The reviews are TRUE. Awful customer service! The security guards provided more customer service than the actual employees! I called ahead to see if they had any Louis Vuitton backpacks for sale. I was put on hold for 7 minutes so the gal could go check. Another gal got on the phone and asked me what she could help me with...I told her that another gal was checking on a backpack for me. She put me on hold again for another 5 min. Finally she told me that they had one backpack. Idk why it took so long? Um the place isn t that big...

So I finally get to the store. I went straight to the Louis section and looked around for employees to help me. Nobody greeted me besides the security guard. There were two guys sitting in the back of the store doing nothing, just looking around (They were two white guys wearing black shirts, they were not security guards, they were employees). I made eye contact with one of them figuring that he would walk over to me and help me. Welp he didn t! I wish I could get paid to sit around and do nothing! HA! I stood around like an idiot for 7minutes and then I just walked out. I told the security guard on the way out thank you but they just lost my business! It would ve been a different scenario if I walked in and one of the employees told me I ll be right with you but NOBODY did. I am a very successful woman and was not about to wait around like a dummy. Time is money, I m sure the owner is aware of this too. I was prepared to buy a Louis Vuitton backpack...cash in hand....and because nobody acknowledged me for 7 minutes, I left. I will NEVER come back here and neither should anyone else. Horrible customer service and they will waste your time.

Natalie was very helpful. Bought some premium purses at great price. Very helpful and pacticent. Didn't make me feel rushed. Staff members keeping store clean and wiping everything down during visit. Appreciate excellent customer service. Several people shopping i noticed were very rude but all staff handling them in professional manner.

It was a very wonderful experience a salesman met me at the door walk me through the store explained everything and every process to me allowed me to shop and purchase items with no pressure I walked in to look at a few junk silver coins and walked out with $4000 worth of silver bullion my salesman s name was Manuel I just want to give him five stars for customer service and information I was working in the area so I decided to stop by so much better than my local shops

Well this place is super awesome!!! I've layawayed a ring here and let me say they truly care about their customers..They gave me 90 days to pay it off..well unfortunately..I've been laid off from work, and they weren't one of these companies who say well to bad we have a store policy and can't help you.NO!!! they understand.. what's great customer service.. (What's great customer service if a store hides behind policy) Well not this place they go above and beyond Fresno coin gallery is awesome.. .we can give you more time to pay it off is what I was told ..well they earned a life long customer...

I use to take my jewelry to McKinley but I was getting tired of having to call a week a head for them to find my jewelry. Unlike here they keep the jewelry onsite with an easy pick up at anytime. Fresno Coin Gallery is so wonderful to work with. Their security guard Andre helped us unload our car, and Drew was diligent, kind, patient and helpful while going through the possessions we wanted to get rid of. I highly recommend them. Everyone was incredibly friendly and it was such a safe environment. We will be returning.

Always gave me a fair price on a loan when I needed it the most. Took very good care of my cherished items and explained every thing I did not understand and really took time with me on several occasions when I was in a pinch. I highly recommend them for honesty and accountability.

I have been going there for many years and they have always been wonderful and helpful with anything I have ever needed.

If i had to option to give zero stars i would. There are better coin dealer out there but this one is not one of them.

This place is a joke! I took in a 2 carat diamond (center stone) ring set in platinum to sell. It was appraised 15 years ago at $9,000.00; they offered me $1,100.00. I paid more than that for the ring without the center stone!

Super friendly, spent time explaining coins to me even though I wasn't spending more than $20. Great selection of old used coins, and coin collecting supplies. Sad that they are closed during COVID-19. Can't wait until they reopen.

They sold me a louis purse that was not authentic in the least bit. And when I bought I believe I got a 100 discount from what you could buy in store. This purse was so fake it cracked material blistered and they tried to say it was me now let me tell you I have other louis and not one has ever done a NY of these. The stamp on handle dias p eared, the brass faded, it cracked. Even the store it's ld a a I'd it was a fake. I still have my first d & b purse brass did not fade. Coach Calvin Klein brass does not fade paid 1500 for a fake and they woukdnt d o anything about, so honestly by from the store the 200 discount u s nt worth it. So disappointed,

Only fair place to buy and sell gold/silver in Fresno that I'm aware of. Someone below called them "low ballers". They pay spot. Nothing low ball about that. Find anywhere in Fresno that does that including eBay. I don't work for them.

