Beautiful hotel with friendly attentive service. However, the massage I received here in the spa was poor and definitely not worth the money. I recommend staying here, but get your beauty treatments somewhere else.

Very friendly staff. The room was modern, big and clean and had a lot of mirrors. The breakfast was great too. The best feature was the "Handy guide". A smart phone at your room which you can take with you whilst strolling through Edinburgh. It offers free internet access, you can book tickets, get informations and call with it.

While it is a bit overpriced I found it a great hotel in almost any aspect. The location is certainly what justifies a higher price, in the heart of the historical part of the city, close to st. Giles cathedral, the national museum and the castle. The staff is super and the rooms are really good.
Something could be improved, e.g. the breakfast which was very poor - and some minor maintenance work could make it all perfect.
The reason why I assign only 1 star is because unfortunately I got food intoxication and have been chasing them up, filled an official survey (form sent from an independent agency) but really consider extremely poor the way it has been managed (or better not managed at all).

Fabulously opulent but not over indulgent the rooms are spotlessly clean, well maintained, use quality fabrics and materials and linens and is generally a great location to stay.

The bar serves well made and interesting cocktails and at prices that are very reasonable for a city centre hotel.

breakfast was served quickly and with great food, this is a stunning location with great views and a fabulously relaxing place to stay.

After staying here for a week I've had to lower my initial rating. The venue was nice, but the room cleaning and service was pretty poor - things wouldn't be replaced or cleaning just didn't occur.

It's a nice hotel in a great location, each floor has its own color. They have a nice selection for breakfast, and a decent bar. The rooms are average size, almost all have mini refrigerators.

Fantastic location on the Royal Mile with wonderful rooms and staff. They treated us very well during our stay. We spent two nights at the beginning of our trip and returned for two more at the end. They not only asked if we liked the original room, but took note of little details to make us feel more at home. Highly recommend!

We were looking forward to our Afternoon Tea, a gift given to me for my birthday, however the bread of the sandwiches was dried up and the scones were so hard and very dry in the middle. We asked for other sandwiches but they were the same. More

We all have busy jobs and hectic lives and sometimes relaxing in your own home just won t cut it. When I start to feel emotionally and physically bedraggled, there s one place in Edinburgh I know will restore the balance: the Spa at Hotel Missoni.

Friendly staff and beautiful surroundings make way for expert treatments that will leave you feeling even better than your old self. I ve had a lovely massage and a couple of facials, with my favourite treatment being the Eve Lom Signature facial, which is literally an hour and 30 minutes of bliss.

Asides from facials and massages, the spa also offers waxing, manicures and everything else you would expect from a spa facility.

When your treatment is over, enjoy the lounge area complete with herbal teas and a selection of fresh fruit (don't tell anyone, but I may have eaten more strawberries than was socially acceptable), before you head to the reception desk to promptly book your next appointment.

A beautiful spa in stunning surroundings, the next time you need a bit of pampering, make the spa at Hotel Missoni your place for some R&R.

Amazing hotel with staff to match. Spending 4 nights here for my birthday and everyone has been lovely. Thank you to Heather in Guest services for the special attention and lovely card. Nothing is too much bother and lots of extra special touches. Normally stay at the Radisson blu but will definitely stay here again.

Spent two nights at the Radisson Collection in January 2019. Location of this hotel is fantastic if you are a tourist, check-in is done in no time, all of the staff is very friendly and helpful, the Welcome Gin & Tonic was delicious and highly appreciated.
Rooms are Radisson-like equipped with a nespresso machine that we brought to use, the bed is very big with a hard yet comfortable mattress and perfectly comfortably pillows. Unfortunately the windows did not open and the windows could not shield us from all of the street noise (made by cars and someone playing bagpipes).
Cleanliness was impeccable as always as well as the breakfast selection and quality, however wherever I looked I could not find the fifth star, which was maybe because the spa area was closed.
We still had a great time and a lovely base to explore the city.

