In the huge Gorky Park in the heart of Moscow. One of the many cultural establishments of the park. An old Soviet era building converted into a museum of contemporary art. There is an old mosaic in the entrance hall.
I was more seduced by the building renovated by Rem Koolhas than by the collections.
Entry 500 rubles.

Of the advantages, I can only highlight the attentive staff and free tickets for seniors, disabled people and large families.
The cost of an adult ticket is 500 rubles. But the exhibition is so meager that it doesn't even cost hundreds of rubles. It was just boring and uninteresting. Here, 15 minutes will be enough for you to go around all 2 floors, regret the time and money spent and leave in frustration.

I want to believe that there are interesting exhibitions. I was not lucky. Really interesting items on the fingers count ... At every step supervisors, supervisors, afraid not to breathe. Of the pluses - paper guides, it is useful to read.
I do not think I'll go again. Erarta in St. Petersburg is much more pleasant)

Contemporary art is cool, it is very difficult for children sometimes to explain why it is necessary to go to museums, as they get bored, but the creativity of this museum just rolls over, so I can even walk with children!

Interesting exhibition at the time visited. Different and suprising - one of a kind, since it specifically refers to a moment in history of Russia that we won't see again_"Digging Up Soviet Underground Culture". Suspect they at any given moment will have a interesting exhibit to offer for art-lovers. The museum is progressive and rethinks the concept of art. The Park itself where it is located is nice too..
Check out the book store - it is a gem

I loved the exposition and the museum is very modern, clean, and beautiful. Its only problem is that it is in the middle of a park, which makes it hard to access. Overall a great place to visit if you like modern art (and even if you don't).

Murakami's exhibition is absolutely not worth standing an hour and a half in the cold in the rain and another hour inside. Very small and uninteresting. Better go to the Tretyakov branch near the museon!

Kind of a fashionable place has a small but tasty cafee. tickets for exebitions a too expensive. for that money i would rather go to Tretyakovskaya. stuff at the exebition is quite rude. Nice bookstore books are overpriced but you can read books for qure some time.

Great cultural and art venue in Moscow, a place for young, beautiful and free people. Worth even just wandering around so that one could feel immersed into those vibes of true freedom, creativity and audacity. Also there's awesome shop inside where Taschen books can be purchased as well as lots of other cool stuff. Highly recommended.

Perfect place! With pleasure we look after the exhibition or walks in the park. Coffee and breakfasts are delicious. The atmosphere is super, slightly muted light, you can sit with your friends, or you can work quietly.

Unfortunately, I managed to enter the cafe before the exhibition, having previously stood for 20 minutes in the wardrobe. The cafe is distinguished by extremely slow service and sluggishness of waiters. The cafe took 2 hours and spoiled the whole impression of visiting the exhibition.

The new Garage building is very cool.

The new Garage building is very cool.
It is a pity, of course, the building, because of which the Garage got its name, but what can you do.
The new Garage building has interesting exhibitions, a pleasant lecture hall and a cafe on the ground floor, an interesting store with books and merchandise.
Rem Koolhaas did his best, the building looks very cool too.
In winter, however, you need to be careful - beautiful trendy concrete tracks become damn slippery.

I absolutely agree with the opinion that this is not a museum, but hell knows what. It all started with a line at the cash desk, which was moving at the speed of a snail, ended with some kind of crazy show, i.e. all this healthy building of the museum is essentially one small room for a temporary exhibition. 300 rubles for going to the toilet in the long run. There is nothing more to do there

The building has its own history, plus one of the most famous Dutch architects of our time Remu Koolhaas, art lovers and just people in trend, as they say must seen, owes its modern look to this. The museum has an excellent store of books on all types of art, here you can find the masterpieces of the publishing house arrow, beautiful books ed. Garage and just interesting foreign news. Exhibitions are a bit extravagant for me, but art must ask questions. It is for new questions that I go to this museum :) on the basis of the museum there is a library and an open lecture hall, which I recommend especially!

Very caretakers caretakers: close to the exhibit can not be approached!?, A backpack over the shoulder can not. (In the wardrobe and when buying tickets, nothing about it was said). It looks like a progressive museum, but I felt myself in the Soviet Union. After this look especially do not want anything. And to be honest, there is really nothing to watch. One floor with a very disjointed theme.

Museum of Contemporary Art "Garage" (Russia, Moscow) - For the Garage museum, all people are equal but there are those who are more equal than others.

This Friday (04.11.2019) a lecture and presentation of the famous game designer Hideo Kojima should take place. The lecture should take place in the garage.
The museum website states that the lecture is free of charge by prior registration.
It is indicated below that club club cardholders will have access to registration a few hours earlier than everyone else. (at 9 a.m. 01.10.2019)
(There are no words that this is a closed event, that the number of places is very limited, too.)
I tried to register - registration for all opened at 12 o'clock on the same day today. At 12 exactly I updated the page and registered in less than a minute - the site issued a message "sorry, but all tickets are already sold out."
This means absolutely that there were fewer places than the owners of Garage club cards. Taking such a step, the museum administration understood that only the owners of these cards would be able to attend the lecture.
Why write that the event is open to everyone and open the registration for everyone?
Why cheat people?
The lecture format is open to all. This is not an exclusive press presentation. Why is this all? Free, but for those who have already paid. Greed and deceit.
Of course, a person is very famous and there will be a lot of people - but then write that this is a private event only for cardholders or indicate the exact number of seats. Or make the event private.
For the Garage Museum, all people are equal but there are those who are more equal than others
A garage is just a shame!

Was often, now not a foot.
So you can not relate to people and bustle.

The place will be interesting only to those who really appreciate and find something in modern art, unfortunately, I'm not one of those. A very meager and incomprehensible set of exhibits for the average person, the whole exhibition went around for + -40 minutes

Really did not like thee space or the very poor exhibition which was showing. It was something about sound, silence and deafness but even the blurb about the piece was incomprehensible. In addition, it was the only exhibit. We were in and out in 10 minutes.

The idea of the museum is not bad, but the ticket prices are very high compared to the organization of the process.
And now it's more detailed. The exhibitions are very individual - one was interesting to us ("Unlimited Rumor"), but its implementation has spoiled the general impression and reminded the soap bubble: how much we understood one of the most important components of the exposition to come into contact with "musical" instruments and fully feel their impact by all organs feelings, instead, we got fences around extremely expensive exhibits, order keepers, and most importantly - the lack of MEDIATORS, who SHOULD demonstrate the work with the exhibits, but they later appeared on the floor WITH A GROUP OF PEOPLE WITH RESTRICTED POSSIBILITIES, ON OUR SAME ATTEMPTS TO JOIN THIS GROUP OR ASK THE QUESTIONS THERE WAS SIMPLE IGNORING. Very NON-PROFESSIONAL. The second exhibition was devoted to chm2018. It was with a good claim, but it seemed quite simple and unfinished.
