I ordered over the phone from this florist for the first time today because I had a special request. Usually, i am hesitant to order flowers over the phone or online because I ve had bad experiences in the past. I took a chance today because someone very special to me is in the hospital. Less than two hours after I placed my order, the flowers were delivered!! The flowers are beautiful!! I would highly recommend this florist and I would order from them again!

I now understand why this place has perfect reviews... because they DESERVE perfect reviews! Thank you so much for being so flexible and accommodating with our flower delivery request! Very Punctual and well organized company for delivery services. Most impressed with the versatile payment options and exceptional help and service over the phone. Visiting from San Francisco US we found this charming flower shop near our families house, as we were looking for a celebration arrangement. Their flowers were delightfully arranged and the customer service was as if we had known them for years. The arrangement we purchased got so many compliments. I noticed this little shop when I moved in to this neighborhood 3 years ago. I went there for getting my lottery tickets from time to time but they stopped selling the ticket a while ago. My father passed away on 7/30 and the first place I could think of for his funeral floral arrangement is this little shop just 2 blocks away from my place. Laurie did a wonderful job for all the arrangements I ordered and she even fulfilled my last minute order of 3 dozen red roses for the guests to pay the last respects to my father. Thank you so much Laurie for everything you have done for my father.

Laurie and Peter did an amazing job at our wedding this past weekend! They did the all the flowers for our ceremony and reception as well as create and coordinate the itinerary for the reception. Although we were running behind schedule they were able to adapt and adjust to keep the flow of the night going. They worked extremely well with our DJ/MC and photographers.

Laurie and her squad continue to outdo themselves! As someone who regularly purchases flowers for clients, I m generally very picky with my arrangements and often feel overcharged for the quality and care. This is definitely not the case with Heart Company as I can easily say they re the best value in town and could definitely be charging more (pls don t... lol) Always impressived and highly recommended!

One of the best experiences I ve enjoyed over any holiday season, was shopping at The Heart Company in Dec. 20. It was a joy working with my main contact who went the extra mile, during a global pandemic, making sure a gift basket was extra special. Absolutely amazing experience! I made an order for my friend who lives in Burnaby. As I am not from this area, I was browsing on the internet and came across Laurie s website. I spoke to her few times on the phone to finalize my order. I had a wonderful conversation with her and I did not worry at all! She was on top of everything and even went extra mile but helping me with text sequence messages. My friend absolutely loved her flower bouquets! Thanks to Laurie and her team, our wedding decor looked amazing and coordination on the day off, really made us focus on our guests! We are so glad the decor turned out the way we wanted (chair covers were not exactly the one we imagined), but They took care of it all. Great little hidden gem near Burnaby Hospital. This is not your traditional chicken and waffles; it's more like chicken karaage in waffle cones. The chicken is juicy and flavourful, and the waffle cone balances out the flavor without being too filling. They are $6 each, and come in several different flavors. Note: they operate out of the flower shop (which also sells gelato by the way), and there are only 4 patio chairs for seating.

Wonderfully friendly service, and a surprisingly good selection for an independant 'corner store'. I live in the neighborhood, and come here regularly for snacks and basic groceries. I love having stores like this in the area.

I needed some flowers delivered for a funeral in Burnaby. They sent me a picture of what they made, which was nice, but not exactly what I had in mind. They took my feedback seriously, and added blue flowers to make the bouquet even more awesome. Really great service for an out of town client!

Great gem that I found, with great selection flower arrangements. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

They should move the fridge room for cut flowers somewhere else. It s hiding all the beautiful plants behind. The shop just looks like a regular corner store but it s a totally different story when you walk in.

I've purchased a number of succulents from the Heart Company. The owners do a fantastic job creating fantastic arrangements. I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for any kind of floral or plant decor. Great prices, excellent service. I even got some free plant food once!

Just picked up a BUNCH of reasonably priced plants and flowers! Very helpful staff and great selection of plants and miscellanea. Don't pay for overpriced plants at home depot or canadian tire, support local!! Definitely going back soon :)

My go to place for flowers. Such a nice little place and the owners are the best.

I initially inquired with The Heart Company for my wedding florals but later found out that they also provide wedding decor/planning services. I went with their day of coordination package and have absolutely no regrets. Laurie knew the vision I had for my decor and I let her do her thing and she absolutely killed it.

They did everything from the delivery of flowers, decor at both venues, as well as coordinating with my vendors and ensuring the whole day went as smoothly as possible.

I am not one to write reviews but The Heart Company exceeded my expectations and my wedding wouldn't have been the same if it wasn't for their amazing team.

The little floral arrangement that I purchased was carefully packaged to arrive home in one piece. It is sitting on the table looking beautiful. Today I made a purchase at your Metropolis location. Such care was not taken. I arrived home with my Air plant jumbled with the contents of the glass tear drop it originally came in.

I have been here a few times with and without my family and have liked everything from the flower arrangements to the gelato ice cream to the food (such as chicken and waffles). Convenient location.

Definitely worth coming back to for various things.

Love swinging by this shop for all my floral and snacking needs. The owners Laurie and Peter are so personable and lovely to chat with. The arrangements they make are one of a kind from bouquets to terrariums - there is literally something for everyone. They also have a DIY terrarium section in the back with a book of examples if you're not the super creative type. They also have these AMAZING chicken and waffles and tons of different flavours. I can't stop raving about this place - you guys need to check it out :)
