We took our Grumman Olsen P42 Workhorse Mobile Christian Music Step Van to Ray s Champion Spring for a front end alignment and Thank God that we did because while it was there Mike discovered leaking deteriorated/rusted rear brake lines which could have been a disaster and caused a serious accident if this had occurred on the highways. Thank God for this Professional and proactive team. They are very thorough, proficient, conscientious , professional, compassionate and patient. They
got my truck ready the next day.
Also thanks you Mike for your Kindness.
God Bless you and your Pro team of awesome Mechanics.

The customer service here prevented me from even advancing to the point of spending a dollar. In all fairness, I gave them 2 chances to earn my business with 4 years time between encounters. Both times I encountered Mike in Sales ("co-owner"). It literally took less than 2 minutes, both in person & on the phone, for his condescending & rude behavior to determine I would not do business with him if his services were free.

Dealt with Mike and Robin, they did an excellent job getting my International Durastar back on the road. Once all the parts arrived, they turned it around in three days (axle swap, kingpins, brakes & align). Thanks Mike. I was recommended them by our mechanic back home in Houston. Great job.

Forget what you read in the other reviews, these guys are great at what they do and have fantastic customer service. Mike is a hell of a guy and got us back on the road with our trailer as soon as possible. He and the crew and are extremely knowledgeable about what they do. We had one problem, they had 4 or 5 solutions, and were happy to explain the differences. Mike has been in the business for over 30 years, and it seems like he runs a tight ship. If you need spring or suspension work, I wouldn't go anywhere else in DFW.

Came in to order new leaf springs for my 1955 Oldsmobile 98 Deluxe Holiday Coupe and met Mike. He discussed my options and recommended that I let him correct the new springs I had previously purchased from a different vendor rather than spend a lot more money by him making me a new set. It doesn t get more honest than that. Mike had me drop off the springs with Josh who by the way was kind enough to explain the process by which he would be correcting the problem with my leaf springs. Great place to do business. Knowledgeable staff, quick service and Mike s honesty is very much appreciated.

They don't tell you up front how much is going to cost . They got a 0:00 $ cost invoice first, then they stick it to you. with a high outraged price. Don't go there. I'll never going back.xxxxxx

Went to Rays to buy timbren helper springs, before I paid I asked Mike if I was screwing up or if the timbren product would be the best way to go. He asked what I was putting them on and why, when I told him a welding truck and to keep the tires from rubbing, he very honestly and bluntly give me my answer (which I appreciate the straightforwardness)and explained that the timbren was a great product but was not meant for my application. I asked if he could get me in and out that day and he looked at the clock which read 1:10 and said yes. Added three leafs and re-arched the driver side to compensate for the weight difference and had me on the road by 4:30. Could have been 4 but I had to put my tools and stuff back on the truck. Rig rides like a Cadillac and holds the extra weight. I really appreciate Mikes straightforward advice! Saved me from spending my money and not being satisfied! The guys in the shop busted their butts and got it done right and in a timely manner!

We just drove 30 minutes to bring my Toyota Tacoma over here to have the springs fixed on it. My husband went in and the guy said without even looking at the truck there was nothing he could do for it. He would not even come out and look at the truck. Don t waste your time

I've had Ray's Champion Spring do work on two of my welding rigs. Each time I was very pleased. I found Mike Hawkins to be a man of integrity and honesty. I will continue doing business with him. If you want quality craftsmanship work done , this is the place to go. Thank you Mike

Great front end and suspension work. Best in Fort Worth.

Mike, service supervisor can hop from lie to lie with the best of them. Told the BBB one thing, American Express another. If you have work done at Ray's check your vehicle and their work, and get your old parts, BEFORE you sign the invoice. You are signing that their work was correct and that just cost me $2500 that it shouldn't have.

Always get a read on your OBD if you are taking it to Ray's for check engine, or take it somewhere else. I'd get a prior opinion on front end work too, honesty in estimates not looking so good over that way. But they do good work. Eventually.

RESPONSE TO CORY PITTS:What Mr. Pitts doesn't real...

RESPONSE TO CORY PITTS:What Mr. Pitts doesn't realize is that even thou we are a rki distributer and do warranty work for rki. When a customer just walks in the door in the middle of a work day techs are working on jobs that have been promised out that day.if we stop work every time a customer wants to have a a tool box or service body looked at we would not be able to keep our promise to those customers. It would be the same if we were working on Mr Pitts tool box and stop working on it to go look at another vehicle. As far as the double dipping as Mr Pitts put it. For one thing it doesn't matter what we think on a warranty claim . The old part has to be packaged and shipped to rki and it is up to rki decision if it is warranted not us. Rki only pays $30.00 an hour which is a far cry from our shop rate of $105.00 per hour ,plus rki doesn't pay me money they only give product credit which means I would wait and buy something from rki to even any kind of payment. If we would have charged Mr Pitts it is only due to Mr Pitts couldn't wait for rki decision on warranty. Even if that did happen we would have credited Mr Pitts any charges that he payed. So their is no double dipping. The only one at a disadvantage is this company, I have to pay for the tech ,insurance, overhead, building, ups, driver to take to ups so I don't see how getting $35.00 of product credit is anywhere profitable. We value our customers and don't mind doing warranty work for rki but it has to be worked in depending on our work load. We are sorry that Mr Pitts did not have a better experience and hope we can do better in the future.

We had tried several shops to get the vibration out of our RV with no success. We were finally sent to Ray's Champion Spring and Motor and it was repaired perfectly. Mike at Ray's gives excellent customer service and they know what they are doing. I would highly recommend this company.

I was next door at a friend's property, to see what was needed to re-wire his trailer which had been damaged in a fire. One of Ray's employees had been squatting on my friend's place, unauthorizedly, and there had been a fire. It destroyed a semi trailer, and damaged a flatbed and a hay baler. The trailer needed all the lights on the rear, and the right side. It also needed the 3 tires and wheels on that side; possibly the axles and springs.

I could never recommend anyone going here. We made arrangements to have our new 5th wheel aligned. They had us drive around to the back and wanted us to back into the stall on the end. There was no driveway there. We had to back over a large curb with the trailer and then the truck. If that wasn't enough, we were driving over grass AND a manhole that was covered with a soft rubber cover. Our tire moved the cover and it began to slide sideways when we stopped. The men working there said they knew it was a problem but it's what they expected us to do. We said no and we drove away. This garage is dirty, unkempt and does not have up to date equipment.

Worst service ever! Went in because they were the closest warranty dealer for my toolbox. The very nice older lady up front pages Mike who was a total prick. I asked if they could look at my toolbox real quick and let me know if they think it's a warranty thing or if it would be on me. He told me to come back next Friday and they could look at it (I went in on a Friday) I told him I could come back next week to drop it off but would appreciate 3 min in the parking lot to let me know and be told me that they didn't have time to come out in the parking lot until next Friday and it would be even later until they would get to work on it!!! Also he said I would have to pay labor to install it but the manufacturer said that labor was paid by them so I feel like they are scamming and double dipping!

Everyone was super friendly n helpful.
I dropped off my springs to change bushings but also talked to Ray about some recent changes in using my truck and he suggested adding 2 leafs each side.
Truck sits exactly how I want it.
