They refuse to report to Equifax and have allowed an old file to be incorrectly reported. The customer service representative Miguel was rude and indifferent. They adamantly refuse to update my credit information with Equifax. Claiming they ONLY update information with TRANSUNION.

Awful experience. 2 months prior to my lease ending I was contacted saying that no less than 45 days prior to my lease end I would be contacted by a company to set up an inspection on my vehicle. It was explained that this would give me the opportunity to fix anything on the vehicle in advance rather than being charged. I was never contacted and any effort I made to contact Ford credit Canada got me nowhere. Even the dealership brushed it off as no big deal. Then I receive my bill a month after the lease ended and am charged for leather stains! Something I had warranty on!!!!!!!!! But I was never given the opportunity to use the warranty because the inspection was done after my vehicle was given back. I called Ford credit Canada and was told at first that the inspection had been put on hold that's why it didn't happen before. Further into the conversation I'm told that I must not have answered my phone and they called several times. There was no accountibility for their broken process. I was actually told I the customer should've followed up more and it was my responsibility to get the inspection. I was told I didn't know how to communicate and that she was going to hang up because I clearly wasn't able to understand.
Feels like a money grab Ford! Insoeft vehicles after the client gives them back so you can charge more. Thanks alot.

The level of incompetence of this company is beyon...

The level of incompetence of this company is beyond words. Three different phone calls, three different answers as well as they have acknowledged errors on their part regarding our loan. To be fair and reasonable you need to honour your commitment as we have. If you are incapable of honouring the made arrangement, you will loose any future business from us, however I get the impression you don t care as we are just one of many thousands of your clients. My business go to honest respectable companies. Prove your worth and before you piss me off even more.

Ford Credit would choose to lose out on five-years...

Ford Credit would choose to lose out on five-years' of interest instead of sharing a $450 fee to remove my ex-husband from my auto loan (without whom I'd qualify fine; I work in Finance). Funny...that's a GREAT customer retention strategy.

I've had a Ford since 2013 and just paid it off this year. Bought brand new in Ontario with 0% interest and moved it to Alberta with zero issues. I have never had to call their customer service line once in the last 6 years as everything was always smooth and straightforward. Would absolutely buy another Ford through Ford Credit in the future.

Sales lied, service lied, credit lied. WON'T HELP, WON'T FIX MY TRUCK, WON'T DO ANYTHING !! but if I miss a payment they will ruin my credit. If I get a lawyer they said they would refuse to even talk to me. I will never buy a Ford EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE!!

These guys deserve a better rep. They are always polite, to the point and helpful. They offer extensions if needed and are understanding. I have never had a better customer experience than I do with Ford Credit. Much appreciated team.

Credit was approved, then cancelled without client permission. Salesman was rude and asked don't go to any other Ford dealership even visit or apply for a credit the reason was because client could not get insurance for the car and salesperson got mad. Lawyer looking into this situation.

They say they want to help canadians through this time but they actually try to charge you to extend your payments and while other companies are extending for 6 months they only give 3 months. And every time I tried to call before the call would be disconnected, then this time I call and says she cant hear me, no problem on my end I made sure to call someone else to be sure. GET IT TOGETHER! Guess I should have bought a Chevy. Last time I'm getting a Ford ever.

Traded my ford focus for a jeep cherokee over a month ago. Trade in covered what was owed to ford. A week later they took a payment from my bank and Im still waiting for reimbursement. Its the 21st century and they are still using canada post mail to send it out. Funny how they cant do direct payments into my bank but they can take it out from there. I'll never buy ford again.

I have always had a good experience dealing with ford credit. I went through some tough times when I was younger and they were the first company to offer me prime rates with little money down. Every time I phoned for assistance they were always willing to help.

THIS WOULD BE ZERO STARS IF I HAD THE OPTION!!! They gave my 18 year old a loan for a vehicle he obviously could not afford. Did not perform a proper credit check . His name and address were incorrect on the application by fault of the dealership. Thankfully this momma could get him out of this financial mess. So thank you Ford Canada!!!! SHAME ON YOU!

Your system for invoicing customers who are on lease extensions is absolutely horrible because you in fact do not invoice them but just wait and hope they pay you even though they dont even know where to send their payment
It blows my mind that after coming off auto chequing you assume your customers number one have to write you a cheque monthly and two know where to send the payment. How would one know that without a monthly statement sent to them?

