Lots of different items, I got some erlenmeyer flasks from them for a project. They didn't have any bags do transports them due to Christmas sales.

You will find something you want that you really don't need.

You would think that the more expensive items would still be good quality but most of the time the products break or are in horrible shape.. guess thats what you get for shopping at a second hand store

It's fun to see all crazy products you find there. It is one of the most unique stores in London. You can find some pretty obscure things you wouldn't normally see or even think exists

Ordered a Frigidaire dehumidifier, great reviews on the brand,. It seemed like a great deal, so I took a chance on Forest City --as a Western grad. The machine seems to work so far but what really bothers me is that clearly, it has been used. The water tank had black mildew on the bottom, as though water had been left to evaporate after someone turned it off. The machine itself was covered in dust and dirty finger prints. No original packaging, no manual, no hose which was supposed to be included. You get what you pay for I guess but I was really kind of appalled. Obviously, they knew this order was going to the other side of Ontario. Hardly easy to exchange! Doesn't look like I'll be placing future orders!

So much variety at this store. It takes at least an hour to get a decent look and its impossible to leave empty handed. Prices are better than "free shipping from china" on ebay and better quality too. Staff are helpful when you need them to be and leave you alone when you just want to browse. Gets crazy busy sometimes, i recommend stopping by in the evenings. I go after work, wait out the rush hour traffic as a bonus. Also ... the poutine stand outside is well worth a try. Highly recommended.

Ordered my 1st MRE ever from this store. I found the online process easy, there was lots of good product info and even some example videos. I was a little down when I got my order confirmation in that it said they would process the order within 7-10 business days. But actually it got processed the next business day in my case. So very fast service, nice fresh ration pack in great condition. Minimum order of $20. which seems very reasonable. I'll definitely get more MRE's from this site again!

This place is like a candy store for anyone who wants toys, games, clothes, furniture anything you can think of is under one roof friendly vendors with great products at a decent price. Seen a tv there for like 600 bucks was almost tempted to buy it. You always end up buying something you didn't even think you could find. Great deals, so much random stuff. Went for an A/C adapter, left with a bagfull of randomness.

Products are hit and miss. Some of the staff can be hit and miss too. I find myself surprised at times when I ask a staff member where something that I know they carry is and get a lazy response like "were sold out of that" and then I find a whole box of what Im looking for. Other times its the complete opposite and I find myself impress!

If you need wires for your stereo, satellite or TV, This is the place. You need inexpensive camping stuff, This is the place You need extension cords, or inexpensive car repair tools, Yep This is the place.

You can find here, what maybe you can't find elsewhere. Thing is, you have to pay attention. Many, many things, are gone by the time you figure it out. For instance, I do long distance travelling in a vehicle, and have been annoyed by always pulling over, and shoving pants down to Pee. Now, thanks to this store, I have the PeeZ. Works great. Sure you can find it online. But I paid a third of the price at Forest City Surplus. So, check out this store. It's worth your time.

The place is so wild. You go in and there is a ton of stuff you didn't even know you needed or wanted, but it's reasonably priced and can make your life easier in some way.

Bought a few things at the store today and when I left I never tried on the headphones. When I arrived home I had realized that they didn't work. After looking in the bag for the receipt I noticed it wasnt there. I walk back in 30 mins later and ask the lady if she remembered me from earlier and she had said she did and when I explained the headphones didn't workand I just wanted to trade them for a working pair, seeing as I had them less then 1hr. She begins to tell me that she can't trade them without the receipt. What a sad pathetic store. I left the headphones on the counter and told them to keep them. I burned more premium gas driving back there then the headphones where even worth. I'll never spend my money in that store again and now realize why everything is so cheap there. You get what you pay for.

Man I love this place. They have it all from cheapie low quality goods to excellent value quality stuff. They are the air soft authority and have something for everyone. It's a place u want to pop in occasionally to see what new surplus goods they have this time. Great place for the DIY'er and electronics tinkerer. Look here for any military goods and Halloween needs. If you have someone who is hard to buy for cruise their isles and you'll find something for sure. They sell or sold Trump toilet paper which is hilarious. Take a look you'll be back.

Lots of everything, great novelty items. Staff very unfriendly, said hi to cashier he just looked at me and said price. All of them seemed unhappy.

They have a lot of cool stuff that you will probably never need and others that could be quite useful. It you like military clothing than this could be like a candy shop for you.

Just about anything and everything under the sun here. Seriously. Great prices on basics. Less busy during week.

Just bought a Thinkpad T420s from these guys yesterday morning. Have bought Thinkpads from them before and they were always good machines. Do your own due diligence though when you are checking laptops here out, as they are all used/off-lease units (battery life, cracks/blemishes, functionality). Price was reasonable considering the good specs i was looking for (i7, SSD, high resolution, dedicated graphics). I may have been able to find something cheaper in the used market but it would have been limited to saving the taxes. Wish they had a slightly better warranty policy. Existing policy is 30 days on repair/replacement or store credit. They should be able to offer 90 day warranty. But, if this laptop is bricked in the next 30 days it's still better than buying a used unit with absolutely no warranty. Price was similar to online comparable unit. Being able to touch and feel the exact unit i was buying was a better experience than buying online.

It's a surplus store and flea market on weekends. Always lots of things to browse through.

Surprised at how good their camping supplies were stocked up when many other retailers are finding it hard to source goods.

Although like everywhere, prices slowly creeps up, this is still an interesting store to browse. In a city full of chain box store Forest City Surplus is quite unique.

This place Rocks ! I live just around the corner from there and find it great. They have all sorts of stuff that you need and lots you didn't know you need. The advertising and product placement give it a really eclectic feel. Also they are usually playing oldies via sattelite which I find comforts most and I see many singing along quietly. Over all don't go here broke because you gonna see 15 things you like/ want. Once you get to know the types of stuff they carry if your local you might find yourself thinking I'll try Forest City surplus first like me ? If your not local they have a fairly good website which I've also searched many times before I even went to know what's in store. It's very up to date.

Something for everyone. The store could use a clean up but it is a surplus store so a lot of inventory. I have bought great items for cheap. You still have to watch what you buy though. Some items very cheap and dont work all that great.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Did curbside pick up. I ordered the World Famous Privacy Tent. They gave me North 49 insta Privy. Same cost on their website but not same value at all. I needed something bigger and better quality, such as what I actually ordered. Not cool at all to substitute product with no communication with the buyer. I had sent my son to pick it up as he was in London anyway and we live a good distance away and I would never had ordered it otherwise. Now I am stuck with a tent I didn't order and don't want. Be very leary of ordering online and check your orders carefully when picking them up.

I only come here if I want to buy flags from the Flea Market on the weekends. A lot of thugs who are under the influence sometimes goes here. The guy who sales flags even sell the Confederate battle flag, and some other unique flags there. I do not nessesary buy anything since it is usually knick-knacks and stuff that I do not need from here. I would rather buy my flags online from eBay next time or the Flag Shop by Exeter Road in London, Ontario next time. I bought the flags I wanted, and the guy could not have the World War 1 German War flag in his inventory, or any historical flags. The Province of Ontario flags is usually in poor design and the provincial emblem is not really properly detailed from the Ontario flag. The Portuguese flag with the seven yellow castles on the shield is not very detailed. This is my last time buying flags from this place.I buy my flags from somewhere else such as eBay, Flag Shop or Amazon.
