This is home! Is it the human friendly design, the W17 team which is so pro or the cafe which has the most fun/friendly/full of heart staff and kickass (healthy) food to match. Noise is sometimes an issue (worked here for over a year and their glads box offering and soubd proofing works aroubd it well)so that is why no 5 stars, but i wd work here again anyday! Great buzz great people great food.

We had the best toasted cheese sandwich at a store close to the workshop. The workshop is light and airy and I would have loved to have a work space there... and there's a canteen that's well priced.

If you are looking for a good co-working space or meeting rooms on a regular or for occasional use, Workshop 17 is a good place. There are lots of desks, some with multi-plug sockets, and you can touch down anytime or attend one of the events that are held regularly. Very techie vibe, good free wi-fi and an onsite cafe. The selection of food in the cafe is limited but as you are st the Waterfront, there are lots of eateries. Two big flights of stairs to access the space. Perhaps call if you need assistance as I haven t seen a lift. There is plenty of parking across the road or elsewhere at the water front.

This venue is great and the staff is super helpful during the event planning phase. However, the place is so secluded, people usually either don't know how to get there or they don't want to. Also considering that there is usually traffic going in and out of town at certain hours... You may want to plan your event around that.

Otherwise, if you're just visiting. It is a nice and intimate place for tourists to buy some South African souvenirs like beaded accessories and such. It is also quite popular among entrepreneurs and creatives.

Workshop 17 is a dynamic and vibrant working space that features great facilities for hot desking, dedicated desks, state of the art board rooms, event spaces and an ideas lounge. Whether you just want to work from their trendy coffee shop and feel the hustle and bustle to planning your next venture, Workshop 17 is worth a visit. It also boasts amazing views of Table Mountain and overlooks one of the oldest functional dry docks in the world.

Was here for a meeting and loved the ambience and facilities. It has an energetic vibe and is very well laid out. Certainly far better than a boring boardroom meeting inside an office block. So many vibrant works spaces and what a lovely view. Accessible to restaurants and stores for shopping. It has a cafe on the premises. It needs to offer more healthy meal options and it is a little pricey. But otherwise just lovely.

Lots to do in this space. The coworking option is attractive and surrounds you with vibrant startup businesses. Cafes, shops and team building options litter the space. Great events often hosted here so keep in the loop.
