Salesperson Eddie Alewine went out of his way to help me with what was probably a small issue to him, but was a big issue to me. Many thanks for outstanding customer service.

Don't take the time to insure proper parts and accessories are ordered. No follow up calls when parts come in. Customer service is poor.

My husband and I went in this morning to take a look at ceiling fans..of which we need 3. My hope was we would find a high quality fan. Now, from past experience, I realize that places like this usually require an appointment. I m assuming the same for this one. But...not a single person even said hello when we walked in. A couple of reps looked at us (one wearing ear buds behind a desk) and quickly looked away. We walked all through the store. Not a single person working there acknowledged our existence. We will be purchasing 3 ceiling fans..just not from here.

Visited the store this morning to purchase bathroom lighting. Not one single salesperson asked if we needed help! Very poor customer service.

Great local store to see the lighting options, many more on display than other stores we have visited so far. Sales team was a little aggressive but they eventually got the message that we were just starting to look.

Don t shop here. Staff takes all day to acknowledge paying customers and then when one guy finally came over he smelled like marijuana. So disgusting I will never be back!

A real good place to get what you need to light your house

I had the pleasure to work with Krystal on a personal home lighting project recently. The entire process was 5 star rating. She helped me research catalogs for the perfect lights that fit my taste. She offers a wealth of knowledge and resources. She came to my home to measure which proved to be a major money saver for me because the lighting I had picked on my own would have been too large for the space. She also offered recommendations on installation. I would highly recommend the Gallery of Lighting for your lighting needs.

Our salesperson Crystal always goes above and beyond to take care of us every visit. Very personable and quite knowledgeable of all of the products we've purchased. We have been consistent buyers for over a year and a half. Store selection is good, as no one can stock everything. What they can do is get you on track to finding what you need with the right sales staff. Delivery time can be a little stogie, more do to ciclic schipping schedule I guess. Very competitive pricing as well. Hard to improve apon.

I went here for a lamp repair this week and the repair man was helpful and honest. The brand new bulb that I had purchased somewhere else was defective, not the lamp. He was honest, replaced the bulb and sent me on my way and wouldn t even take a tip for his service. Amazing customer service and I will recommend this place to anyone needing repairs or a great lighting fixture. They have some beautiful chandeliers!

Gallery of Lighting was recommended to me by a friend who is a designer. I've been working with Eddie and have had a wonderful experience. He was incredible in his product knowledge, advise and follow through. I purchased lights for two bathrooms, our kitchen, dining room and the exterior of our home. I love all our choices and have been surprised at the dramatic impact that the lighting has had on our home!

Great service and friendly staff. Excellent selection.

Walked in and was never greeted, asked if I would like to be helped, or even spoken to. Was in the building for over 10 minutes without one word even being said to me. Walked out after being prepared to purchase a specific light in the Kichler line in the hopes of keeping my purchase local.

Good selection of lighting. Quite a bit of it is overpriced. You can find a lot of this stuff online at a cheaper price, but you can't beat being able to see it before you buy it.

I had a great experience upon my first visit to their store. Jamie was very helpful and worked diligently to help me find the light fixture I was looking for. Jamie price matched the lowest online price for an exhaust fan going in our bathroom, I never even asked him to price match it. He just did it. I plan on coming here in the future and recommending it to anyone looking for a local business offering lighting pictures.

Great selection to choose from. My wife and I were searching for the perfect lighting for our new mountain home in Asheville. I found Gallery of Lighting on the internet and decided to come to Greenville to look at what they had. Fantastic prices and plenty to choose from. My wife found exactly what she was looking for and it didn't hurt price wise.

I will clarify one thing first - the first salesperson I spoke to was very helpful and nice - she gets 5 stars. She referred me to another person who knew more about what I was looking for - that sales person gets one star. The salesperson was knowledgeable and after we figured out what I needed, the salesperson said they would email me with prices. I had to call back 3 times to remind them to send me prices - the last time I called was two weeks ago and still have not heard anything. Therefore - only a 1 star rating for the customer service from the one salesperson. Since then I have found another company who acted immediately on my needs and I have purchased from them.

I am going to add to this review that I recently wrote.......I received a call from the store manager - Tim Regan. I was surprised and glad that he called. We discussed the experience that I had with the store and with not getting a response. He was very apologetic and extremely polite and respectful. After our discussion, I learned that he is very conscious of how his customers are treated. I very much appreciated this. So I did tell him that when I have some lighting needs I will come to the store again. He told me to make sure he was there and he would personally help me with my needs. I give Mr. Regan 5 stars for reaching out to me and resolving the issues that I had. So with that call - and because of that call to me, I am revising my rating! Thank you Tim for your help and concern.

Lots of original inventory. Pleasant sales people. I'll shop here again.
