Great customer service mind which I appreciate. However, sometimes I get really irritated by some people who don t have any respect to library collections and others around them at all.

Thankful for the drive through service while we are social distancing
The play area for little kids is seriously amazing and FREE. Love that there's a little area for babies as well. Will definitely be back soon! They also have separate areas throughout the children's library with other activities, some for older kids. (Play area is 5 and under).
A fantastic library, great selection, and really helps young readers to get interested in reading!
Very organized, nice staff for kids to read and play!
We love this library. The staff is friendly and helpful. There's a large children's section on the second floor. The fourth "adult" floor is especially pleasurable, and an excellent place to read... very picturesque with a vaulted wood high ceiling, and nice views of the surrounding area. It would make a good filming location. Easily a 5 star rating.
[Unfortunately the city has decided it needs this space for administrative offices. The library will be completely relocated down the tollway to a flat one-story building. This seems like one of the worst city planning decisions in history.]
Wonderful library, some events going on each time I visited. Kids love this place too!!
I actually love coming here with my kids and doing homework after school it is very quiet and peaceful but the only reason why I gave them a four-star is because I feel a little bit of racism since I am Indian.
Maybe I am being insecure but is the way I feel every time I go there they woman looks at me like I am different versus the other way she treats others.
Always very helpful staff and the location is great!
Wonderful Story Time for kids! Very interactive, good play area and the children's books are well organized. So much nicer than what I imagined a public library would be!
Love this library, a great place to sit down and study. There are some renovations/construction going on so it s been a bit more noisy than usual. Something to keep in mind for visitors!
Great selection of books, audio books and DVDs. Helpful staff and located at Frisco square.
This used to be my family's favorite place to go. It was a joy to browse for hidden gems among the shelves.
Sadly, We no longer find it so. Now, when I show up, I feel like an intruder. Once inside, i feel like a prisoner or felon with every move watched. The second floor is not even opened to adults to browse for their children. I can't leave fast enough and feel like I am escaping. People are no longer encouraged to read and enjoy the library.
This is a sad turn of events for this place. We have decided this is no longer a place that want or promotes the joy of books and definitely not a place for enjoyment.
I love books so we will seek our books elsewhere from now on.
Very nice library with lots of children books and useful learning media. It would be awesome if there is more DVDs.
Love this library. Such a nice and friendly environment and great quite facilities to study and do your homework. Missing the old days , waiting for covid-19 to over and go back this amazing place again.
Great selection and features up to date technology. The staff are very helpful and customer service is great. Very busy library. The kids section is very noisy most of the time which doesn't bother us since we don't linger here for very long.
Great my first time coming there before I went to Cinemark to watch a movie
Has a great variety of books and is very clean and organized.
Second floor is nice. Kids love it, nice selection of books
Clean and organized! And such helpful and friendly librarians!
The librarians are so hands on! They take the public library to whole new level of interactive adventure!
Wonderful and very supportive staff. The first best experience after relocating from CA SF to Frisco (The Frisco Public Library). Nice collection of books. Very organized and easy to find. Beautiful location, just walk around after Library visit.
Perfect for students with ADHD. I have ADHD and with learning being virtual it has been extra hard for me to focus. The cubicles are the perfect environment for someone like me. They are comfy, sheltered, and away from distractions. I have never been able to study as well as I have here.
i like it just they changed some stuff i didn't like
This building just like most building in Frisco city make the city very iconic
Great selection. Staff is rather loud talking amongst themselves
Excellent place.I loved its notary service, it is very useful.
thnaks
A "maker space" complete with 3D printing, huge children area with lots of activities. A dedicated teens area, and computers. Free Wi-Fi.
Best library I ve been to in years. Highly recommend.
Staff are helpful and not rude and super organized also have really good movies and books
Very nice. Competent staff. We ll organised and arranged. My daughter s favourite hang out. She loves the book selection as well as the media one. Thank goodness for this library.
The children s librarian was rude to me and my kids. I went ahead and checked out some books anyway. A while later, I received an email notifying me that the books were overdue. I called about 5 days later to renew them. The lady on the phone said that she couldn t help me. The books were already SO overdue, that she couldn t renew over the phone. Really??? 5 days? I will never use this library again. Terrible customer service.
Always awesome. Well thought-out space. Kids floor has a great play area modeled around a train engine. Upstairs 4th floor has great high ceiling & nice view
Always love this library. Great selection and friendly people.
Awesome selection of books and the perfect place to study, work and or just relax due its very peaceful atmosphere!
Excellent clean, well organized library. Love going there!!
4th floor is the quietest place for studying or reading. 2nd level is a lovely kids area
Nice facility friendly staff
Good selection, beautiful building, the right environment to get work done but also to just relax and enjoy a good book. I haven't discovered the time of day when all of the private study cubicles are NOT taken, but I'll keep trying. Maybe they can try to incorporate more study seating or laptop tables on the regular chairs...Love this library.
Big library and very friendly staff. They reopen the play area for toddlers (5 years or younger). I like their DVD collection. And they have 3-D printers!
I love the 4th floor. It would be better if there is more tables.
Great selection, extremely neat and organized. All the staff are sweet and helpful.
