What could you not love about this place? It's is a gem of a place. Staff are lovely and the locals are great.. Set in a most amazing location between Crawley & Horsham. Big thanks to the staff and locals for looking after two teenagers that got lost... Thank you

The pub is a little gem although on this occasion we went to visit the new tea room which was very nice. There is a quiet garden area although it was too wet on the day we went. The new owners are putting on street food on some Friday nights and it looks like there is a great buzz about the place.

My wife and I went for some lunch and all the tables in the cafe part where full or reserved but we found a table in the bar area. The service was good, we waited only about 5 mins although it was full. The staff where pleasant and the price reasonable.

Used to go to this place years ago when it was straight forward pub and it was great then. So pleased to see it is still very good. Lovely country pub with the plus side of having a tea room attached. The sandwiches are absolutely loaded, none of your tiny slice of cheese and tired limp lettuce here. The cakes are also pretty damn fine.

Yum

This is a lovely little pub and so good that it didn't fade into oblivion like so many other country pubs. A great tearoom which I have been to several times and in the summer you can do a circular walk up over the hill, either visiting before or after your walk.

Excellent pub and tearooms.

You can sit inside or enjoy the lovely big garden with plenty of seating. Peaceful place to enjoy either a drink or something to eat.

A proper country pub. Vintage vehicles often outside at weekends.

Popular with cyclists and dog friendly. Stunning views from fantastic beer gardens. Truly picturesque. Haven't found a better country pub for a sunny afternoon.

Ploughmans Scott egg version was a huge let down. Salad was turning black and portion size was small. The worst ploughmans I have ever had. There was an awful wasp problem in the gardens but the gardens are nice. The cakes were amazing.
