I have eaten in many places but this has been the best presentation very rich food very clean and good portions 100% recommended

A ton of improvements made over the years, this is a great zoo. The new Africa exhibit is world class!

Great place to walk aerpijd and enjoy the different exhibits. The price is reasonable and the sights are many. Highly recommend good walking shoes. Great number of chairs and benches to take a seat. Lots if things to do for the little ones. Recommend clearing your calendar for the day and getting an early start to avoid the parking issues. Easy to find off the freeway and the staff are phenomenal. Truly professional knowledgeable and courteous. Thank you Fresno Zoo!

This Zoo is amazing! And it just keeps on getting better! After Prop Z past they started renovating everything. There will soon be an "African Safari" type area as well, when they take over about 20 acres of land from the surrounding park. It should be an incredible sight to see when it opens!

Love the zoo, dog park needs some shade and restrooms in the area need to be cleaned more frequently

this place has improved tremendously. it's nice and entree price is reasonable. the food is also really good, a bit pricey but good. definitely recommended for family.

Feeding the giraffes was the best. The cafe was also awesome. Eating while watching the animals roam.

It is a beautiful place that is worth visiting, the animals are very well cared for, the space is very clean, the employees with excellent treatment

Wonderful time for the price of a movie ticket you could see a huge selection of animals big and small! You must go to the sea lion show! It's done twice a day so get there early!!

Great Zoo to take the kids to. Newly added animals make it the best zoo for miles.

Worth the time and money to check out this zoo. It s right off the freeway, and huge parking lot but may need to walk a while to get inside the zoo. It s located within the Roeding Park so a gate fee is assessed upon entering. The exhibits are well kept and there are plenty of species to see while you re here. The African safari area is very well done and really immerses you in the atmosphere. Be sure to wear comfy walking shoes and bring plenty of water bottles!

Knowledgeable zoo keepers always around and love to chat and share their knowledge. I love the open no cage African exhibition. Just a great place to visit!

Such a beautiful zoo. We had a blast. Definitely a place to bring your family.

Currently many exibits under construction. They have additional charges to get in to see parts of the zoo after you paid at the gate to enter. Gets pricy for families, but great for the kids.

As always we loved it! It was rainy so there was no crowd which made it way more personal. Looking forward to Asian area opening in a few years.

So much fun! Mt. View elementary HEART summer school field trip was so much fun. Especially the ones who have never been to the zoo. Thanks Pro Youth HEART!

Steadily improving the experience, this was a super surprise enjoyed more than the SF Zoo by leagues

Love this zoo. The African Safari portion is top notch.

I loved my trip I got to enjoy many animals.I do recommend it.The service is good as well.

They really need to add those big shade covers over the African adventure walkways. It wouldnt be hard to do. Adding poles and extending the shade covers over the walkways. It gets so hot and I've seen numerous people get drained by the amount of direct sunlight in this area. Just a thought to help their guests last longer throughout their zoo experience.

Great animals awesome enclosures and very cool great for the whole family

Great park with a wide variety of mature trees covered and noncovered picnic/BBQ locations, tennis courts, memorials, statues ponds, open grass fields, dog park ect.
Not to forget home to The Chaffee Zoo with the recently opened African Adventure(awesome)
Also within the part is Playland and Storyland.

This zoo have improved dramatically over the last 4-5 years, and it just keeps getting better!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Waiting for a meal was fine, but standing in line I waited patiently for 8-10 minutes. When I get up to pay another lady steps in and asks if her soda coupons would work today. The cashier says let me take care of this person, I ll be back in a few minutes, please get in another line . So I moved over to start the 10 minute wait again. By then the food was getting cold. After 10 minutes waiting the first cashier came back and other people jumped in line to pay for their food. I give up!! I m going home and NEVER coming back!!!!

It was a chilly day (Jan 7th) and a bit damp, but many of the animals were very active and eating breakfast when we were there. The keepers were very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time!

The animals appear to be well cared for and the zoo is very clean.

Great zoo to take the family! Zoo lights is great every year!

Great place to take your kids and have a great time

We have been coming to the zoo for years and have watched it grow into a fabulous Zoo.

Honestly, this place is still depressing to go into. They have all those acres for the park yet the animal enclosures never get bigger, even though they keep adding animals. This place is a perfect example of what a zoo should not be.

Going always makes me sad and happy. Happy to see the animals, sad that they have to be locked up. Its ironic, humans putting animals in cages to protect them from humans.. In a perfect world, zoos wouldn't need to exist. But I'm at least happy some species of animals are still around because of them.

Hands down my favorite zoo! Loads of stuff to see, features, statues, play areas, water area, petting zoo, bird show, keeper talks and so so much more!!! A must see!

AWESOME HADN'T BEEN THER SINCE MAKE OVER IT IS UNBELIEVABLE AN EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR YOUNG AND OLD ALKIE. FOOD CONCESSION PRICES ARE FAMILY FRIENDLY.

Beautiful zoo. Even though it was very hot the animals looked comfortable. The new Africa area was exceptional.

We love the zoo, the birthday party area is awesome and the animal ambassadors made my sons birthday over the top for him!

Cow goes moo. Pig goes oink. Cat goes meow. And when you walk in there, it'll make you say WOW!! Trust me, it's that good.

Lots of huge events, always things going on, great place! New massive exhibits. beautiful.

Great place to go. new attraction and it's amazing! Watch a bird show, feed giraffes and watched a sea lion show. I'd come here with family or a date

We love coming to the zoo! They ve really improved from the zoo I remember visiting in 2nd grade.

Pleasantly surprised with this zoo. Has the best looking African Savannah exhibit I've seen out of a dozen zoos that I've been to.

Always a good time!! My son never gets tired of this place! We got a membership because we were coming so much!

After the new additions, the place is awesome! I grew up coming to this place and it was alright, but considering the admission price and what you get for a city the size of Fresno, it's great.

Very enjoyable time. All the animals were active and out. Sting rays were great.
