Great selection but horrible return policy. They ask you for all of your info when purchasing something but when you need to return something they say they don't keep it on file. Its 2021, every business stores this info. Get with the times! Make it easier for customers to return things without store credit BS. Makes me want to shop somewhere else.

Great service, great selections, great prices. If you are looking for anything for your next home project I highly recommend stopping in. This place is absolutely amazing and the service and staff are absolutely fantastic. The selections will blow your mind. I just can't say enough about Fox Home Center. Take a look for yourself, you'll thank me later

This store has a beautiful and modern selection of everything home. I had a minor issue with one of my purchases and Maggie helped resolve my issue and made sure I was completely satisfied. Definitely recommend Fox Home Center. Thanks again Maggie!

Employees DO NOT wear masks. Was in there today an...

Employees DO NOT wear masks. Was in there today and saw 4 different employees not wearing any mask at all, even while waiting in customers. Don t expect them to have their customers wear masks when they are not. I felt very uncomfortable and was ready to make a large purchase but I left because I couldn t find anyone to help me who was wearing a mask. Very disappointed.

I'm currently experiencing a very horrible experie...

I'm currently experiencing a very horrible experience with fox lumber and it's staff (Chris James). I ordered a sliding shower door a couple months ago and I still haven't received them. The individual who came over my house took the wrong measurements and therefore the door that was brought over my house did not fit. I was then contacted by Chris James the sales associate who informed me that even though it was an error on their end, I would still be responsible for paying an additional almost $500 for a custom door. After a heated argument with him, he informed me that he would attempt to resolve the problem. It's been a week later and I still haven't heard anything from him. It's been 3 months since I initially placed the order and still don't have the product or service that was promised to me. On a different occasion I stopped at the Fox Lumber store to pick up a bathroom vanity that I had ordered and was met by a young red headed lady who was sitting at the front register at entrance of the store. She reading a book when I approached her to pay for my vanity and kept ignoring me until I told her to please allow me to pay for my vanity. She looked at me with an awful look of disgust and rolled her eyes at me. When I asked her for the pick up location, she replied in a very disrespectful manner "didn't they tell you that already at the other desk" When I told that no one told me anything. She picked up her reading book and pointed at the other service desk and replied "go ask them, I can't help you." So far I've been in complete disbelief with the horrible customer service at this store.

"You get what you pay for". Perhaps they should re...

"You get what you pay for". Perhaps they should rename the store the Fox "Off Brands" Center. They have no well-known name brands of any sort. The cabinets are an off brand. They utilize high-pressure sales people like a furniture store. The tile they sell - the back has a stamp "Premium Porcelain". There's no other mention of a brand. There's "A B" near the lower left corner and "Made in China" in the lower right. It's not a quality tile - yet they sell for prices higher than Home Depot or Menards. The sales people are rude. They have no computerized system for inventory...it's a paper-based system from the Lucille Ball days of television. And the salesman C.J. lied to me about a "filler piece" for the cabinetry. They charged $70 and he told me we could return it if we didn't need it. Well - we didn't need it and they won't take it back, citing "special order" status, even though it comes from their cabinet distributor.
I recommend going elsewhere - literally anywhere else. Avoid these dinosaurs.

Best selection of tile and cabinets, that I have seen. All of the displays in the store use their stock tile for walls and backsplashes. Best place to go for project inspiration! The staff couldn't have been more helpful in helping me pick out tile for my kitchen. I will definitely be going back again and will recommend this lumber yard to all of my neighbors and friends!

Don't waste your time or money. The service there is really bad. They are a group of unorganized and unprofessional people spearheaded by their nasty attitude owner/president John E. Lard. John will come and do measurements for fencing without confirming where you would like it installed. He removed section of my patio to install a fence without confirming with me. My old fence was installed outside of my patio. He called after yelling and complaining his installers charged him $300 for tearing up my patio. He is a real dumb ass.

Not sure what Keith is talking about I have spent thousands of dollars in this store and have never had a poor quality piece. I go here because it is the only place I can get strait lumber without spending 30 min digging though a lumber bin. I got my entire garage, all the doors, and all the trim in my house here. There customer service is also wonderful after dealing with the self service attitude of the big box stores for years.

Great selection of fans and light fixtures! I found exactly what I was looking for. One of the counter guys even helped me special order a larger size fixture for my foyer. I have been coming to fox since the day the doors opened. Last year I rebuilt my deck and attended one the their Deck Clinics. Very informative. Thanks Fox!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The most unprofessional inconsiderate home store I've ever been in. I walked in looking for the paint section, and three young girls were sitting on the cashier's table talking about who knows what. I must have interrupted their very important conversation because when I asked where do I find the paint, they looked at me as if I was a bother. One of them then said isle such and such and then rolled her eyes and continued the conversation. Then once I finally found the isle, NOBODY AND I MEAN NOBODY, asked did I need help. I stood there for about 15 mins completely clueless. I then walked out. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN!!!!

Stay away. Someone had tried to touch up a cabinet with white paint that wasn't even close to a match. Don't understand how Fox's received a shipment of custom cabinets that were damaged and never inspected them first before putting them on a truck for delivery. Told me 10 days for a replacement which was a lie.

I go there often and the only thing that upsets me...

I go there often and the only thing that upsets me is that the employees rarely speak to me. As a potential customer that is upsetting. Usually it is the young lady at the checkout counter who speaks if anyone speaks to me at all. There is a order desk further back in the store that has multiple employees there and I've gone there on many occasion when they were not busy walking past this desk to have no one speak to me. That's very upsetting.

