This place is a true gem! Open both summer and winter - offering a wide variety of activities that you can participate in.

In the summer, we love stopping by for breakfast/coffee and sitting on the deck enjoying the sunshine. Followed by planning in the lawn with all the pups that come by. The mountain bike trails are phenomenal, and they offer something for everyone.

In the winter we love sneaking in for a coffee (and breakfast burrito! YUM!) whilst enjoying the fire place and folks gearing up for Nordic skiing.

...speaking of, the Nordic trails are pristine! The shop is super helpful and very knowledgeable about where to go per skill level. Be sure to buy a 'pass' for the day so you can enjoy the trails! And, if you are traveling with a dog (like we are) be aware that there are certain trails dogs are and are not allowed on.

No matter the season, the staff remains amazing! They are so friendly!

We love this place!

....also, note - they do not have wifi for public usage. So, do yourself some good - and disconnect.

Excellent soups and sandwiches. Service with a smile. There could possibly be a nicer place to grab lunch before or after your hike, bike ride (rentals available) or just enjoying the view. One thing though, I had zero cell service there. As far as I'm concerned, that's a good thing. You may feel otherwise.

Had a wonderful time snowshoeing on the trails. We stayed in a yurt for 2 nights. Great and friendly service in the lodge where you can grab breakfast or lunch. They also provide Nordic skiing trainings and the shop rents all the equipment you could need.

Best Nordic ski experience ...period. Miles of perfect trail, plenty of snow. All the gear you need, classic, skate ,snow shoe and bikes in the summer. A bar, great beers, delicious lunch, cool people, expert instruction and loaner dogs. What else could you need. Oh, a yurt to spend the night in.

This is a review of the food served. Burgers were OK but nothing special. I ordered an Elk burger and it arrived cold and rare. Took awhile to get the servers attention and she did offer to have it put back on the grill but nothing else. Elk is difficult to cook because if it gets cooked too long then the meat gets tough. So this takes some skill, which apparently the cook did not have because he/she miscalculated on the grossly raw end of the scale. Might be a great place to stay but I won't be coming back for food.

This place is awesome! The trails, the staff, and the food are all incredible! We had no idea what trails to hike/ride, but the staff, Michael & Andrea went out of their way to make sure we had an epic day! Not only did they direct us to the best trails, but they made us espresso, sandwiches, and even gave us tips on other cool places to explore. Very impressed with both of them! Not into biking? The hiking there would be awesome, and pretty sure you rent a dog for a day! So cool. Thanks Michael & Andrea for making it epic for a couple of Georgians!

I didn't hate it, but it was closed. At 5pm. I got there maybe 5 minutes after and sat on the shade as 20 or 25 people came and wanted to order food and or drink. The staff was eager to go mtn biking, but the mtn biking tourists were thirsty.

Cool lodge and history of late 1800's with the settlement of Galena for mining. Great mtn bike trails! At lunch at the lodge, way nice folks there, food was ok. Turkey sandwich was nothing to write home about and left a bit hungary. They even have a pay phone...those things still work?? No cell service.

This has to be the most beautiful place to ski in America. The people are so kind and warm. I love to stop in after a ski, grab a warm beverage and sit by the roaring fire. And the food! Oooooooh the food. A perfect day

LOVE!! What a great experience. The biking trails were well maintained, challenging, and pleasant with lovely views. The lodge cafe was great too - good beers and drinks, tasty pastries and yummy looking food. Great vibes. Cool apparel. Can t wait for winter season to try the trails covered in snow!

Fantastic eatery in the middle of nowhere! Was expecting something along the lines of caf food and was very pleasantly mistaken. Great seating options inside and out with killer views.

If you re looking to have a beautiful outdoor wedding with Mother Nature as your backdrop, look no further because this is the place. Erin and crew at Galena, were very helpful in planning for the day of, setting up, and making sure everything ran smoothly. The food for our wedding was delicious, and the servers were friendly and helpful. Erin, is the easiest person to work with and always prompt on answering your questions. Thank you Galena!

Galena Lodge is wonderful year round. Mountain biking and Nordic skiing trails are the best in the northwest. When you finish exerting yourself on the trails, head in for incredible food, drinks and live music. You will not be disappointed.

Galena Lodge is one of my most favorite places in the Ketchum/Sun Valley area. Their food is some of the best in the valley. The Don's bars are unmatched . You have to try one to know what I am talking about. Really, their entire menu is delicious...the hot chocolate, the veggie quesadilla, the foccacia Pizza. They really do it right. The people are friendly (Don & Erin are great), the atmosphere is awesome and there are not better views. Their NYE dinner is one of my favorite holiday traditions. I cannot say enough good things about it!

So much fun!! Went snowshoeing on a complimentary guided tour during spring break. Very interesting fun & sunny. The food there was perfect. Gluten free fryer. The BEST fries I have ever had, hands down. Free sleds for the kiddos to play too. Yurts if you want to stay there as well.

The surrounding area has miles of mountain bike and hiking trails during the summer, and snowshoeing and CC skiing all winter. The lodge is just big enough to feel like you're off the beaten path, but with good food, and music on the patio most noon winter weekends.

Our host took us to Galena Lodge to for a break from three days of skiing and as a way to see more of the area. A quick and gorgeous 20-25 min drive from Ketchum, we arrived in at the lot right off the highway. A great staff rented us the equipment we needed, provided maps and pointed us on our way. We cross country skied for over two hours. It was one of the most beautiful 2 hours of my life. Within minutes of getting on the trail we found ourselves skiing through postcard. Great trail maintenance, good signage as well. Also a fantastic restaurant, don't miss that.

If you haven't been to Galena Lodge before you may be surprised by all this rustic mountain lodge has to offer. Sitting at the base of the scenic Boulder Mountains, it has amazing food, a full bar, cross country skiing and snow shoeing in the winter, overnight yurt accommodations, and amazing mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding trails in the summer. Don't miss visiting Galena Lodge.

Went with my husband and three dogs (the owner even knew about my rare dog breeds). We ate lunch then hiked and came back for a snack. The potato torte, pork sandwich, and lamb burger were all excellent. Great root beer and ginger beer too! Very dog friendly with a dog deck and a field where you can sit. Lovely service. Fantastic overall experience.
