Very nice place, delicious and great food and lovely staff

Perfect grilled calamari. The place can be loud when the game is on.

I've only gone a few times and it can be crowded during sporting events. I give it a low rating because parking is at a minimum when you want to go there. On the flipside, I had to stop visiting other stores there because the bar patrons will not leave spots for the other business patrons.

Random plaza usually equals random pub. Fred's has good food and your standard taps at reasonable prices.

Good food, staff is pretty good, can be busy with a not so nice crowd.

Great menu and the food is amazing. They only thing I didn't like is the prices. I find them on the more pricey side. For these prices I would expect to be eating at the keg, not a dive bar.

Waitress is rude and racist. Ignore new customer, only take a their regular customers

Great food and staff. Was a great down the street pub to have some drinks and some mussels and run into old neighborhood friends. It's a shame they seem to be crazy busy all the time.. takes away the homey feel it used to have. But good for Fred's, they deserve it.

Great food, friendly staff and my favourite place to watch any sporting event as there are flat screens on every wall. This place is a hidden gem in Mississauga. I highly recommend this bar to anyone in the area.

Ordered 3 lbs of wings to take out today... what I got hardly got to 2.5 pounds! I wouldn't even go to the length of weighing my food order, however it felt somewhat light... Otherwise a nice place to go for your drinks and food, and we still do that often. Let's hope that today was a one-off!

Even my 10 year old says they have the best wings! The chicken club is yummy and everything we've had at Fred's is great!

I used to love coming here as a (post 19 year old) kid. It was the only pub in the neighbourhood I grew up in.

Had a really great time here. Good food and drink selection. Prices are fair and staff is friendly. Check it out.

My first visit to Fred s Bar and Grill today and was so pleasantly surprised. The decor was definitely a sports bar, but the food was exceptional. The grilled calamari was the best. I also need to mention our waitress was great. We will be back!

Have been a resident of the Applewood area for 32 years. This has been a staple in the community producing great food, great attendants (personality and looks) and a family atmosphere making you want to come back again and again.

This place has the best grilled Calamari in town. It's slightly breaded, has a crispy texture, and is drizzled with EVOO and lemon. The staff are warm and welcoming. Great sports bar with a modern and cozy ambiance.

Don't ever miss the uniquely made " Grilled Calamari" it's an award winning dish in my opinion

if it is a game day ... then a couple of beers will infidelity need couple it with the most amazingly done home-style Nachos !!!! OMG !

Went to this place last night with a couple of friends. We ordered a pitcher with 4lbs of wings. Our server (a young lady) told us right away, after placing our order, that she cannot split the bill and that it HAD to be on one tab. We said it was fine, but I was a bit bothered at the fact that they dont allow split transactions. In 2017, you would think that every restaurant/bar would have this as part of their service, but not in Fred's case. 2 stars for that one. For that matter I'd rather go to Earls, boston pizza, wacky wings, jack astors, or any other bar or restaurant in the area next time.

Great local bar. So many tvs you don't have to worry about them not playing a game you want to watch. The food is actually really good too.

Had 1 of the specials - it was so good! The staff is very attentive too! Can't say anything bad about Fred's.

Great place for an after work beer and wings. One of the best wings. Their grilled calamary is also super tasty.

Menu is very good for a bar style venue. Chipotle BBQ wings are a good choice.

Have been coming to Fred's for about a year we love it! We pity the poor tourists who don't get a chance to check it out

This place is really amazing. Food (we ate two type of pastas and calamari) was excellent, fresh, nicely cooked, right on time and not to expensive. Service also was nice and polite. I will suggest this place to everybody and definitly I will come back. Cheers!!! :)

Hidden Gem in MIssissuga that everyone should expeirence. The management and staff are great at remembering repeat customers (even after second visit), they are welcoming as soon as you walk in.
Now lets talk about their food: EVERYTHING ON THE MENU IS GOOD!! Its actually really surpriseing that a sports bar has such a great menu.
My absoulute favorites and their must try if your a newbie, is their GRILLED CALAMARI and their PASTA FAGIOLI SOUP. yumm!!
Prices are really fair too. THIS IS DEFINITELY A MUST TRY!

Fantastic onion rings and one of the best cappuccinos I have ever tasted. All they need to do is add some pie or cake to the menu and they would be perfect in my eyes.

Went on a Friday around dinner time. Place was busy but staff was quick and efficient. Had the wings and poutine, both of which were excellent. The waitresses are also very beautiful. Highly recommended!

One of our company got sick from the bad lettuce in the salad, the place was full of flies, and washrooms disgusting. Would never go there again.
