It's a beautiful place. Great for events like theater, concerts, exhibitions and etc. Place to go with friends, or as a couple or as a family. It has a great location (Avenida Afonso Pena) with easy access to the whole city, car or public transport (several bus lines pass through there).

I really like this place, because it is where I watch beautiful operas, musicals, theaters, it has a very cozy cafeteria, handicraft shop, it is located in a beautiful avenue and park in BH. It has bathrooms, entrance for wheelchair users and a place for wheelchairs inside the theater. The location is beautiful!

I went to watch the presentation of the Messiah and I was scared with abandonment of the place. I went with my grandmother of 84 with limited mobility and the elevator was spoiled with great difficulty. a dirty table saying that there was only that, we had to climb several stairs again.
Upon entering the grand theater, we had to have a snack on foot, which was priced to make any airport jealous at the exorbitant price.
In the theater, the air conditioning was stopped and some air conditioners were improvised, which are certainly insufficient for the environment because the value was insurmountable. And sad to see a place of great importance for Minas Gerais culture in this way.
Very pleasant atmosphere. The theater is quite large and comfortable. Since it has many seats, it is easy to get tickets as long as you have some advance notice. It is the seat of the Minas Gerais symphony orchestra, which regularly performs at the theater.
I love this place. It is a very beautiful space, with very good acoustics, comfortable chairs and wherever you are sitting, you can easily see the stage. I watched operas, ballets, humor shows, MPB, Grupo Corpo and many other masterpieces. There was already a sensational project in the 80's that was like Art in the second, I don't remember the name. It was with tickets at very affordable prices and brought great shows. I should go back. Don't miss this place!
Palace of Arts is a temple. Perfect acoustics. It's a place you can't die without visiting.
The place is beautiful, and plenty of space to watch the black theater of Braga was very good.
For shows is great, only highlights are the bathrooms of the big theater that should be improved.
