The play area for little kids is seriously amazing and FREE. Love that there's a little area for babies as well. Will definitely be back soon! They also have separate areas throughout the children's library with other activities, some for older kids. (Play area is 5 and under).

We love this library. The staff is friendly and helpful. There's a large children's section on the second floor. The fourth "adult" floor is especially pleasurable, and an excellent place to read... very picturesque with a vaulted wood high ceiling, and nice views of the surrounding area. It would make a good filming location. Easily a 5 star rating.

[Unfortunately the city has decided it needs this space for administrative offices. The library will be completely relocated down the tollway to a flat one-story building. This seems like one of the worst city planning decisions in history.]

I actually love coming here with my kids and doing homework after school it is very quiet and peaceful but the only reason why I gave them a four-star is because I feel a little bit of racism since I am Indian.
Maybe I am being insecure but is the way I feel every time I go there they woman looks at me like I am different versus the other way she treats others.

This used to be my family's favorite place to go. It was a joy to browse for hidden gems among the shelves.
Sadly, We no longer find it so. Now, when I show up, I feel like an intruder. Once inside, i feel like a prisoner or felon with every move watched. The second floor is not even opened to adults to browse for their children. I can't leave fast enough and feel like I am escaping. People are no longer encouraged to read and enjoy the library.
This is a sad turn of events for this place. We have decided this is no longer a place that want or promotes the joy of books and definitely not a place for enjoyment.
I love books so we will seek our books elsewhere from now on.

Great selection and features up to date technology. The staff are very helpful and customer service is great. Very busy library. The kids section is very noisy most of the time which doesn't bother us since we don't linger here for very long.

Perfect for students with ADHD. I have ADHD and with learning being virtual it has been extra hard for me to focus. The cubicles are the perfect environment for someone like me. They are comfy, sheltered, and away from distractions. I have never been able to study as well as I have here.

The children s librarian was rude to me and my kids. I went ahead and checked out some books anyway. A while later, I received an email notifying me that the books were overdue. I called about 5 days later to renew them. The lady on the phone said that she couldn t help me. The books were already SO overdue, that she couldn t renew over the phone. Really??? 5 days? I will never use this library again. Terrible customer service.

Good selection, beautiful building, the right environment to get work done but also to just relax and enjoy a good book. I haven't discovered the time of day when all of the private study cubicles are NOT taken, but I'll keep trying. Maybe they can try to incorporate more study seating or laptop tables on the regular chairs...Love this library.

So I am on the fourth floor of the library yesterday (This is the quiet study / reading / etc. floor) and I am working on my laptop. The person across from me starts pulling out multiple plastic food containers. I was waiting for a bottle of wine to show up out of the bag to go with the 4 course meal. I am trying to concentrate and all I hear for an hour is crunching noises and lips smacking. So, today I am located somewhere else on the fourth floor and I put my computer bag down on the table and I didn't notice a giant glob of sticky food mess on the table. My computer bag is now ruined. That is the last time I am coming here. Apparently this is a library / restaurant, a new concept I guess. Apparently the staff doesn't care, so I am out of here.

Amazing place. A place where their is peace . I have a 8 week old daughter and I was allowed to bring her with me to the adult floor to use the computer for mandatory college assignments . No one complained. All you see is hard working people every where reading writing working towards a goal in life . Lots of resources . I am homeless right now and I even have a chance for housing voucher due to just asking human resources a question. Needless to say The library is a place you should always bring your kids to . Lead them in the right direction . So many opportunities . I love Frisco Public Library.

I was highly upset because the people who frequent the library don't have proper library etiquette and the library workers don't either (lady wearing tye dye shirt, with brown hair 06/14/19). I was trying to concentrate on a very important test and they were extremely loud. I would not expect that from someone who works there. Guess I'll find another library because I didn't expect this from nice place like this.

A wonderful library!

A wonderful library!
The children's section on the 2nd floor has an excellent selection of books. They also have an interactive train play area for 5 and under, puppet areas and other rotating interactive stations for older kids.

There are a variety of learning stations and computers at various locations.

Their ebook inventory is always increasing and patrons can suggest new acquisitions

This is one of my favorite libraries in North Texas. I love the area it's located in, how the library itself is laid out regarding genres, etc. So, I definitely recommend visit the Frisco Public Library whether you're young, old, or somewhere in between.

I love it here. They have gone above and beyond (especially during COVID times) to be friendly and attentive to patron needs. Anytime I have called or gone in person with a question, I'm met with such a positive associate.

There always seem to be a variety of programs and things to do that would are great programs for kids and adults. I look forward to exploring these more once COVID is over.

With COVID, they have taken great precaution so that they're patrons can still have the joy of reading through these trying times. I especially love the addition of the curbside pickup. Thank you for keeping me safe, and entertained!

I had the pleasure of stopping by the Library today and signed up for a card! The app is very easy to use and everyone is exceptionally sweet! Particularly Mrs. Jennifer and Ms. Amy who was exceptional at showing me The library is sanitized and is heavily compliant on protocol. Make sure to stop by and say .

I have visited libraries all over the world... #NerdLife. I visited here last weekend with my daughter looking for Law School books for her. We've been a fan of this library for years, since she was a toddler. This has to be one of the finest public libraries in the country. They are progressive about learning for all ages. There were even people checking out science projects and travel projects. We found a few books to check out -- audiobooks and hard cover books. We also purchased a few books from their "for sale" section for $1 each. The Customer Service help people we encountered were the best. I should have taken some pictures, but it's a library, a very very very excellent library. You should go and take your own pictures. They have exceptional PPE practices.
