Really nice, friendly staff. Parking literally feet from the front door. Dr. Martin young and incredibly friendly. Only complaint is that I had a minor excision scheduled today and they called me this morning to say it hadn t been approved yet and put the onus on me of calling my medical group. ( They ll listen if it comes from you. ) What they left out was their NEGLIGENCE in submitting it for approval just TWO DAYS ago. The appointment had been made 2 weeks prior so there was plenty of time. It s fine (albeit frustrating) if a ball gets dropped. We re human. But the way you deal with it is putting it out there front and center and apologizing. Not telling the patient to call the medical group for you. And then having the medical group tell u the truth. It s like lying by omission to defer culpability, then having person #2 tell u the truth. Again, we re human. Just don t cover your mistakes and have me do your work for you. Own it and you ll garner respect.
The Worst experinced which I had!! They just care of you before visiting Dr. After that you have call them back and remind them a lot about your prescription situation. CARELESS, AWFUL AND AMATEUR receptions about customer care and prescriptions arrangment with pharmacy, after you leave the place. After more than 2 weeks, still they couldn t make an arrangement with a pharmacy for my prescription. Today they told me it is better you go to a Kaiser speciallist and ask your prescription from them!!! they don t answer my call any more. It is really weird and rude!!!! They just waste my time and energy to go there and visit pharmacys, because they told you they arranged, but when you go to collect your prescription, there is no arrangement from them.
I ll be back. The staff is very friendly and helpful...very nice PA and office staff. Although I did wait longer than I would like, I understand that things take longer now with changes due to COVID. Their friendliness made up for the wait.
Dr. Tien Nguyen is not only a fantastic dermatologist but an amazing person. He and his entire staff treated me with the upmost kindness and respect. I have been to both of his offices now in Fountain Valley and Irvine and could not be more impressed. Dr. Nguyen is knowledgable and takes the time to understand exactly what you need as a patient. I am so thankful for everything Dr. Nguyen has helped me with in my constant struggles with my skin... I don't post reviews often but I felt strongly about sharing just how impressed I am!
I was duped here at this office. I showed up for my first appointment and paid my co-pay. After a brief exam by a PA, I was scheduled again for surgery, which confused me. They assured me that my next appointment would be no cost since I already paid and waited until my next meeting. Upon arrival, the first thing the receptionist asked me for was MONEY! I advised her that the PA assured me that no fee would be collected, and after some push back, I decided to cut my losses and leave. Save yourself the trouble if you found this review because you checked your Oscar or healthcare app, go on to the next doctor, and do your homework. Go ahead and skip this one.
I went to the location at Von Karmen, Irvine. Dr. Tien was not there so I got the PA. One section of my rib was red and there was a swollen brown spot in the middle. She took a quick look and decided I was allergic to something and gave me an injection. I asked about the brown spot and she thought that was my old mark. And she kept asking 3 times if I am sure it is not my old mark. I just wonder if she knew my main reason I went to doctor for that mark only. I still have itching after 2 hours with injection, creme and a pill.
The office charged me for visiting a specialist and the PA came and gave me prescription!! I had to ask that I want see the doctor ! Never go back again!.
I have been very happy with the treatment and service I receive from the Dr. and his staff.
I went to this clinic located in Irvine expecting that they will help me resolve my acne/pimple problem. I keep going back and forth for follow up check up and keep prescribing antibiotics (both topical and pills) but nothing happen, the problem remain unresolved. Antibiotic for more than 3 months. I don't see a dermatalologist but always a physician assistant.
Incorrect diagnosis and chaotic billing. I do not recommend to go there.
Went for my first visit to Dr. Nguyen today and was very pleased. Needed to have a spot on my face evaluated for skin cancer. Staff and PA very knowledgeable and friendly. Met Dr. briefly as he examined my face. Feel comfortable going back for biopsy and further care.
I have chronic psoriasis (head to toe ) and they have really good treatments for it such as the laser, samples of meds, and lotions. I see the PAs more than the doctor but the PAs are just as helpful and knowledgeable as the doctor. The front desk is also very nice.
Best Dermatology center in the world! After only two months of treatment, my psoriasis cleared! They truly have a dedicated and welcoming staff! If you have chance go and check them out!!!!
Walked in for an appointment at 2 with dr N they took me back around 2:15 then nothing was professional at all. The girl came in rush rush rush didn t look at me just started insisting she was rushing because of time issues? Told at the front desk that I was going to see a PA not the doctor. I told her the dr. PA came in told me nothing so I said antibiotic and ointment? Ok I will send a script then waited for the dr after 45 mins total time being there I walked out saw all the girls just standing around not working tons of them they made excuses and I walked out, absolutely horrible unprofessional office. Don t go there.
