Freedom Toyota Review

I have dealt with Jeremy and his staff for my last two cars. I could not ask for a friendlier, kinder, more personable, knowledgeable, professional and just downright awesome guy.

I recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle at Freedom. This was our household's third purchase at this dealership. There are good reasons why I returned to Freedom for this purchase. In my previous experiences here, I and my significant others purchased new cars. This time, however, circumstances dictated that I shop for a used vehicle. I was NOT disappointed! The sales person who worked with me, Rudy, listened to my concerns, both about my vehicular needs and my budget. He very intuitively helped me select a vehicle that was exactly what I needed, and what my budget allowed. He never once tried to oversell me, and the experience was exceedingly comfortable from start to finish. I am grateful for the courteous and professional treatment I've received from every member of the staff with whom I've dealt. Clearly, Freedom Toyota Scion cares about their customers, and has associates who are willing and able to do what it takes to keep us coming back! I noticed that Rudy is not listed in the employee list in this survey. I also know that I was Rudy's first official sale during his employment at Freedom. I wish him a long, successful, and happy career. And I would highly recommend seeking him out. His kindness and willingness to go the extra mile for me are qualities that I admire in anyone working in customer service. I hope that management recognizes what a valuable employee they have in him. In fact, ever person I've encountered at Freedom deserves a commendation for their professionalism.

ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! Liza lonergan was my sales lady and she couldn t communicate with me properly so I could have my plates in time . All she was worried about was the sale after that she didn t bother contacting me about what s going on with my plates . I had to reach out to see what s going on with my plates . Now I am driving around with expired temp plates because this dealership doesn t know how to get things done in a timely manner . Now they re saying they can t do anything about my expired temp plates. If you created a problem you should fix it don t leave it up to the customer . I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP !!!!

Had nitrogen put in all my tires. One of the easiest places around to have it done. Good service, affordable, and fast.

Stopped by today 2/18/2017 to get key cut also had issues with tires shaking was told it could be a balancing issue first let me say the truck was sold as a cpo might of checked that before hand but anyways paid to get balancing done left the dealer same problem stopped by Ntb and was told that not only was it done incorrectly but the reused the old weights when I called back I over heard the tech that did the repair that he didn't remove the old weights because he didn't want to waste weights. So not only did I have to pay them for a crappy job but had to pay Ntb to do the job the right way. What is the world coming to where you can't even get what you pay for it's like they are doing you a favor by taking your money and not doing their job right. But I will be calling on Monday and getting my money back.

Here's an update got answer form John but still no resolution hasn't contact me and I guess it's ok to steal customers money and not render the service customer paid for.

Overall I m very pleased whenever I bring my car in for service. Everyone is always very friendly and accommodating and I never feel like I m being told I need something I don t. My only complaint is that I don t always feel I get the top notch service that the people who bought brand new or lease do since I bought pre-owned. I imagine that s everywhere though and since this was the first car I ve ever bought I really have nothing to compare it to.

Jasten was super professional & RAD which is impossible these days. He knew what he was talking about & helped me thru the decision process etc... I leave feeling I did ok; Stoked about my new Tacoma and would recommend Freedom Toyota moving forward...

If I could give 0 stars I would. 5 hours to put 2 tires on my car and do a ECU update that i was told would take 20 minutes and inspection. My wife and I watched people come in after us and leave hours before us.

Was in recently for some maintenance and an air conditioning issue. Excellent!

I have no complaints about the service I have received for my Tundra. I know that dealerships are busy in the service area but I would like to suggest that dealerships provide an area for breast feeding moms and a baby changing station in the bathroom. When I bring in my vehicle for service and maintenance I stay at the dealership and wait for service to be completed. I bring my infant with me because it s something that needs to be done with my vehicle but I also need to bring her with me. Having such an area for breast feeding moms in a busy business would be very accommodating and make the experience more enjoyable without people giving me looks for feeding my daughter as I do my best to be discrete.

Doug Murphy is the salesperson Id recommend! I have had 3 vehicle purchase with him now and my daughter also. I live 2+ hours away and won't go anywhere else!!!

My husband and I were shopping for a used Acura. And although we did not purchase the car that we test drove. Jeremiah was awesome. He was knowledgeable and patient. We spent approximately 2 hours with Jeremiah in a no-pressure environment he answered every question we had about the used Acura and then proceeded to indulge our curiosity with a test drive and a Toyota RAV4 and then answered many questions about a Toyota Highlander. He was awesome to work with. The whole experience at Freedom was the most comfortable environment I have ever been in for a car dealership and my husband I look forward to returning soon. I recommend this dealership highly and I recommend working with Jeremiah.

