Galgorm Resort and Spa Review

Dinner in the River Room....Beautiful setting and very attentive staff.
We had a 5 course dinner which we thoroughly enjoyed. Somewhere for a special occasion.

If you want to spoil yourself or someone else this is the place to go to.

The Galgorm was a fabulous vacation spot. The thermal spa is grand. The staff are phenomenal they go above and beyond! Concierge Gary took impeccable care of us. He gets 10 out of 5 stars!

Just had afternoon tea at the Galgorm Spa & golf resort and as expected truely exceeds one's imagination. Service and food second to none, such a fantastic setting overlooking the river in full flow after heavy rain. Love this place

I had a fantastic time the staff were lovely. The room I stayed in was amazing. I d never been before but love the experience of it. I will be back.

Had a spa day in the thermal village, with lunch and private wood fired hot tub by the river for our anniversary, fantastic time, highly recommend it

This place is outstanding. What lovely staff. Just one thing. You don't seem to cater for vegetarians or vegans. I was most dissappointed.

Bliss, booked an overnight stay to enjoy use of spa and have nice meal in Gilly's. Spa is really lovely and we were able to go straight to spa hours before check-in time.

Food and staff are amazing. The spa is best ive ever seen. The room however was like the pits of hell, so so hot with no aircon got hardly any sleep with it being so hot! For the price you pay you would expect a nights sleep. Rang and complained told me to come back in the winter months lol

Food has gone down hill. Starting to get too busy in the spa.

We enjoyed a superb overnight stay with access to the spa and some treatments. This place is top class. The welcome, the staff, the service, the facilities are brilliant. Food was everything you,'d expect from a five star venue. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful resort hole family had amazing time stayed over in log cabin would recommend staying here to anyone. Staff where very helpful and friendly. Food was outstanding.

You can't help but feel instantly relaxed as soon as you arrive. Staff are seriously helpful and friendly, and there's a choice of places to eat and drink. The spa is class, and Galgorm is also an amazing wedding venue.

Outstanding hotel. Prices very over priced. Factcilities are superb. And the grounds are beautiful its no wonder theres so many weddings being held there

Went for the Twilight Spa package. Loved it. Food in Gillies was great and the thermal village was a brilliant experience. Will definitely be back.

Staff are great place looks awesome but be prepared to pay. This place is head and shoulders above other hotels with the same star rating. Visiting here is an experience in it's own right and worth every penny.

It is the ultimate spa experience: peace tranquility and relaxation all rolled into one. Probably the best spa resort in Ireland.

Nice retreat for a relaxing day or overnight stay. Always expanding so experience improves with each visit. Not enough beds outside which creates friction among other guests.

Booked a package for my wife's birthday. Had a fantastic stay. Had a maine massage, Celtic sauna ritual and personal hot tub with half bottle of champagne. Was a great day with treatments and thermal Village. Stayed in junior suite which was really comfortable with veranda. Had dinner in river room which was a fine dining experience which was just delicious. Was a nice touch when they brought out cupcakes and chocolates in a plate with a happy birthday message for my wife. Had a cocktail in the conservatory then went to gillies bar for a pint and some live music. Was a great day and evening and the staff who were all friendly and made it a great experience and my wife really enjoyed it. Thanks!

Best spa facilities around and the service in Gillies is 2nd to none. Paul was a fantastic waiter who made the experience that much better.

Aww first visit was on s hen. Staff where lovely and helpful. We had lunch in gilies, was brilliant service and food was delicious! The treatment was blissful. It is a lovely place to unwind and relax. It was raining during our visit but was still amazing. My only fault was it went far too quickly. I could have spent a week here easily!

Had dinner here twice last week. Excellent service and food. Wednesday steak night is a must. Tomahawk rib eye! Yummy!

Pros: this spa is amazing. So much to do and very well set up.

Cons:
The food in the cafe within the spa is average at best.
Can be very busy but this doesn't ruin the splendour!

Very beautiful suburban resort, it is recommended to stay for more than a week

Was at a wedding the food was rubbish the fish was dry and over cooked the prawns where like rubber could not eat it very disappointed

Wow... You want relaxation and to be treated like royalty then this is your place. It seems expensive but of you get and offer it's well worth it dinner bottled wine and the spa not to mention the rooms are amazing

Very good if straightforward food hampered by over-ostemtatious surroundings and some poor details - good service compromised by swawking telephone and bill presented as soon as you finish eating.

If there were 10 stars for this place, I'd give it. Just everything is BRILLIANT! From the ambiance to the food, to the Thermal Village and let's not forget the staff - I really cannot say enough about EVERY member of staff - everyone of them will go the extra mile for you and and love doing it. They are all so friendly and helpful. Isn't the 1st time I've been here and won't be the last.

The Galgorm is one of the best hotels in the whole of Ireland. I have no idea why it is only 4 stars . Compared to some 5 star hotels it blows them out of the water. If your doing the Spa don't forget the new garden

Went for my daughter's 21st stayed 2 nights in the cottage was amazing so relaxed will be back again soon.

I attended the spa at Galgorm resort and spa and it was a lovely experience. The thermal village was beautiful and had a great variety of amenities. There were several types of pools and saunas and it was fun to experiment with which one you enjoyed the most. If I went back to this area, I would try to visit the spa again.

Passing by and called into the restaurant just for a coffee and scone. Got a great view of the river. Erin was playing piano and singing for us. She brightened up a cold grey day. Beautiful voice and choice of songs. So relaxing with quick friendly service. We'll be back