My wife and I went in for a jewelry repair. Talked to Roxanne (aka Rocky) and Jesus. Their care and concern for my wife's jewerly you could tell was genuine. Then we got to meet Stephen the owner, He too was also very caring and genuine. To sum it all up. I strongly recommend doing business at their company. Great selection of items through out the show room. I went in to look at watches to add to my collection. Waited for about 15 mins and no one helped me. Seems to be a lot of younger people working here which I don't have a problem with but I did have multiple workers look at me next to the watches but didn't offer to help me. Not sure if it because I am a younger guy but I wanted to a buy a Rolex they had in the counter which I know seems odd for my age. They definitely lost a sale today and I shall go elsewhere to spend money.

I initially left a negative review on a watch that was scratched during a visit to this location. After talking with the owner and working on a solution, I am very pleased with this place and their practices. They chose to make it right and fix the issue. Therefor I will be buying more items from here. Thank you

The Fresno Coin Gallery is closed on Sundays Monday through Friday they are opened from 9 a.m. to 5:30p.m. Saturday they are open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The employees at the coin gallary are very knowledgeable and courteous. I trust the coin gallary with my jewelry and knowing that they will give me a fair price on my loans. I especially appreciate that they photograph items so that if it is ever stolen the police have somewhere to go for a description and a picture of your jewelry.

I had started taking one of my rings here to get it cleaned probably beginning of this year and have come back since. I trust this place. My grandmother told me she took her mother's ring to a jewelry store in Madera ( I won't mention which one ) for a stone replacement and they were going to charge her $300, I had to bring her to Fresno Coin Gallery.
Sure enough, they let us know that her ring was not repairable. ( too much to mention ) Cheryl brought over another girl to explain this to my grandmother in Spanish, which I appreciated. We ended up finding a replacement ring for her and another Coach purse for me :). The purses are great! The jewelry is on point, my watches have been fixed there too. Happy Mother s Day! I m waiting now for my one and only beautiful daughter! Please look up your assistant manager s name as I don t have it with me. She helped me with selling some pieces of gold. She was so very patient, attentive & kind. She took her time with me even though we were still sitting there at closing. She was very personable & made me feel important. Yesterday i came to this please hava two Bulova watches pricess $300 a piece and the guy was so rude he tolde me " we dont buy watches i said i don't want to sale them i just want to pawn them and he said no those watches are not valuable may someone alse can give you $30 dlls for both i fill so bad an sad he couldn't say so ,he can say we don't do watches thats all. More i really hate the way to told me that so RUDE AND DESPECTIVE that's horrible!!

They rip people off. I brought in a box of sterling silverware. They offered me 10 bucks for the whole set. And it was a large set. I left angry. Went to another pawn shop and got $400 dollars for the whole thing. Dumb punk kid thought he could rip me off. And to find out all the 4 and 5 star reviews are from their family and friends. They are schemers. And they've been doing it for yrs.

Quality Gold coins only negative comment I have is the salesperson neglected to mention if you purchase $1500 or more in gold you need not pay sales tax. I purchased a 1 oz. coin and if I would have been informed during my visit I would have purchased another at that time, not only saving me some of my hard earned money but they would have made another $1250 too.

This was the first time I had ever gone to a pawnshop and it was a great experience. Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. Daniel and Kenya were the two people who helped me and they were patient and kind and professional.