Showroom is spotless, the salesperson was knowledgeable, cheerful and extremely helpful, she came in on her day off to assist us, and the Tacoma we purchased is incredible!!! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a vehicle!!!

Notice how most 5 star reviews have only 1 review to their name? Freedom has done a fabulous job of coaching and or inflating reviews. The service department is below par. 5 day wait for an oil change. Translation nobody wants to work here. Performance Toyota is one of the best. Worth the trip. I have been to Champion and Team. 2 of the biggest in PA. Freedom is a bust. Go elsewhere.

I had a wonderful experience. The salespeople/managers are all so friendly and care about you as a person. I met with Doug and didn't feel the typical car sales pressure to buy. He gave me all my options and left it to me to decide and talk over with my family. While we were there my mother mentioned something about the locking feature in her new RAV4 and Doug took the time after our meetin to go over the locking feature and show her how she could change it. Freedom Toyota is a wonderful place for buying and servicing vehicles as I have had other encounters in the past! Would recommend a Toyota to everyone and better yet recommend seeing Doug at Freedom in Hamburg!!

So very grateful to Evan, who met me with great courtesy and professionalism and listened carefully to everything I had to say. And to Juan, the mechanic, who did the work I required plus some creative problem solving that made the difference, helping me keep an old car alive a little longer.

They kept me informed throughout the entire process and considering how busy it was, they had it all very streamlined and was out in no time. Feel good about the pricing too, good value. Worth the drive to Hamburg and just like when I bought the car from Freedom, I ll come back the next time my car needs to be looked at. Great dealership!

My wife and I were actually heading to another dealership to look at 2 used Toyota Tundras. We decided to stop at Freedom to see if they had any used Tundras in stock. We were greeted by Raj Majumdar and I'm glad we were. I told him what we were looking for and he advised me that they did have a few double cab Tundras however no Crewmax Tundras, which we were looking for. Raj then showed us a new 2014 Crewmax. He wanted to work up a price with our trade which we agreed to. We explained that we were in a hurry and he then advised that he would send us the quote via email to our phones. There was no pressure from him, even knowing that we were going to another dealership to look at purchasing one of their vehicles. We went on our way and test drove the ones at the other dealership. While doing so my wife had received the quote from Raj. We were impressed with the quote and my wife had some further questions so she and Raj were emailing back and forth. After getting the price on a used Crewmax from the other dealer we realized that the quote we had received from Freedom, which was only a $1,200.00 difference in price was one that couldn't be beat. We ended up going back to Freedom and purchasing the new 2014 Tundra Crewmax. The entire time we were there we were treated with respect and kindness, they even fed us lunch. The Sales Manager Greg Miller introduced himself to us, thanked us and inquired about anything we needed
That was the first time in 10 years that we had purchased a vehicle. I wasn't looking forward to it after our last experience, however Freedom has changed my mind on car buying experiences. When it comes to purchasing another vehicle in the future I won't forget about Freedom and their professional employees. Thanks Raj and hopefully I will get to deal with you again in the future.

My mother-in-law just had her Cadillac repaired here. She purchased the vehicle a little over a year ago and was told it was still under warranty. She waited for the repairs because they were only to take 2 hours. She was thrilled when it took less than an hour until she was paying and realized she had to pay for the full two hours of labor because that's what the job called for. In these hard times with the pandemic I feel this was highway robbery. Her appointment was for 8:00am and she was done before 9:00am. She also drove an hour to be there which costed money for gas! We just feel this charge was completely wrong!!!

Steve did a great job of getting me in and the mechanic did a fine job of finding my problem and they got me out of there in the timeframe I was asking for

Had my car serviced at Freedom Toyota. Experience was pleasant and efficient. Steve was very courteous, and thoroughly explained everything.

We had an excellent experience with Thomas and the crew at Freedom Toyota. They kept me informed throughout the whole process,and they made me feel valued and respected. I searched the internet for a 200 mile distance and they by far had the best price in Pennsylvania. I highly recommend Thomas and his teammates and will definitely shop here again.

