Great place to stop by on certain weekends for WH40k, the people who work here on those days are great. But don't come here on the weekdays, one of the workers named "Dom" is a miserable man-child loser who gets very emotional and passive aggressive when things don't go his way, and certainly don't play with the guy, I've personally seen him yell at the people he works/plays with. Their merchandise is sometimes damaged and they don't like accepting returns. I can't comment on the magic community.

So to start when this place moved to Westlake the pricing was on the high end! So high I avoided this place for a while but when my friends told me to give it a second chance a few months later I have to say I was wrong. This place is great!!! The prices are super competitive and they have a fantastic variety in stock. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable in almost everything they carry. They only thing I can say that's not up to par is the singles selection and the players that go there but I expect that to change over time. All in all if you are not shopping here you are missing out. Give them a call and talk to them, you wont be disappointed.

Employees are attentive and easy to approach. Wide variety of items available from board games to dice to painting supplies. Definitely my favorite hobby place; prices can be steep. Fun way to spend a couple of hours. Number of visits per week: One

Awesome atmosphere and place to hang out, did a couple of FNM here and everyone was super nice and pleasant to be around. They had a ton of other board games I have never heard of but looked like a ton of fun to try.

Great place. They have lots of room so you can ay games there with your friends. They also have some games you can play as a demo. This has enticed me to buy games I wouldn't even consider. Pretty and affordable dice as well.

The staff are always easy to approach and knowledgeable gamers themselves. I came in wanting to get back into Magic after 15+ years away from the game. The man helping me didn't want to up sell me but rather to see what format I wanted to get into and discussed new mechanics before I made a purchase. The store is tidey and whatever your flavor of gaming; it'll be easy to find. They're events list is expansive and easy to navigate, so looking into that is a must. 5 stars for this gaming haven. -Cheers

Finally a great Hobby Shop!! All the locations near my house either closed down or stopped investing in minatures and models. Luckily for me I found Game Ogre and this place is AWESOME! With the help of Brian he was able to point out every single color I needed in order for me to achieve my specific color scheme. After painting my pieces I'm even more ecstatic about my purchases. If anyone plays Warmachines/Hordes lmk!! Menoth player here!

Wish the selection was better but as these places tend to be few and far between I won't complain too much. It's often busy but the employees are always helpful and the community seems nice. Response to the Owner: My friends and I are always looking for more Dnd accessories. A bigger selection of miniatures is always of use to us. It's better than what it use to be but I will always push for more Dnd stuff.

One of the best game stores out there. They have every rpg and card game you can imagine from Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the Gathering to Pokemon and Warhammer. If your looking to play a game or just buy some cards, this is your best bet.

Friendly and very nice atmosphere. I'm new to Magic so I came in to learn a few things and buy some packs, and felt very comfortable asking questions and the guy answering never seemed to be annoyed or trying to push me away. Very welcoming experience for a new person wanting to learn and sort or card game or board game. Will be my only go to store for now on. They have a calendar in the store and online of events they have constantly and have an open house for anyone wanting to come and hang out!

This place is really cool for Magic the Gathering. It reminds me of my time visiting Star City Games in Roanoke, VA. They are that good. They give fair pricing on pre-orders, they sell singles based on TCG player prices, they do Friday Night Magic with extra prizes (in Discord during this Pandemic time), their Magic community knows what they are talking about, and their staff answers all questions through phone, Discord, or in person. They also have a lot of nice board games and I bought a couple from here. I missed Magic the Gathering when I came to Ventura County and visited a couple of shops around here, but I would say that these guys do it the best in this county. I believe this so much so that I have been willing to make the extra long trip from west Ventura to visit this store.

Friendly staff, great selection of board games, rulebooks, and miniatures. On top of that, the place has something going on pretty much every day and is happy to host games! I see people come in frequently to play Warhammer 40k, Star Wars X-Wing, Destiny, Magic...

Amazingly friendly staff (thank you, Eric!), and plenty of room to game. Great place to get back into any game (AD&D - D&D myself), and feel welcome. I signed up for the lifetime rewards membership and plan on putting it to good use! Thanks for running such an awesome shop!

I've been here a handful of times and I love the family feel of everyone there during magic:the gathering sessions. The employee, Eric, has such a positive attitude and is always very attentive to any and all customers. Very clean, organized, and well managed.

Small shop but friendly staff. Room to play pretty much any game you'd like, plus a very large game library. Little small on the community side, but was talking with the staff and they are still trying to build their scene since moving from Northridge.

Best place around to get Magic cards and board games you wouldn't normally find elsewhere. Also a good place to get Warhammer figures and paints. They have weekly meet ups for various games as well.

I've stopped by here 5 or 6 times over the past couple years. EVERY time there are a bunch of guys playing a game at the table right in the middle of the store, using very profane language ... fbombs every few seconds. Do NOT take kids here. Very inappropriate. It's sad that the management doesn't seem to care. Regarding the games they sell here ... an OK selection, with average prices for a walk-in store. They are only a couple miles from JJs game lounge and Njoy us Games, both of which have very nice, kid friendly atmospheres and larger selections.

I am just visiting from San Diego but this place is awesome. Priceses compete and beat online prices and super chill staff. For the size of the shop it has a ton of great goods. And can't wait till the next time I get to stop by.

Tons of games workshop and other miniature table top pieces. Decent selection of board games and magic cards. Carried some cards I had a hard time finding else where. Prices are decent and seems they do tons of groups. Only negative I would say is the Google mapping directions points you to a side street 100 yards away from the store itself so be warned now to ignore the last step and just navigate to the pavilions that is right next to it.

A fantastic amount and variety of miniatures sold here for all table top games. I found a lot of great D&D supplies for my next session. The shop owner was very nice and welcoming. He even had example decks for games. They host a lot of table top games throughout the week. This shop is definitely worth stopping by and having a look around. Just expect not to leave empty handed.

Stopped in today looking for a good solo board game. Eric was very knowledgeable and directed me toward several choices. The selection here was the best I've found. He showed me at least 10 games that would be playable solo. Some of the other stores I've been in couldn't even suggest 1 game, let alone 10! I bought a game and a pack of card sleeves. Eric even explained to me why I didn't need all the sleeves suggested on the box. Great first experience! Will definitely return.
