There are no words to describe the customer experience at the Four Seasons. They are the leaders in customer service and I have never been more impressed by a hotel like this in my life. From the gym to the concierge to the app to the house keeping staff that untangled my jewelry, every moment and interaction was well thought out and intentional in making sure I had the best customer experience. The waitstaff are exceptional as well so please give them our praise!

If you are considering a stay at the Four Seasons absolutely book.

Thank you for setting the bar so high!

Started off by asking for proof of my OMA membership that I don't usually carry. None of my other colleagues were asked, consistency would be nice when made to feel that I was the only one trying to scam for better rates. Luckily I was able to find my membership on my phone when a showing a simple email from OMA wasn't good enough.

I had booked 2 rooms under my name (as I am allowed under one OMA membership) and advised the employee to make a note on the other room so as to not ask for membership, when my guests arrived, however this ball was dropped as well.

Someone else's packages were delivered to my room, thank god I got it back to them.

Breakfast took 2.5 hours from beginning to end. Server was not good. Expensive for what you get.

Despite all this the people who work there are all very nice. Rooms are nice. Hotel is beautiful. Near good shopping and restaurants.

Likely won't stay there again for the price of what you get.

They somehow lost my credit card information after paying the bill at dinner. They then called me two days later to provide them a card number over the phone. Unprofessional, unsafe and not what I expected from an establishment such as this. I certainly will not go back, and will advise others not to as well.

I've wanted to try this spa for awhile, so I was really happy when a Groupon came my way for a 60 minute aromatherapy massage and back scrub.

I checked the place out online before I made my appointment so I knew there were water therapies and a steam room. The steam room was going to be under construction until mid-March so I booked my Groupon for the end of March, right before it expired! I'm glad I did b/c the steam room was really nice. It even had a shower in the steam room in case you got too warm.

I really like their change room. They have some of the most relaxing waiting areas I've been, with big comfy couches instead of just having benches in the change room. Even the lounge chairs while you're waiting for your treatment are really comfortable. They also have a lot of space in the pool area. I was a little disappointed that there were kids splashing around in the pool when I got there and realized that it was open to hotel guests as well. While I'm not a fan of the water therapies being a separate area for spa guests only, the pool area itself was really nice. There was a large pool, a small wading pool with seating it you wanted to get your legs wet, a substantial sized hot tub and lots of comfortable lounge chairs, couches and outside lounge chairs.

The treatment itself was very relaxing. I had a choice of 4 oils. I choose spring. I also had a choice of 6 different music stations. My masseur explained everything that was going to happen, checked if the pressure was okay, the table temperature was okay, but mostly spoke to me before the treatment so that I wasn't disturbed during the treatment.

This place was so relaxing and really gives Elmwood a run for its money. I just wish I gave myself more time to enjoy the water therapies and the quiet rooms.

Definitely worth the treat. Watch out for Groupons and specials online. The treatments can be a bit pricey, but when you make use of the facilities it's well worth it.

REPOSTING REVIEW OF FOUR SEASONS SPA FOR VISIBILIT...

REPOSTING REVIEW OF FOUR SEASONS SPA FOR VISIBILITY:

I want to start off and say I am not the type of person to write a negative review. However, my experience tonight at the Four Seasons Spa has compelled me to document the lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability that one should expect from an "award-winning hospitality" provider.

My partner booked an appointment for herself on Monday, November 12th, 2018 @ 7:15 pm and a couples' massage on Saturday, November 24th @ 7:15 pm. Both appointments did not take place so we cannot comment on the actual service itself. From what we hear it's great but we will never know.

What happened:
My partner went to her appointment on November 12th but was told it was cancelled the massage therapist was sick. The spa reception claims they called and emailed my partner of the cancellation but she never received a phone call. The funny thing the spa reception did not even have her number on file so they blatantly lied to her about calling.
The spa reception offered the use of the amenities (pool, hot tub, sauna, etc.) and a complimentary massage for her next visit. Albeit a little sad, she was completely understanding of the cancellation and accepted the offer. Please note that at this time my partner confirmed our next appointment scheduled for November 24th, 2018.

Fast forward one week:
I received an email from Shane McMackin from the spa reception on November 17th, 2018 to move our couples' massage just 15 minutes later to 7:30 pm. The email (attached) clearly stated that they would move both mine and my partner's appointment to the new proposed time of 7:30 pm. We didn't think this was an issue and said to go ahead.

Fast forward one more week:
We started our day both excited for our couple's massage. We made sure to keep our phones on us and checked our emails regularly (inbox, junk, etc.) to make sure that there was no cancellation. Upon arrival at the Four Seasons Spa, we met with Shane McMackin and another receptionist. I stated my name and was informed that my male attendant was ready (we had booked a female but at this point, I didn't care). However low and behold, my partner's appointment was cancelled.

Shane explained to us that her reservation was cancelled "two days ago" but we NEVER contacted them to cancel any appointment. Both receptionists did not take any accountability for the mysterious cancellation explaining it was authorized by someone in the reservations department.

At this point, both my partner and I were visibly upset. You would think that after her first failed encounter the spa would take extra care for the second visit. We signed up for a couple's massage but instead, she was offered a complimentary facial which she declined because that's simply not what we made an appointment for. I decided at this point to cancel my appointment because I did not want to have a massage alone. In addition, we were then offered a complimentary dinner but we were under-dressed (think Lululemon's and running shoes) because we only intended to go to the spa. Lastly, Shane McMackin gave us his card and once again offered complimentary visits for our next booking. They can keep offering complimentary services but I have absolutely no faith in the Four Seasons Spa that it will happen. Time is not cheap and we simply cannot afford to show up again only to be disappointed.

Thank you for taking the time to read this rant/review.

Spectacular! From service, to food, to magnitude of decor; this is a must see stop for even the most discerning hotel guest. Everything I would expect from a Four Seasons, and a true gem in the city of Toronto!

The food was expensive but not substantial, service very slow and dining upstairs was in an airy, open space with lots of ambient noise. Going downstairs after dinner to enjoy the DJ, we were told we weren't allowed to sit down (despite having just spent over $800 to dine there). It was OK but certainly not good value for money or very welcoming.

Beautiful room. Wonderful service. Perfectly acceptable gym. It's a Four Seasons Hotel in the city where they started but in a new building. Particular shout out to the concierge who worked with us on our plane tickets and the front desk that gave us an extra special late checkout because they could. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Toronto

Visited the "Spa in the Sky" which is the 19th floor transformed into a mini spa with treatment rooms etc. We went for a neck and shoulder massage and it was wonderful. We were greeted with prosecco and given complimentary passes for when the new spa opens. The massage table was huge and the most comfortable I've been on; made with heated memory foam. The RMT was excellent and really gave a good deep tissue massage that I asked for.

No such hotel cannot be compared to four seasons! Beautiful building, great staff services, great room services, and great fitness room as well. The room is very clean and comfortable with complementary two bottles of water + chocolate/macaron (if you tip well). They have great restaurants around the hotel within 5 to 10 mins, so no need to be sick of hotel food! Highly recommended for anyone who wants the luxurious stay in Toronto.

Simply one of the most pleasant and luxurious possible stays in the city, Four Seasons never fails to go above and beyond in their service and delivery of an excellent experience. Their staff are highly trained to provide dedicated and extraordinary service. One of the best hotels in the city, certainly!