DOUG MURPHY. Thats all I have to say. This car salesman was the best one I ever dealt with. I contacted him months before I was going to buy a car and he helped me as soon as I asked. He constantly looked and kept me updated with everything and ALWAYS answered my questions promptly. He definitely went above and beyond for me and I am so grateful. I don't like when car salesmen rush you and make you feel pressured.. dealing with him I felt far from that! I took my time, asked A LOT of questions, and even bothered him on days off! The final price had no surprises and he went over the best options for me. Highly recommend him!

Salesman, Doug, was helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. I was pleased that I was shown the invoice and given a good price for my new truck and a fair trade price for my xterra. While I believe that I can get a similar or better deal elsewhere, I am impressed with the convenience of location, availability of loaner cars and the assortment of services available in their service department. If the service is as great as they say, I will buy my next car there again.

My experience at freedom Toyota was awesome! Jeff Hinkle was as professional as they come. He gave me a fair deal. The service department is also very professional. I got an inspection and oil change at a very fair price. The work was done right the first time. I Wil be back again I may want to upgrade. I love my camry!!!

I must say I've had some bad and some good experiences here but they've totally redeemed themselves from the service I got from Hamdy Sayed Osman. He was incredibly professional and rushed around for us. I've never had a salesman that gave the effort and dedication he has. If you go to Freedom, I highly recommend requesting him as your salesman.

Had a Great Experience buying RAV4 from Doug! He answered all our questions with no pressure or judgement! Great guy at a great company!

I took my rav4 in to be checked for a few things. One was hard shifting. I was charged $50 for them to test drive it and then to say nothing was wrong.

They are very professional and courteous at Freedom Toyota but today I had a 10:00 appointment to get my car inspected and have my GPS maps updated. I was there almost 2 hours and was told they had to order a flash drive in order to update the maps. I wish they would have told me that when I called to make the appointment. I would have waited until they received it to go. Now I have to drive another hour to have it done when they receive the flash drive. I also feel I was there an awful long time just to have an inspection done.

Well let's start with this. This was my first time buying a car. This car is mine and will be mine. With that being said Donny was very patient and professional for my entire time there. I walked onto the lot with so many thoughts going through my head. Then met Donny and his bubbly personality instantly calmed my nerves and made me feel welcomed. I went with a few cars in mind but I left with my perfect car. All thanks to Donny..i am a very satisfied customer and will do future business at freedom Toyota because of Donny!

I had a wonderful experience with Freedom Toyota. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I live 2 and a half hours from the dealership but I would definitely recommend them, and when the time comes for a new car will probably return.

I drove almost two hours to go to this specific Toyota dealership, and just as I thought I was taken such good care of. Nicole and the rest of the team helping out made sure I got exactly what I wanted and in my price range. She showed me a few different options and helped me figure out which one was best for me. I HIGHLY recommend this Toyota dealership. I have been to 3 different ones in the last year and this is the first one that I left with a new car from. I m extremely happy and I LOVE my new Toyota Camry!!!

Our family was on day 1 of a 4 day vacation, long road trip, and halfway in, on the highway, we ran over a 3 drywall screw. It destroyed the rear passenger tire beyond repair. No spare. I m thinking... that our family vacation is seriously damaged, if not completely destroyed, at this point. We were able to hobble the minivan over to Freedom Toyota. But we didn t have an appointment. Hearing our plight, not only did they make time for us almost immediately, they had the parts we needed in stock, fixed the minivan back up, at a very fair price, and got us back on the road in barely over an hour (while we had lunch at the Wendy s next door.) We made it to our final destination by sundown. It s no exaggeration to say that the service department *absolutely* saved our family vacation. We are hugely grateful to the kind, prompt, and talented team at Freedom Toyota, and we wholeheartedly recommend them for any and all of your automotive needs.

Just bought 2 vehicles! Great selection and wonderful sales team!!

I really like the sales personnel here, they are very friendly, helpful and professional. However I give it a 4/5 stars because of there recon/detailing department. Recon is is cutting corners and I highly recommend if you buy car here don't be suckered into Plan A. This will add $700+ to your car loan and you are not getting what you pay for, I know because I used to work here.

They use a cheap crappy wax that they call a "paint sealant" which does absolutely nothing but provide your car with a wax that does nothing but bead the water off, and offers 0 protection wise. They also cut corners but not fully covering the vehicle with this wax, they never do the roofs, which is one of the most important parts as it will be taking all the direct sunlight and precipitation. The interior shine is a joke too, it's a cheap greasy spray on shine that will do nothing but collect dust and does not offer UV protection like the better products such as Meguiars offers.

Great service! Courtesy service. Time waiting long, but within what I was told when I dropped it off! Thank you!
