My boys love the animals and them building to it just made it so much better

They expended the place added more animals and kids love it

A great place to bring the family! I loved dining right by the rhino!

Attended special Storyland holiday event at night. Lovely decorated Christmas trees created by groups or individuals plus Christmas lights. Nice to see so many improvements within Storyland with more planned. We had a great time!

Very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful animals, and half-decent food. The gift shop is a little ridiculous with how expensive it is, so maybe bring a limited amount of cash so your kids can't pressure you to buy the store. I didn't take any pictures for the second half of our visit because it started raining pretty hard, but there really is a lot to see there.

A good zoo for a metro area of 1 million people. The giraffes & kangaroos are a hit with little kids.

My kids enjoy coming here to such all sorts of animals and seeing them in they're natural habitats.They also have events almost every holiday such as Christmas, Halloween, Easter and much much more. I totally recommend this places for familys.

I love this Zoo.. my son would come every week if he could. Staff are often frazzled and bossy.(snapped at my five year old old for roaring) but overall great. Side not in case staff read. Don't discourage a kid from learning animals and sounds the animals make. Don't just "don't do that, he does not like it" a child. Explain what the sound mimicking does to the animal. That's children 101 if your tired of being understanding and patient FIND ANOTHER JOB.

I have a lot of fun memories here from elementary and how we stole a map from a workers pocket and went alone with my friends but got detention for a week and had to clean the school up other than that it's fun

Very Fun. Must eat at the food court within, a bit pricey but good food.

The new changes and additions to the park are beautiful. It is truly something for Fresno to be proud of.

Great place to take kids I love the zoo. I have a membership it is worth every penny.

My little one loved seeing the animals as well as the new dinosaur exhibit. I just wish the price for the food inside was a little more reasonable

They added the safari. It's fun to feed the giraffes too. The staff is so sweet and very knowledgeable.

Absolutely loved this place, i felt like I was in the countries where some of the animals actually come from, the landscape of the whole zoo is beautiful, the way each animals homes are set up , while we sat at th Kopje Lodge eating lunch we were able to look out at the elephant, white rhinos & deers, it felt like I was on a safari adventure! I definitely want to go back and take our grandchildren next. Definitely a place to visit while in Fresno

Excellent local zoo. Great use of funds to make an exhibits that ere enjoyable for the guests to see and hopefully much more spacious for the animals to live in. Nice to have such a wonderful place in Fresno.

Probably the least impressive zoo I have been to, but it is something to do in the valley.

Taking animals out of their homes and natural environment to place them in small enclosures for monetary gain and
human entertainment, doesn't sound like fun to me!

Why i like this place is because kides get to learn about how animals live and why they are on this planet that is why i like the zoo

Take the kiddos here once a week and always come with put of town guests. This is a FABULOUS zoo. All of the animals are rescues, woukd not survive in the wild or are part of a species rehabilitation program. Fantastic exhibits and reasonably priced, delicious food. So many learning experiences and activities for kids. They have sandboxes, fossil digs, sting ray touch exhibit. My daughter loves the safari jeep at the lion exhibit. Admission is very reasonable compared to other zoos. Its very clean and the staff is knowledgeable. Plus you can also buy a parking pass for the Fresno regional parks at their box office to save you a trip downtown.

Fresno Zoo is a pretty fun and open space perfect for family trips! Even during the pandemic, the park is open for all to enjoy as long as you bring a mask. The park does limit how many people can enter in at one time, however so there can be a very long line for anyone who wants to buy their ticket there. Despite that though, most of the animals are still there and a new exhibit will be coming in next year!

Awesome place the zoo keepers are amazing at what they do. Fed some sea rays and was able to see some sharks even! Great times and awesome vibes

Love goinf there. My wife and I love taking our grandchildren to the zoo and our grandchildren love there also. We hace a yearly membership for ourselves and our grandchildren.. We'll keep on going every year. Many times each year.

Very nice place, many areas of animals from many parts of the world, areas very well arranged to warn as in their places of origin

Fresno Chaffee Zoo is is amazing we ALL had a great time.

It would be nice if the parking was included in the membership, or at least discounted. We tried to make it worth it and we stayed to see the ducks at the pond after the zoo closed up. I guess they have a playground there in that large park , but we left before we had a chance to play there because the kids forgot to bring their jackets.

We have the annual membership and it's kind of annoying when we all have to identify ourselves each time we go. But the kids enjoy going.

I haven't personally taken my dog here, but I've been there and have been thinking of bringing my dog here. Very nice place to spend some time at.

I've been going to this zoo since 1986 and have enjoyed every visit. It has been wonderful watching it grow!

My parents took us to this zoo many years ago, I was there with my Grandkids. I had as much fun seeing their little faces light up at all the wonderful exhibits. The upgrades are amazing. Much more kid friendly.

Had a wonderful time at the ice cream social zoofari event. The producers ice cream was delicious as per usual. Only thing I didn't like were the protesters outside using loud megaphones to protest the diary farms used for the ice cream. My son has sensory integration issues and so loud noises like the megaphone are difficult for him to sit through. Can't wait to come back again next year for more great ice cream and zoo experience. :)

Clean zoo. Entertaining and educational. Staff are friendly and helpful. Love feeding the giraffes.

Came for the first time in years with my one year old she sure did love feeding the giraffes and seeing the different animals

Affordability, quality of habitats, and exceptional upkeep of the animals, makes this park a must see destination! I was thoroughly impressed by the design of the African Safari portion of the park and there are plenty of shade trees to keep you cool. They also have a petting zoo!!! Low price and big family fun!

Great selection of animals and interactions available. The bird show is must cause they fly around the public and get close to get a better view. Good court has good selection of food as well.

It changed so much, the zoo got smaller and some animals aren't there anymore.

We love bringing our little ones to this zoo. The giraffe feeding is the favorite stop for our family. Going to pet the farm animals isn t quite hitting the list yet at least. We love stopping by to see the tiger, rhinos, and the elephants. There are a lot of animals to see and the enclosures are well kept. Not only that but the zoo keepers are highly knowledgeable.

The cafe at the zoo is great also with tasty and healthy options for kids and parents. The membership is well worth and has paid for itself many times over with the number of times we go a year. Not only that but the entrance line for members is always much shorter or nonexistent.

The Fresno zoo is a great place to spend time as a family.

Nice little place, we were there for about four hours! Definitely worth the wait for feeding the giraffes as well. Go to the second restaurant much shorter line for food. Not sure why so many line at first

A good day trip for the kids. Staff is friendly and helpful, the grounds are kept immaculate, and there's a wide variety of animals to appreciate.

Great new African savannah area with lions, elephants, giraffes and much more! Walk-through kangaroo/wallaby area fun! New water area will offer great relief in the summer heat. Dino-dig always fun if you don't mind a little dirt! We had a great day and hope to return again.

A good place to entertain the family AND exercise they only charge $ 5 to enter the park.

Clean. Zoo plus children's area (extra cost) but worth it. Large treed grass areas. Can feed the giraffes.

Great place for the kids. The parking can be difficult but definitely worth the wait. The new addition is amazing. I'm definitely going back.

Never used dog park to many homeless people in there
