Turkey pesto sandwich is the way to go! It's so delicious. The bread is toasted perfectly. When you bite into it, it gives off that crunch sound. The turkey, pesto and cheese is the perfect combination. Actually, with me anything with pesto & cheese is yummy to me. It's $7.50 for the sandwich which is a bit pricey on the side with the portion.

However, it's a great place to grab coffee and food if you're working or visiting PUC.

This cafe is located in the PUC building. Sometimes the mural will be on and it's a nice visual on how SF gets its power. I haven't tried the coffee yet. So far, I've had the egg frittata sandwich, the arugula and strawberry salad, and the caesar salad.

The food is pretty fresh, and the staff is friendly. It's also very clean. A lot of the employees and surrounding government employees come here to get something to eat/drink. It's a bit pricey, but it's close by so it's very convenient.

BEWARE of the register person with the funky short hair cut. Not only did she not tell me the total amount I owed, but also "miscounted' my change. Sweet potato soup was too spicy and too fibrous. Too bad. I had high hopes for this place. (Somehow thought they'd be related the awesome ACRES place in the Presidio.) I am not a big fan of the stylized decor, either. But to each their own.