Super helpful staff and a wonderful place to study. I love the large windows with a great view of the square, as well. This is one of my favorite libraries ever!
perfect ambience/environment to get work done. I especially like the 4th floor study area which is quite and has ample seating area.
So I am on the fourth floor of the library yesterday (This is the quiet study / reading / etc. floor) and I am working on my laptop. The person across from me starts pulling out multiple plastic food containers. I was waiting for a bottle of wine to show up out of the bag to go with the 4 course meal. I am trying to concentrate and all I hear for an hour is crunching noises and lips smacking. So, today I am located somewhere else on the fourth floor and I put my computer bag down on the table and I didn't notice a giant glob of sticky food mess on the table. My computer bag is now ruined. That is the last time I am coming here. Apparently this is a library / restaurant, a new concept I guess. Apparently the staff doesn't care, so I am out of here.
2nd floor children area is closed . But the staff was very nice, she helped go upstairs find the books we need. All books are very clean and well maintained.
Amazing place. A place where their is peace . I have a 8 week old daughter and I was allowed to bring her with me to the adult floor to use the computer for mandatory college assignments . No one complained. All you see is hard working people every where reading writing working towards a goal in life . Lots of resources . I am homeless right now and I even have a chance for housing voucher due to just asking human resources a question. Needless to say The library is a place you should always bring your kids to . Lead them in the right direction . So many opportunities . I love Frisco Public Library.
Good book selection and the kids LOVED story hour! Had trouble locating the Mary-Kate and Ashley movies but the staff helped point us in the right direction.
I love this library. The staff is super helpful and reliable. Great facility. I wish that I had more time to drop by.
So much fun for young children! My friend and I take our 2 & 3 year olds for storytime, and to play in the explorer train area. Educational and make-believe play things inside! Well organized library displays like board book sections.
Awesome place to study. Everything is very well organized. Place is really clean and Calm. I always come here for my studies. Few group study rooms. A big Quite Hall for reading. Lots of Digital and physical books and movies to read and watch. Public computers are available and always get books for a rent.
I take kids here almost every week, and its been part of our routine now. Love the place and variety of books and other materials. We always met lovely smiling faces and that makes it visit little more joyful.
So much books that it is 10 times the size of school libraries! So many books to choose!
We love the Frisco library! The librarians are so knowledgeable, helpful, and great with kids!
Came in today to return the kids overdue books. The lady was extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you so much.
Great place, very clean and super friendly staff. 4th floor is ideal for studying in a quiet place. Computers are available with library card or as a guest (guest codes are at the central desk)
I was highly upset because the people who frequent the library don't have proper library etiquette and the library workers don't either (lady wearing tye dye shirt, with brown hair 06/14/19). I was trying to concentrate on a very important test and they were extremely loud. I would not expect that from someone who works there. Guess I'll find another library because I didn't expect this from nice place like this.
A very good library with nice staff and collection. Love story telling kids play area
Excellent for children. My four month old loves the Babies and Books class on Wednesday mornings.
A wonderful library!
The children's section on the 2nd floor has an excellent selection of books. They also have an interactive train play area for 5 and under, puppet areas and other rotating interactive stations for older kids.
There are a variety of learning stations and computers at various locations.
Their ebook inventory is always increasing and patrons can suggest new acquisitions
This is one of my favorite libraries in North Texas. I love the area it's located in, how the library itself is laid out regarding genres, etc. So, I definitely recommend visit the Frisco Public Library whether you're young, old, or somewhere in between.
Still a mecca for folks improving themselves. (Biased review note, I wrote the business plan for this version of the library in the late 90s).
Really appreciate their services and now they extended their arms with Lynda teaching support.
It is a great program.
Great support staff
Good service, great for working or studying because it's so peaceful.
I love it here. They have gone above and beyond (especially during COVID times) to be friendly and attentive to patron needs. Anytime I have called or gone in person with a question, I'm met with such a positive associate.
There always seem to be a variety of programs and things to do that would are great programs for kids and adults. I look forward to exploring these more once COVID is over.
With COVID, they have taken great precaution so that they're patrons can still have the joy of reading through these trying times. I especially love the addition of the curbside pickup. Thank you for keeping me safe, and entertained!
The staff is absolutely amazing, so kind and helpful! Beautiful facility, too.
I had the pleasure of stopping by the Library today and signed up for a card! The app is very easy to use and everyone is exceptionally sweet! Particularly Mrs. Jennifer and Ms. Amy who was exceptional at showing me The library is sanitized and is heavily compliant on protocol. Make sure to stop by and say .
So many books, check out is easy, and the staff is helpful.
I have visited libraries all over the world... #NerdLife. I visited here last weekend with my daughter looking for Law School books for her. We've been a fan of this library for years, since she was a toddler. This has to be one of the finest public libraries in the country. They are progressive about learning for all ages. There were even people checking out science projects and travel projects. We found a few books to check out -- audiobooks and hard cover books. We also purchased a few books from their "for sale" section for $1 each. The Customer Service help people we encountered were the best. I should have taken some pictures, but it's a library, a very very very excellent library. You should go and take your own pictures. They have exceptional PPE practices.
It was so loud in here I had to leave and go some place else. I thought libraries were supposed to be QUIET!
Was here for car registration in the collin tax collection office. The experience was pleasant. Social distancing and there were enough counters to cater!
