up where food was served. No filtered water the waiters refilled their jugs from the sink that was there at a corner to was your hands who ever didn't use utensils, plus water tastes different.

Common ares - nothing too much since its not been managed properly no one give attention to details, low staff assuming for budget cuts. So not a good vibe.

Room 1/10 had to ask for the a.c. remote and when received battery was no good. Had a decent bedding and a pillow each, no hot water ( it's ok since budget )

but the worst experience of all was I used their towel and mid way of wiping only noticed it was a used towel where there were lots of faeces (poop) and pubic hair in that towel. Disgusting!

Conclusion, this is good for a quick bang with your Madame on a budget ( most guests I saw) if you don't mind about quality hygienic aspect in a room or common areas.

Not a good getaway destination

Went for dinner. Very nice place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was a let down though. Very reasonable prices. Liquor available.

A good place for a leisure time and spend an evening or for dinner. Not very expensive. A small Hotel situated close to the beach. Beach is walking distance from the Hotel. A good venue for even a sudden meet up. Prices are recommendable and are in the mid range. Few Halls available for Wedding receptions. AC and Non AC rooms available for lodging.

We had the Beef with ginger and garlic which I think was the highlight - very succulent and rich. The devilled chicken was good, but not that memorable. We had French fries and we're expecting nothing out of the ordinary, but were pleasantly surprised by the fact that it was seasoned with chilli powder = #win.
The food was reasonably priced and portion sizes were decent .
It's not a particularly upscale place or somewhere you'd take your family given that it's actually more of a bar; that said, there were several families using the pool while we were there.

Great service with quick respond from room services. Food is delicious & on time. Room was clean & well prepared. Had a wonderful experience.
