Real ice cream to the max! Delicious and super creamy!
Delicious ice cream for $6. Cash only and parking lot is super small. They had been out of lots of flavors lately
It is hard to believe that their plant is so tiny. They produce great ice cream. The best are their mango and macapuno flavors. They beat Magnolia and Selecta in flavor.
Best ice cream ever! Can be purchased at Niles Ice Cream in Fremont also.
Love that this place is a mom and pops place the banana nut is fantastic.the parking is horrible
This places Ice cream is the exact same you get in a grocery store. Stop overhyping it
Never have what you want in stock. I get it its popular. Make more or change your hours so people can actually buy your stuff!
Old fashioned style ice cream - nothing too fancy, but it sure is tasty. It also only $6 for a tub - what a deal. You basically walk through the back entrance, take a look at their flavors and then tell them what you want. I've had quite a few flavors now, but my husband loved the burgandy cherry and my favorite is the cookie mint crunch. The vanilla is also great, rich and creamy.
The last time I was there, they were all out of the seasonals, *tear* But they usually have many to choose from. The only one I've tried that I wasn't crazy about was the peanut butter cup, just a bit too rich and too much peanut butter swirling for my liking.
A gem if you can make it there (they're only open during work hours during the week).
Just discovered this place. Already ate a full tub of ice cream in 5 days...and I hardly eat ice cream. This stuff is addicting, and so many flavors!
Random note, I just called them and they cannot recycle/reuse the empty containers.
An independent ice cream making facility. They sell to most grocery stores in the south bay. Very rich in flavor. A good product from a small company.
My Go-To for vanilla frozen yogurt, so deliciously tart and creamy. Adding Oreo cookies to it is the best. Mmm mmm yummy.
Really cute place in billyburg! I had the root beer float and it was delicious with a premium home made bottle of root beer and their vanilla ice cream that which had cinnamon in it. Top notch... And with a fun decor! Check in to their monkey pin!
Used to go here as a kid and the ice cream was delicious. I remember the mango ice cream was my favorite. Can't wait to go back!
I Liked this place. They have this good variety of ice cream to choose. The service was excellent and the staff is all great.
Ice cream is the best.. tin roof sundae, Rocky road, mint chocolate chip
You can buy fresh ice cream here before it hits the stores. My favorites include the tin roof sundae and black marble raspberry. There s a large variety to choose from. No scoops sold here, only by the gallon or larger. If you want to try the same ice cream by the scoop, go to Sweet Retreat.
It was so delicious. This place has a good atmosphere. Menu is similar to a restaurant in El Paso I liked.
The best ice cream you can try in the area. You can t go wrong with chocolate. It s busy with long lines sometimes but it s worth the wait.
Was looking for 3 single scoops, only available in quart and 3 gallon containers. A bit difficult to find the entrance and parking was limited. Didn't need 3 quarts.
Very nice ice cream with many choices. It is not expensive and location is good. Must visit if you want deserts. Perfect flavours, not too sweet and great prices.
Know this place more then 35 years
The best ice cream in California
Keep up the good work Bob.
This place has the best ice cream i have ever tasted
Excellent ice cream. Very creamy and not too sweet. Will only go here now that I know about it.
Found out about treat 20 years ago. Still the best ice cream I've ever had.
Great ice cream. Time of sale is inconvenient. You can buy their ice cream from lunardi's supermarket for the same price
Premium ice cream made on the premises. Seasonal flavors. Really nice staff. Bring cash. This is basically an outlet. You can't buy one scoop, but who'd want to?
i love going here. the staff was very welcoming and observant.
Kind of a hole in the wall, but fantastic ice cream! I took my kids here and we weren't disappointed. A ton of selections and each of our ice creams was delicious!
Excellent ice cream with numerous seasonal offerings
In one word this place is simply AWESOME! I highly recommend coming to get good quality ice cream at reasonable prices from the source.
I won't go into details regarding the flavors I like since people have different taste preferences. But in general, the ice cream is tasty and the texture is nice.
5 stars in my book
soooo amazing, yes they dont have a "store", no it totalllly doesnt matter they have been around forever and have a cult following
i cant wait to go back and get more i wish they had a few weekend hours but totally dont blame them I too love my weekends off!
Service is amazing every time i go in and talk to someone they are so nice and its always a pleasure
They even have spoons cause i can never make it outta the parking lot without a taste
Although the factory building is so older and smaller ,the ice cream is great !!! The Peanut Putter Cup isn't that I thought .There were some hard peanut puttet in chocolate. The Mango is my favorite,l recommend it to everyone.
A local San Jose ice cream factory. Their ice cream is really good in quality and so creamy. Love all the flavors I have tasted so far. Service is really good. More like family business.
My favorite is Tiger Tail and Chocolate Fantasy, best ice cream I've ever had in my life, I live near Tahoe and I drive all the way to Burlingame Lunardi's to get some and stuck up
Best ice cream in the Bay Area. I have been buying ice cream from this place since 1995. Fabulous! Coffee, mint chocolate chip, Mango and strawberry shortcake are my favorite flavors.
The Ice cream was delicious and the worker that helped take down my order was really nice I must say I recommend the flavors Burgundy Cherry and Ube
Great quality and taste! ! I lI've near them and buy frequently! !
Best ice cream brand in the South Bay, at least from the ones I've tried. Their fruit and berry flavors are especially good. The staff here is extremely friendly.
Notes:
1) cash only
2) entrance is a bit tough to find
Treat Ice Cream Co is usually packed during the evening with a line out the door, but if you're craving for ice cream it's worth the wait. Although the line looks long, many are there for the to-go, so you'll probably get seated within 10-15 minutes.
Treats is hands down the best ice cream you can find in San Jose, possibly the Bay Area. They have been running low on flavors lately, but for good reason. They use natural ingredients and it definitely tastes like it. It's not super well known to a lot of people, but you don't just give directions to a secret treasure like Treats to just anyone.
This place is hard to find. There is a small right turn, almost invisible , as soon as we enter 19th Street - right opposite wiernerschnitzel's parking lot. This place looks nothing like an ice cream shop but you'll be amazed at how awesome and fresh the ice creams are!
I made the mistake of not trying the ones I ordered and ended up disappointed with 3 of the 5 scoops. The Rosemary, Cafe au lait, and Basil were some of their more unique flavors, but turned out to be more watery than creamy. Surprisingly, what I enjoyed most was their more traditional flavors. The PB/chocolate was decadent and creamy, and the Chocolate sorbet was rich without being excessively sweet.
Hole in the wall but great ice cream! Order here regularly for the office events.
Great ice cream but closed to the public during pandemic. So sad.
Their Heath flavor is the best ice cream I have ever had. It us in a back alley, cash only, but worth every last penny. Thet sell in 1/2 gal and 3 gal containers!!!
