The training department is amazing. Staff very professional and very friendly

i hate this place. ive called them many times and several of their workers have come into my home to monitor my family, my abusive parents, emotionally unstable sisters and me with several metal health disorders. they did absolutely nothing to help us. when they did come by we didn't get progress of what their future plans were and they'd show up without telling us, and it made the abuse from my parents worse. even after straight up telling them that i was at risk and couldnt stay there any longer they refused to open a case. i dont know how to get help from anywhere else.

AVIOD CHILDREN SERVICES AS BEST YOU CAN. There are really parents out here that care more for their children than any other person could. In my experience I was mistreated as a youth in these services and there was no type of remorse . My parents where not told of how we would be locked in hen houses at the "families home". It looked like a plantation. Our parents never even got to see where we were living and how we were living here at all.honestly I think they take the kids so they can be weird to them. In some way i feel that they wanted me to turn out strange like their family. The requirements they conduct to see if the "new families" are fit to raise someone else's children are an absolute joke.My mother got custody back and that's the best place I believe I could have been in my mother's care personally.God please bless the families that are dealing with children services and please bless the children that are in need of real authentic parents.

These people will avoid you and then claim YOU are unreachable!
Same old story of a business claiming they're out to help, but really the only thing they help is themselves and their financial situation at the expense of your children.

My son and my nephew were transportedto Childrens Hospital from Lewis Center after a crash. They were in their car seats. Once there, my mom arrived before I or my husband did as we were both at work. My son was rising with his uncle and aunt who were transported to Riverside. These folks had the nerve and audasity to try and tell my mother she couldnt go back there to my son and nephew. They were set in their place and then they had the aidacity to tell my mother the only way these kids could be thus hurt is if they were buckled up. Mind you my brother in laws dog was in the car. He did his duty in protecting them and lost his life doing so. Theu were hit by a semi. Even though the trailvkazer was flipped and landed on its side they were still buckled and in their car seats. By the grace of God they were spared. If I ever hear Franklin County Child Services ever goes around my kids and is rude to my family ever again, everyone in that building will loose their jobs. So dusrespectfu, despicable, reckless, careless people. Im not some slum drugged up moron and neither is my husband nor my brother and sister in law. My rant is over, I cant wait to call Monday morning.

These staff only care about them selves not the children. All they look forward to is a paycheck no helping the children in need!

My wife and I are currently a kinship family and have 2 children in our home that are in custody of FCCS. They have done nothing but LIE to my wife and I the entire 14 months we have had these children in our home. We make to much money to qualify for any county assistance. So we are not receiving any financial help from anyone. We were advised to look into the local food banks and charity organizations. They used to bring grocery store gift cards and help with utilities but that was stopped 3 months ago. Now to find out one of the children doesn't have a birth certificate or social security number so she cannot be claimed on our taxes as a dependent. She is almost 3 years old and has been in custody almost her entire life. FCCS was aware of this the entire time and have done nothing to assist us on obtaining the documentation required to correct this situation. In fact they some how illegally obtained a OHIO Healthy Start card for and placed us in a bad situation leagally with the State Of Ohio. STEER CLEAR OF THE KINSHIP PROGRAM AT ALL COST

I think FCCS should stop abusing their power to harass great parents of wonderful children. This organization will ridicule, and stereotype any family who lives in a low income neighborhood. I'm a great mom who cleans, cooks, and provides exceptional care for her children and am falling victom to the type emotional abuse that this agency stands to dish out. My recent experience speaking with one of their poorly trained, and uneducated workers was absolute torture. This woman in my opinion is a predator, and gets great joy at the expense of others pain. She will stand tall in your own home and try her hardest to make you cower down. Not only is she un professional, she is down right rude in every aspect. Upon leaving my home she discussed details about my case without my consent to people whom are not included in the actual case. BEWARE!!!! These people are leaches.

UPDATE: The supervisors are as equally uneducated as the careless workers. These people do not conduct thorough investigations, and list pure lies in report to obtain emergency hearings. They also lied about several things in the report, which I have medical professionals as witnesses to prove them wrong plus all supporting documentation, which the worker physically seen, and she still submitted lies. This place needs to be completely re staffed. And really need to conduct thorough investigations if they are going to do any all.

I have a good appreciation for this agency. Most of the reviews aren't all that positive but that's understandable because many families are not involved voluntarily and their outcomes aren't always the way they want them. But my experience with children services has been better in this city than any other and that's saying something

This place should be SHUT DOWN, they employ people who are single minded, young with no children and come in your home with the first thought to open an case amd remove your children... They will even make a case knowing that what was More

I smoked marijuana while I was pregnant but I had a good job and so did my fiance and we had a nice apartment and a beautiful Nursery and I went to give birth and CPS got involved because I came up positive for weed so I stopped smoking weed and passed all my drug test asked me to take parenting classes so I took the parenting classes and then they wouldn't pay for the classes even though they promised they would pay for them and they suddenly close the case and recommended emergency custody go to his grandma for no reason and I never found out why they took my baby and I still don't know why they took my baby.

These people don't care about kids at all! My Dad tried making a report about some mother who was being racist and bullying people online etc, These people already have her kids but they plan on giving them back! they act like its no big deal! The people that work here should never be allowed to have kids of their own!!
