Prices as good as any other grocery. Good selection of produce. Lots of specials and loss-leaders. Wide isles. Bread baked daily. Coffee shop from their own fresh-ground blends. Deli. Sushi bar.

Too high price.most stuff is over priced by 30%over other places

This Fortinos always has great vegetables in stock, they have a good vegan cheese sold in the deli, they stock a ton of vegan options throughout the store and they have several different brands of Kombucha.

In all seriousness its a grocery store, they don't do anything wrong and have been one of the more consistent stores in the area.

This place is old and it shows. Empty shelves and the prepared foods are very limited compared to other Fortinos

Although it's relatively expensive, the quality of fruits and vegetables is noticeable when we've bought from other discounted grocery stores - we've bought vegetables from other places and more than a few times, as soon as we cut them open they were damaged or already rotting inside. So, the bit of extra money at Fortinos ends up saving you money in the long rub. Now my wife and I will either do all of our shopping here or, come here specifically for fruits, vegetables and some of the specialty brands only sold here. Cleanliness is always on point and service has never disappointed.

Love grocery shopping here...plenty of fresh produce and meats...plus prepared foods

A well-stocked grocery store. Prices are a little higher than some stores, but the selection is awesome. Just watch out for that parking lot expect to have several dings and dents and watch for people not obeying the signage!

I have never seen a store that is operated so efficiently. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, and I would not hesitate to tell everyone I know to shop here. I know I always will.

As Fortinos goes, probably their lamest location. Staff don't care, prepared foods are limited and not particularly good.

I love Fortino's! They have such a wide variety of different things, wine shop, Joe Fresh, self serve coffee pod station and so much fresh veggies. Great store!

I am wheelchair-bound and blind. I need a lot of help when I try to shop and these employees at this particular store are extremely helpful and happy to do it most of the time. The only time I've had issues, management has more than made up for it to me.

Fortinos may be a bit more expensive than the average grocery store, but the service and quality that I get here makes it very much worth it.

A clean grocery store with a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, lots of isles full of a vast quantities of a variety of products, including the newer organic section of refrigerated and shelved items. Deli section is adequate but nothing to rave about. Staff is helpful. Prices are at the higher end.

We stopped in to grab salads. My husband forgot to get the dressings so I ran back in. The older lady working the salad station was angry and rude. She told me to get my own dressing when I asked where they were. She told me to open my eyes. I had to hold up the 3 clear plastic dressing organizers to show her they were empty. She yelled at a young co worker to go find me some. The poor girl looked like she was about to cry. She went to the back of the store and returned a few minutes later apologizing it took so long but she didn't know where to look and had to ask someone back there, and was only able to find 3 packets. I thanked her for her time..... but also felt bad for her having to Finnish her shift with such abuse

Great produce, great deli, great bakery and great selection... Prices, not so great. I can do half of mi bi-weekly grocery shopping for the same price I paid for a few items. I bought cereal, milk, two bags of Ritz chips, freezies (pc brand) cinnamon buns, two pieces of rotisserie chicken, a small broccoli salad and potato wedgesand a one or two other items and it came to over $80.00! My biweekly groceries include these items as well as all of my produce, dairy products, bakery items and more, and it comes to about $160.00. I found the prices were a bit expensive but the produce was very fresh and appealing. Some things are worth paying a bit extra for, however I will probably continue to do most of my groceries at a different grocery stores.

Love going to Fortinos ...good place to get meat ...or fish ...also i fine the staff to be on top of everything ...keep doing what u do thanks.

Really enjoyed visiting this Grocery store. The variety and quality was wonderful, however, many items overpriced. The lady in the clothing dept. was kind and very patient with an overtired traveler.

This is the best place to shop and wonderful service

I totally forgot i was in hamilton. Good job. Very nice store. Love the attention to detail. Wide aisles, clean and beautiful merchandising. I miss the days of a relaxing stroll through the aisles with music. Sadly there are no fortinos where i live.

It a find place to stop if you need an item or two but not very inviting.

Close it down already! Obviously Fortinos has given up on this old location...so shut it down already!

Downside is the bakery and the other food segments are on opposite sides of the store but other than that, pretty normal Fortinos

Prices are high, but it's a fantastic store - bar one manager who has a bad habit of chewing his employees out on the floor.

Loads of hot foods, a bakery, a great selection and a friendly staff make this a great store!

Always the quickest place to pick up a six pack of beer

Yesterday my partner and I went into the grocery store for the first time in 4 months. We were impressed with fortinos systems but mostly so impressed with our cashier Sebastian. He was sooooooooo friendly, and very very kind. Asking if we are staying safe and if our families are as well. Both my partner and I left feeling so happy and we agreed we needed to write a review about Sebastian. Really made our first grocery shop in months feel really nice. He s amazing!!!

Clean, organized, great variety, social distancing, great staff.

Great produce, but pricey. You get what you pay for though. Amazing staff that are always happy to help you find stuff. They have done a wonderful job with steps to avoid COVID spreading at this location.

Pretty much exactly the same as a Metro but with a better hot/ready food section.

It's fine for the grocery necessities, brightly lit, and nice that it has self checkout. The lack of a full Pane Fresco hurts, considering it's so close to my work, but that's personal. The parking lot is a nightmare though.

I wish the store would have more Ontario/Canadian products and use less plastic on their products. At least use recyclable plastic.