Great greeting on arrival. Fantastic room. Or dog biscuit was made to feel like a VIP with own bed biscuits and toy in the room. The bar staff were all very
friendly and made us feel at home , especially Brigitte. Will definately be back later in the year.

We came to Edinburgh for three nights and after looking at a lot of hotels decided on the Radisson Collection. We went for the premier collection on the top floor with a castle view. Lovely view, fridge did not work and was told by reception that it s not really a fridge??
The bed was big and very comfy, no where to hang your coats in such a spacious room. Parking was great and very reasonable for a city.
Breakfast was nice with a good choice although the bacon was terrible and under cooked and fatty. On our last day there was a big group of about 70 and they ran out if everything and when I asked a waiter for some items that had ran out he replied he was busy sorting out the juice. Would have thought he would have been better replenishing the food instead of cleaning the juice area and been more helpful.
We enjoyed our stay, when we checked out I was not asked how our stay was? Friendly staff but for a 5 star a few minor issues.

Unfortunately we were a little disappointed with this 5 star, the staff in the restaurant was not so friendly, too big for large people that staff is overwhelmed.
Room very nice, unfortunately you can not open a window ...
The morning buffet was delicious, but not enough for 5 stars. In a 4 star hotel from the same collection we had the larger buffet .. too bad ....

Very well located in the historic center of Endinburgh. Staff always very pleasant and solicitous. Cozy accommodations. Welcome drinks are to die for. Hotel offers a free cell phone with internet for your use during the stay. Sensational.

Absolutely fantastic hotel for seeing the sights in Edinburgh. Loved our weekend stay and we actually got married here! The rooms were lovely, we had a complimentary upgrade to a suite as we had our ceremony here too. From the moment we arrived to check out the staff were fantastic; short notice pressing of my wedding dress was arranged without a problem by the front of house manager. Really appreciated all the little touches. Great place for getting about too; short walk to the castle, art gallery, Old Town, Christmas markets etc etc. Loved it :-)

The location is great. Especially for solo travelers like me. You are in the middle of the action. Just below the Castles. At night it is still quiet. The breakfast is good, although I lack the eggs, you have to order extra. Diw room, or my room, is not luxurious. But enough for a city break. German TV. At least RTL. Coffee machine . Iron. Hairdryer. Minibar. The bathroom a bit small but very stylish. Nice wide beds. Nothing to complain. And that means something for me

Very nice hotel, the counter staff were really friendly; I personally wasn't a fan of the head waiter at breakfast (bit much for the morning) but he was also very friendly. The bed was nice and comfy, the room was quiet with a nice view and the toilet and shower were modern. Would absolutely reccomend.

Arrived early, but was given a room straight away,...

Arrived early, but was given a room straight away, unfortunately the view from the window was completely obscured by scaffolding, signage, ladders and overlooked the building site. We complained about this and was quickly given an upgraded room.At this price and in the knowledge that we were staying in a five star hotel we just felt the little things were not on point. We found dust and dirt in the room. It was a badly lit room. Even though we had the air con on low during the night the room was heating up due to us being on the third floor with no window to open. The mat in the room was tatty and the art work on the wall, we just didn't get it. We didn't have the usual TV channels, one of the hotel staff swore twice when speaking to us in the elevator. Half way through the stay my door card stopped working, although we enjoyed breakfast we felt it was overpriced and the selection of pastries and fresh fruit was extremely limited. On the last night of our stay we entered the hotel entrance, and were making our way towards the bar when we were accosted by a member of staff who seemed to think we were just a couple of strangers walking around lost, we found his attitude abrupt and very rude. Although they seemed to have a well stocked bar they didn't have the drink we asked for from the menu. Neither of us could get on with the pillows and resorted to using folded up towels underneath to get comfortable. I like to have a coffee in a morning, but there was only a noisy horrible espresso coffee machine in the room which was extremely noisy and hard to understand, meaning I could not have my morning coffee, something so simple but unexpected of a five star hotel. We both felt that we could of saved some money by booking into the premier inn, located not far away. It would of been perfectly adequate, with breakfast included in the price. To end on a positive the lady that checked us in and out was friendly and helpful, upon checking in and departure and with the upgrading of the room.

