Fusion Medical Staffing Review

I would recommend this company to healthcare workers looking to travel! They are amazing and are family oriented. Becoming a part of the Fusion Family was best decision ever! The have always gotten me a contract and kept me working! Always available 24-7 and you have one point I d contact that gets the job done and goes above and beyond!! Fusion cares about its travelers and treats them like family! Any questions that I have had or issues at a facility they have handled in a timely manner and got things taken care of!! Couldn t ask foe a better company to work for!!

If I could give no stars I would. I'm a 30 year old cna been one for 10 yrs. I did two contracts for fusion and both resulted in the same mannor. I was sent home early at my expense!! Bad recruiters that are ok to your face and fake when no one is listening. Don't call you back and don't stand up for you or have your back.Also assure you things will go great even though they don't have a clue.Things happen in both places that were not my fault. I covered myself!!! I'm heartbroken it happened twice.I keep asking myself why do I do this to myself is it worth all this heartache. I love being cna and hope that maybe I'm just haven't found my place.

Fusion needs to consider changing the name to Fusion Medical Family. Yes they do staffing but everyone is considered family. No one is here to judge you and everyone is willing to help! I wish everyone had a workplace like Fusion where family is number one!

I m on my first assignment with fusion. The hospital I took an assignment with was a hot mess in the beginning: from scheduling, to wanting to float me to entirely different hospitals, to not giving me any information or contacts, etc. Fusion & my recruiter had my back! I was so stressed at one point I was ready to walk away and I all I remember my recruiter saying was You are my first priority! Just know that! My recruiter went manager over manager over boss to get me what I needed & never stopped. They really do care.

Been working for this company as a traveling Medical Technologist for about 6 months now and couldn't be happier. Pay is excellent, and the people are beyond wonderful. They always have awesome assignments available and always make sure to put me somewhere I'm comfortable. I can't recommend this company enough.

They will not stop contacting me. I've tried multiple times to tell them to stop harrasing me about work and they still message me. They do not even know what I do for a living when they try to solicit me. I never even gave them my number, pretty sure another traveler did it to make money off my referral. I was polite at first, but it's getting old.

Currently on assignment with Fusion and have nothing but good things to say about them. My recruiter was completely transparent with me as far as pay, information regarding the hospital, and compensation. I have worked with many other travel companies and none compare.

I am on my second contact with Fusion, and I have had the best experience so far. Fusion provides a very personal experience, and has found me exactly what I wanted in my assignments. My recruiter is very responsive and knowledgeable and has guided me through the process making me feel extremely comfortable with my decisions. I could not ask for a better experience than the one I have had with Fusion!

Make sure they pay you. I worked with them for about a year and they had a few missteps. In the end, my recruiter, Katie Schlee, started to scoff at my requests to be paid. After leaving the company they hesitated to pay out my PTO. Had to contact HR directly to remind them. Contacted a legal firm too who informed me incidentally that they had sued Fusion in the past!

There are good things about Fusion too. But the above are deal breakers.

You have to pay your nurses without trying to ridicule their requests to be paid in the process.

I ve completed three assignments, 2 of which were with Fusion. Truthfully, it s hard to imagine working with anyone else. Never had any issues - my recruiter is 100% transparent and I never feel like I m alone in working through issues with a facility (though I ve been lucky enough to not have many of those either). He really listens to what I want and works so hard to help me achieve my dreams. Through comparison with a couple other companies, I ve always felt that Fusion was very fair (and usually the highest). 10/10 recommend Fusion.

I was working with Fusion to switch companies, and everything was going very smoothly. I even really liked the recruiter I was working with. I found a great assignment that I could tell I was going to love. Fusion boasted about being a better company then they low balled me. It was quite an offensive offer, as a lab professional. The only time they offered to talk about it was when I took the contract from them and gave it to another company. Ended up making DOUBLE at another company. Fusion fell short when it mattered, so I had no choice but to ask their client to hire me through a different company and not Fusion. They lost me and their client instead of paying me what I deserve. Seems penny wise, pound foolish to me.

So I m little disappointed that they will only let me give 5 stars, because this place is amazing!!! I m surrounded by people that love what they do! Fusion is the Google of Medical Staffing. They might not have been the first, but they are the best! There is no magic formula or rocket science to it. The reason why Fusion is such a great place to work for is because the company believes that treating people great is more important than anything!

Horrible. Was passed to 3 different recruiters, then no jobs. Was asked if I would apply for multiple licenses in states I had not been licensed before- and, NO I don't want to be driving all over the northeastern US in the middle of winter. Had already paid to renew license, certificates, etc. costing me big $$$ and they didn't have the jobs they advertise on their website. So, no job or income for the holidays. Wonderful for thanksgiving & Christmas.

Fusion truly treats you like family. They are there for you throughout your whole assignment and then even after they are always checking on you. This is the only company I would travel with if you are starting to look into traveling, and if you've been with other companies it's time to apply with the right one. FUSION is the way to go.

Bureaucratic, impersonal and concerned with profit more than the safety and well-being of its employees. During hurricane Michael, I was told by my recruiter to stay in Panama City Beach despite the mandatory evacuation so that I could be available in case the hospital management called me. Also, the general lack of communication has been a problem. I continue to receive a bill for $706 from lab work the agency agreed to cover. The agency told me three months ago that the bill had been paid. It has been a poor experience especially considering all the high ratings--which was the main reason I chose Fusion.

I have been a traveling RN with Fusion Medical Staffing for just over 2 years. After attempting to work with several other agencies, Fusion stood out the most based on the recruiting staff personalities alone. Other agencies tried to sell my travel partner and I on what their agencies offered, the perks, pay, incentives, etc and showed very little interest in what our goals and ambitions were. From the very first phone call with Fusion, we were asked what our interests were both professionally and personally, where we would like to go, what we would like to get out of traveling. We were then matched with an incredible recruiter who has had our back through some very tough assignments and has become a great friend! The entire Fusion team works very hard for their travelers and are very interactive. We're always celebrating something! Our fellow travelers are very friendly, too! We have made many lifelong friends across the United States thanks to Fusion!

I worked with Fusion for my travel nurse assignment in Washington state. I was impressed with the competitive pay and the quality of the facility. Fusion has a great website where you can search jobs and compare easily. I love the transparency in their website you can easily see a ton of info about a job before you even apply for it! Such a time saver!

I have been working with a few medical staffing companies and I prefer Fusion. They have been very honest, upfront and have my best interest as the goal for my employment. My recruiter checks in with me often. The pay is very competitive. The insurance and PTO are added benefits. I will continue to work with Fusion in the future.
