Lately we have received the presentations that the actors complain about the state of the theater, and I agree. Being very old it needed a more modern maintenance. Anyway, you have to take care not to end it. But I still like it there.

The air conditioning was not working. Bathroom without soap and towel. Despite this, Paulinho da Viola's show was great.

The whole place is surrounded by art. There are galleries with interesting exhibitions. There are several rooms in which you have several simultaneous presentations (sometimes). I have been several times to watch plays, see exhibitions and operas. The space is very organized and cozy. There is a coffee shop at the bottom and a small shop in case someone wants to take a souvenir home. Access to the rooms is easy and the people who work at the place are super friendly.