This is definitely my best Radisson. Even if the fire alarm did go off. Staff very friendly. Rooms lovely. Very close to city centre for everything. Next time will bring all my sports gear to really enjoy the facilities.

This hotel is in a perfect position to explore Edinburgh. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. This was one of the best hotel beds ever! We were with a large group and they did not miss a beat. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! The wait staff was very professional and helpful.

Great location but overpriced. Painting a rather ordinary room in strong colors and making it "Collection" or "Design" hotel - does not introduce any luxury. The rooms are still small the place to store the clothes is still limited, and a five-star hotel that had the room made 8 pm is rare
Breakfast was also quite ordinary and one should not have to wait for minutes getting a table. Nice staff everywhere, but some way disorganized. This was not quite usual Radisson standard.
But location great.

I have stayed at numerous 4 and 5 star hotels in Edinburgh on business over the last ten years, and I have to say I have rarely been disappointed. An opportunity came up recently to stay at this hotel and I unearthed an absolute gem, that far exceeds them all and goes that extra mile. It is not often a hotel goes out of its way to make a guest really feel extra special, but this hotel does that and more. It is my second time I have stayed here and it will be top of my list every time.

Popped in for breakfast. The surroundings and food quality were all good but the staff were not really ready to provide table service, being more set up for the buffet, even though they offer table service. For example, if you wanted ketchup then the staff told you to go and get it yourself from the buffet table. Not a disaster but doesn't encourage me back.

Used to be awesome, but since the name change it has become average. It seems that taking this hotel from boutique to corporate is showing us why we love boutique hotels. Things are looking a bit shabby, the once fabulous bath products are now awful, the little touches just aren't there anymore. It is a shame, this use to be a favorite.

LOVE THIS HOTEL! You walk inside and in but a moment you've entered this beautiful, modern oasis...your new home away from home...in one of the world's most extraordinary cities!! The reception desk staff are some of the most gracious and patient people I've had the pleasure to meet and interact with... They set the mood beautifully. My room was on the front side of the hotel and from my modern room the ancient building across the way was a perfect "opposites attract" kind of moment! Everything about my room was quirky, fun, hip, and most comfortable and quiet!! The giant shower was equally decadent and soothing all at the same time! My giant bed was sooooo equally comfortable and soothing after long days of walking all over Edinburgh.... Just saying! The breakfast buffet in the very nice dining room was quite delicious and full of choices that should appeal to even picky eaters. The staff aim to make everyone happy and I think they succeed beautifully! The neighborhood is quirky and the hotel is just around the corner and a short walk from Edinburgh Castle! I highly recommend this well-appointed modern hotel and the great team of personnel who all make it tick with great ease and excellence! Bravo!!

Sound proofing is very bad, it's possible to hear all sorts of noises from different parts of the hotel as well as the usual exterior noises. If you're a sensitive sleeper then I recommend you avoid. This view is based on 10 days stay.

Comfortable room and nice finishes, great location and not exorbitant price for a five-star hotel. But the technology in the room (television and coffee machine) were far from intuitive, and should be more user-friendly to enable playing personal media. Finally, the breakfast was close to terrible, having been pre-cooked and served from under a heat lamp. Cold coffee.

This was a good base to explore Edinburgh comfortable rooms, spoilt by a few dodgy lights in our room, quiet in the evening, good service, friendly staff, and even complimentary fruit in the reception area ... always a plus point in my book!

Do not stay here during covid. High prices, nothing open. Asked staff to get me a table at a bar said it was fully booked. I called up and got my own table , complete waste of money for a suite, stay at the Waldorf Astoria.

Nice hotel but having 'upgraded' to a Signature room I am still not sure what the upgrade covered, was a perfectly normal room but having paid more was expecting something different to say what I had got if I had paid for a normal room.

OMGosh! Modern with an amazing view of the ancient. The entire staff was so friendly and fun. I wish Alan, not his real name (could not figure out how to pronounce his Scottish name) good luck with getting permission to marry his love.
