Small local sports bar with great wings and grilled calamari. The East Mississauga locals love this small go-to social gathering spot and rave about the grilled calamari. Their pasta fagoli is delicious! Their soup is amazing. The servers are always friendly.

Servers need to be more attentive. Many times they are just chit chatting together by the kitchen when they should be paying attention to the paying customer. Food is pretty good. Wine and beer little more expensive than other bars. They have no specials for drinks like many other bars do.

Nice atmosphere, great location for watching sports
Seems to be a very popular place for food and drink. The calamari is amazing. The fish tacos are pretty great too. I could definitely get talked into going several times a week if my life would allow it.

Great bar to watch sports with some of the best food Mississauga has to offer. Been going there for very long time and consistency is the best word to describe the food quality.

Went to freds bar and grill, and was told they were closing early (even though the website clearly says closing at 2am) because the manager wants to go home, this caused a bit of an argument between the manager, myself and my girlfriend. The worst part of it was when the manager called us asses .
Not in my 25 years of existence and experience with 100 s of bars, have I ever come across such terrible customer service. Never again coming to this bar as long as that manager works there!
Fred's is hands down the best "bar" in Mississauga and puts all other franchises in the area to shame. The food is amazing, atmosphere during game is solid, and it's frequently packed which shows they're doing something right. This has been my go to spot for over 4 years and can't see that changing anytime soon. The staff is also generally really great and will put on whatever game you ask and are on top of things. I would just like the beer menu to expand to add some more IPA options but otherwise it's always going to be a Guiness at Fred's.

Nice bar with a surprisingly good selection of food. Their best item in my opinion is the calamari (not fried) some of the best fish I've had and ample portions to boot.

Recently discovered this hidden gem in Mississauga and absolutely love it. I could honestly eat everything on the menu at this restaurant. Definately will be making my way back to this place. As of August 2020, the restaurant has resumed indoor dining and a patio service.
Great bar with lots of TVs. Pasta is not that good but can't expect good pasta at a bar. The people in my group all liked their food, for a bar the food is up there. Would definitely go back.

The bar itself is ok, more than 30 flat screen, so you can watch anything from anywhere. Drinks are good and at reasonable prices. 3 stars only because food! Have been there twice and wont go anymore. Food is small, taste very common and overpriced. At the same price will eat 5x better at "expensive" Square One mall. Overall - if you going to have few drinks, OK but if you want to spend and evening at restaurant - find a better place.
The food was good, but the waitress seemed very keen to get us to leave as soon as possible. She rushed us to pay our bill and asked us to leave as there were people waiting to be seated. On our way out we saw that this wasn't true, there was no lineup. Sorry, not coming back.

Food is better than most bars... Used to be really good value before they jacked up the prices. (Burger with fries or salad used to be $6!!!) Mussels are good and pretty popular here. I love their club sandwich. Service is always great and there really is a Fred! Funny cast of regulars can always be found here.
Great food, and wonderful staff, I have been there multiple times and enjoy their soup as well as their calamari, Cellular Reception is HORRIBLE there but that isn't Fred's Fault
This place has really good food and decent pricing I just found that I was a bit rushed and there was definitely a few locals. Definitely are very Rowdy and loud and definitely take up majority of the seating but has okay food and fair prices

I've been to this place twice because I wanted to see if it was just the one time that we got a crappy server but It wasn't just the one time. It's hard to read some of the comments where people are praising the staff/servers because on the 2 different occasion that we went in. ( a group of 4) we were treated not so professionally.
The food all in all is not so bad. The fish tacos are pretty good just on the spicy side. They have a limited menu and the really downer is they do not offer any kind of dessert. The food does take a long time to come out and it's hard to get a server to refill your water. But they are very quick to ask if you'd like a second beer. I couldnt drink at the time because of a medical reason and was stuck with water and it felt like pulling teeth everytime my water ran out. My server would see it was empty and never come fill it. When asked she would take really long in coming back. They never came around to check to see if our food was good or if we had gotten the right order.
One of the people we were with got the wrong order and had to wait or 15 minutes to be able to track the server down and then the server was like " no that's what you ordered in a very firm voice" when it wasn't then the server took it back then minutes later came back and apologized because in fact she had gotten the orders mixed and yes our friend had indeed not ordered that plate.
We went for sports events and as a sports bar it's good. It does however get packed and if you dont arrive early you will get stuck with the crappy seats or stuck with your back to the screen. On sport events it feels like they are understaffed because the wait time for food/drinks triple.

Great atmosphere. Always has the current game on for viewers. Good variety of food and alcohol. Wings are great. Meaty. Lots of sauce. Pizza is rolled out thin but tons of flavour. My families go to spot for pub style food.
