Fresh start homes is willing to work with you, as long as you show them financially you can pay your rent every month. So if credit or other issues are holding you back on renting a house give them a call they helped me out when nobody else would.
Honestly, when I needed to find a place rent, I wasted so much money paying other rental companies application fees , just to get turned down for credit history or other issues. So if your in a bind give them a call, or stop in their office and as long as you show them how you plan on paying the rent, I'm pretty sure they'll make it happen. Don't settle for an apartment get that house with a yard and garage. Quick and easy if theres a repair needed. I've been renting from Randy at Fresh Start Homes for a little over 2 years now. Great company, Great People.
Absolutly do not rent from these con artists. I constanly paid an additional 30$ on my rent because they charged such a high percentage to use card or to pay over the phone. when i moved out the maintenance guy failed to come and inspect the home when I was availible and then showed up when i was unavailible. My boyfriend and i cleaned the house beautifuly we scrubbed the walls, mopped the floor, cleaned the carpets, replaced the blinds, and constantly cut the tree in the backyard. Even though we spent all that time making the home look "move in ready" ,as i was instructed to when i asked how to get my deposit back, they not only said the house took over $1400 to clean and fix which was my deposit. They attempted to charge me an additional $300 dollars. I complained and they ended up owing me $300. The receipts they provided me were bogus and the people they used to fix things were all convienently "out of the state" or not employed by them any longer.If you do end up renting from them keep in mind take pictures of EVERYTHING when you move in, when you move out and keep receipts of everything you buy in order to fix things up or clean. Best of luck with this company.

My husband and i lives in one of the Fresh Start homes for 1 yr now, so far no problem if there's a maintainence problem it it fixed right away. Staff is awesome willing to work with you if need be. We have worked with Loretta and find no problems, sorry for those's that have had problems, it was probably the tenants not the Rental Office.
Please don't rent from this place if you can help it. We had numerous things go wrong in our rental. Our calls for help were met with promises that maintenance person will be right over. We have called afresh Start Homes on four different occasions to have someone fix our air conditioner. It's been going on on two weeks and no one has come by. Two weeks in this triple digit heat!!!!!
I asked one question, she answered it but then when I said "ok nevermind thank you" she hung up without saying bye. That's so rude .