Horrible store. I went in a year and a half ago spent more than 1.3K in coins they assured me had numismatic value and would serve as a good hedge against inflation. I then go in earlier this week only to be offered less than 35% of what I spent. I bought a Carson city Morgan in a GSA plus case and paperwork for $250 it still had the barcode they used to sell it and they offered me $160... this is the reason I will never buy gold or silver coins again. The hobby is dying off because of shops like this that when times get hard they low ball people in need. I only bought from this place and they told me they buy based off of eBay lowest sold price... this is how you treat loyal customers? Since then I sold my coins on eBay for far more than they offered. I now only invest in bitcoin and have recovered my losses. Never again. Keep in mind spot price was with the purchase price a year ago within cents of current spot price and they still offered less than 35%. What really got me was they offered me $160 for my GSA cc Morgan but showcased one for sale for over $600 same year same grade.... I couldn t believe they 1 lied to me about retaining value and 2 lowballed me so bad so as to maximize profit for them. During the pandemic when people need the money this is absolutely unacceptable. Here s a picture of what they quoted me for the coins I only purchased from them.

Took 4 Louie Vuitton items in to be looked at (ALL AUTHENTIC), I knew going in I wasn't going to get dollar for dollar what I paid for but when they took my items back to be looked at, researched and priced then came and told me what they would give me, it was laughable only because I know they would send them to their sister company Scepter and Sash and sell for double or even triple what they wanted togive me. I took my items and left. I'll gladly sell on my own for MY price.

Not always the fastest place to buy things but decent prices. And sorry they don't pay a lot for used. Jewelry is a rip off. Always good to check spot price before you go for rounds. Sometimes better to buy off line because of sales tax. Most online need $100 minum purchase to cover shipping.

If you have gold to sell, don t go here. Go to NW corner of First and Tulare ave. The travel agent place in the same strip as uncle toms. The guy in there will always beat everyone else s price per gram. The best by far. As for the coin gallery... it s mostly sketchy. The truth is what you get for your items depends greatly on who you get to help you. One day I was offered $100 for a gold chain (and turned it down), only to find myself back there the next day and a different worker offered me $180. Some people in there are actually pleasant to do business with. Others are shady, a few are straight up despicable.

Love the fact that all the staff were wearing mask super Covid-19 complaint. As for the staff member helping me and my partner Tony Aguilar he was super friendly and super helpful. He took the measurements to take my necklace and pendant in to get it cleaned looked super great after. My partner had questions about buying silver coins and he was really informative with guiding her to get the best and right silver coins. Just all out great sales/customer service best believe I will be a returning customer !!

great store they seem to have every coin there is,at least to me. I just started collecting and love to go there but the thing that bothers me is that they treat me like I'm not worth their time.I don't go in there and spend 100's of dollars at a time nor have I sold any jewelry or coins to them so they can profit but over the last 6 months I've probably spent around 400.00 I don't want to be treated special but my business had better be appreciated and I don't think that they do .I would go there more but I just don't like that feeling that their doing me a favor by letting me in the door so I can waste their time on a 10 or 20 dollar purchase

I see my review is gone. If the owner would like to take me to court and address my claim that my nearly $14,000.00 diamond was switched in the Visalia store, I'd show up. He has stated he will sue me for defamation of character. I am prepared to testify under oath.

I went in with with three handbags in excellent condition. 2 MK and 1 Lucky Brand. They said they pay on condition of the bag. She goes and talks to manager and offers me 50.00 for both of MK which value 600.00 and was interested in Lucky Bag! I was insulted! One was brand new and one was bought end of February. This place is a rip off. Just sell your gold and silver to JM Bullion. You ll get 15-25% more. No you're not you paid me just over $25 for Silver Eagles that I could have sold to JM bullion for $32 a coin. I did not know at the time that it was an option. You ripped me off.

If I could rate negative stars I would. Every single time I go into this place some young punk, know it all, I've been doing this for 6 years and can tell me my diamond isn't a diamond without using a jeweler's loop or a diamond tester insults my intelligence. Sad thing is management condones this behavior. I still have a couple of loans that I pay the interest on. If I can ever pay these loans off I will never, ever step foot in this business ever again!

Used to have the greatest service. At one time highly professional. Today I was treated like I was at the DMV. After being a customer for 8 years and driving all the way from Visalia I don't think I'll return again. Very sad.

They pay by weight just the same as every other pawn shop...if your going to get paid by weight Deans is a better pay out. But i take mine to private buyer, pays way more than any pawnshop