As far as products you can find so deals there on quality items. You just have to keep checking back. They have a vast selection of items for the whole house....kitchens...baths...flooring....etc.

If it were not for the poor customer service they would get 4 stars.

We were in a jam looking for lumber for our fence. Nobody in sight had 6 ft picket posts and thankfully we were able to get what we needed at Fox s. Dennis was extremely polite and helpful because my husband and I had zero clue what we were buying (we had a list from a family member on what was needed). He walked through the store so we could grab everything on the list. So glad we were pointed in Fox s direction because we now know where we will go for home improvement projects.

You can't beat Fox for service. I'm trying to do custom closets and the big box carry only white. Everything else is custom order. Tried Fox and they had it all in stock-parts, colors, accessories. They knew the product, had a lot of it and were able to customize the Easy Track sets so it came out to just what I needed and below what I estimated for materials. They saved me a lot of time and aggravation!

This has to be one of the worst purchasing experiences of my life!!! I ordered two entry doors in Oct 2011 and both doors came back with flaws and defects.I had to fight tooth and nail with Fox Lumber to resolve this issue.First the windows were supposed to have a privacy rating of 6.They came back with a 0.The wood work was all damaged and flawed.They have no conern for what the customer paid for,they just want the money and push their product out the door.Even the second time the doors came back from the factory with defects and they felt it was okay.I asked them if they bought a new car and it had scratches if they would take it,of course they said no.This was the same difference.When my installers came to install the door it was the wrong size.I come to find out they wrote the ticket up wrong and I didn't catch it.Okay,I am not a contractor and just a regular homeowner trying to do a home repair.I was a fool by trusting Fox Lumber to care for their customer,but they do not!!! They told me I was stuck with the door and to just deal with it.They would rather make a few bucks and lose thousands,these people are the real fools.If you buy here there is NO GUARANTEE ON THEIR PRODUCTS,SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

I just left Fox after paying my invoice. I ordered gates and they were to be installed 11/11/20. They put the posts in and didn't return. On 11/16/2020 we contacted Fox and were then informed Felippe should be out on "today" to finish up the job. Well Filippe didn't come, didn't call, nothing. I received a call from Fox on 11/19/2020 from Kim about paying the balance of my invoice. I told Kim I would pay when the job was finished. Kim called me back to say Fillipe would be out the next day 11/20/2020. So as it turns out, Fillipe did not come AGAIN as scheduled. In fact he came 11/30/2020 & finished on 12/1/2020. I attempted to tell Kim both times I spoke with her that the communication could definitely be improved upon. My husband took off with 2x waiting for Fillipe, but he was no show, no call. I was going to order my kitchen cabinets today, but decided to go elsewhere and get better customer service and more importantly, feel valued as a customer.

Customer service has al ot to be desired. Too many un- masked employees. I mentioned to 2 staff who didn't seem to care. One responsed "as long as were are 6ft apart, there is no problem", the other just stood there silent. I spoke directly to the young man who stood there maskless, but he made no move to put the mask on despite me verbally stating I was not comfortable. As I was walking, several more staff maskless.

I was in the Alsip store trying to get assistance purchasing a bathroom counter top and the 1 young lady that was in the area said there's a lady around there to help you. Well no lady ever materialized and absolutely nobody else in that store asked us if we needed assistance after 25 minutes we left. I will never patronize your business again because of the way my wife and I were treated.

Love going there! I went as a kid with my dad all the time and now im starting to build so why not keep the tradition going! As a beginner with many questions the staff is really paitent and helpful and took time to make sure i knew what i was doing! Will always be a customer!

Came in to get 2 sections 12' each of oak railing.
The sections they had were 16'. The associate informed me they are not supposed to cut them down to where they are left with sections less than 8'. Right in front of me, in the bin were several leftover sections of the same railing measuring 4' and less indicating their policy is inconsistent. You would think a smaller business would try to earn more clients. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Absolutely horrible service. Been calling on an issue every day for over a week. Their customer service is terrible. No calls back, manager doesn t call back. They re questioning honoring a warranty as not sure their supplier will reimburse them despite it being a legit warranty. What ? So you don t care about your customers and then continue making them wait for a WEEK??? Of no communication???!!!

Very poor customer service. We had a linen closet delivered and when the delivery guy delivered it he ruined the corner of a wall stripping the dry wall to the metal corner as well as scratched out brand new finished floor. When we called, Mike the manager said that they are not to bring in the material but if they do, they do it as a courtesy. Never was this told to us. They claimed they can't have anyone to come out and fix their mistake. Horrible business and they just don't care about their customers. Will never use them again or any of our other remodels!

Worst customer service ever! They wouldn't stand by a company warranty they are supposed to. They ignored my calls for a month, they lied, they threatened my wife over the phone to never speak or follow up again. Very sad.

It was busy and they seemed a little under staffed, but excellent service and knowledge of product line. They have an outstanding display of different composite deck materials and colors. Best variety I have seen of different brands, lines, and colors of composite decking (life-size models, not just literature or small pieces).

My favorite lumber yard and kitchen cabinets supplier for last 30+ years.
Last two years I am finding great prices on good quality porcelain and ceramic tiles.
All employees are knowledgeable, very polite and ready to help you out.
I and my employee love to shop at Fox Home Center.
Kitchen cabinet experts have made my customer's very happy with great designs, product selections, customer's service.

Have been shopping at Fox for years, they always have much better quality of lumber than you'll find anywhere else. I've always found the sales people to be very polite and helpful whenever I have had questions.