I AM A 2ND TIME LEASE CUSTOMER OF FORD CREDIT AND WHEN I CALLED THIS MORNING TO FIND OUT MY PAYOUT AS I AM BUYING TEH CAR, A GIRL NAMED BETTY PICKED UP THE PHONE AND SAID SHE CANNOT GIVE ME THE PAYOUT AND I HAVE TO CALL THE SAME DEALERSHIP WHERE I BOUGHT IT, ALTHOUGH I HAD THE PAYOUT FROM SOMEONE FROM FORD CREDIT OVER THE PHONE LAST WEEK, I JUST WANTED TO CONFIRM THE EXACT DOLLAR AND CENT AS I WAS IN THE BANK TO MAKE A BANK DRAFT, SHE WAS SO STARIGHT "NO" AND REFUSED FOREVER AND WHEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR.........SHE SAID THAT SUPERVISOR WILL CALL WITHIN 48 HOURS (REALLY????????????????????????) No stars for this company or Macklin Ford Dealership. Over 4200.00 for an extended warranty and no reimbursement when we sold the truck 12 weeks later. You people and are a bunch of crooks.

I've work at a privately owned dealership since 20...

I've work at a privately owned dealership since 2007, and I work with Ford credit weekly, some weeks it's every day. Compared to major banks, when it comes to loans for our clients, Ford Credit are more willing to give loans to clients with mixed credit history. They've helped a bunch of my clients with deferred payments. IMO Ford Credit is great! Was shocked to see a low google review score. Word of mouth from my clients when I touch base with them is 99% positive, but I guess leave it to the 1 in a hundred to go and leave a poor review vs the majority who are happy and don't bother writing a review.

I wish I could give zero as a rating. Never have I ever had such trouble switching around baking information. The dealership I bought from has faxed my information twice now and I personally have three times. Very disappointed and Ford Credit will NEVER have my business again. Thanks for wasting my time.

Incompetent. Set up my payments through City Ford, supplied a void check. Got a phone call saying they haven't received a payment. Demanding that I set a date to send them a payment. What the hell? Somebody there doesn't know how to do their job. I called my salesman, he said it's the third time it's happened this week! I pulled out the white folder I got from City Ford and called the number listed for Ford Credit and it sent me to a cruise line! I am VERY unimpressed!

Want your credit ruined?. They are to incompetent to process a payment after giving them everything they need upon signing papers! Without contacting me upon their first screw up, then on the second time they call. Completely Ford Credits fault, thru failure to communicate with the purchasing dealership, but the credit bureaus will still see it as missed payments. Lesson learned, wish I cud give back this over priced truck, no longer trust this financial outfit. Neither should you!

I like my Ford vehicles, but after dealing with Ford credit I will NEVER buy another.

Not only did they lose two cheques totalling 40k.. Not once, but twice! And still 2 years after buying out the vehicle, they have still not taken the lean off.

These people are utterly useless.

Save yourself the hassle and buy a Toyota. They hold their value better anyways.

Amid the Covid-19 global crisis, Ford Credit manages to offer incentives like up to 6 months of free and/or deferred payments in order to attract FUTURE buyers, of their inferior products IMHO.
However, those who ALREADY own their vehicles, are given no respite in these financially challenging times.

This would be ZERO stars if it could be. In February I received a letter stating i was reaching my last payments and the amount owing. I sent the amount owing in 2 separate payments and was ecstatic because after 5 years my cars paid off! UNTIL i received a call from collections saying that I needed to pay my balance immediately. I then contacted ford because they hadn't contacted me in the past 2 months. To find out they received my payments but just didn't add them to my account and close it off. My credit has now been dinged for 2 months by collections for their mistake on my PAID IN FULL car. I will NEVER use Ford Credit again, nor will i buy a ford ever again as mine has had nothing but issues since purchase. Pathetic company

After writing off my vehicle and sending them the cheque for 42000 I have had to wait almost a week and maybe more from what I hear from them. Insurance took the rental back as a deal was made and now I can't get to work and ford doesn't seem to interested in helping. All they say is "can't promise anything" so now I'm out 1500 from work and still no vehicle. I will never buy another vehicle from ford for the rest of my life

This company has its ups and downs but when we talked to them and they needed to send us paperwork they actually followed up and called me back (within an hour) to verify numbers when they had an issue sending the fax. Not many companies do this and rely on you to call them back and wait on hold and hope to get the right person. Been with Ford Credit for our trucks for 5 years and they are always willing to talk about any and every option to help us.

Trying to lease buyout.
-Ford Credit Canada says they will fax the local dealer the bill of sale
-Nothing all day, so I call the local dealer the next day. They received nothing
-I call Ford Credit Canada ask them if they sent it, verified the fax number they insist yes we sent it. Local dealer still has nothing. They say they will fax again within an hour. Two hours later still nothing
-so I call once again, and say I swear to god I will call every hour on the hour everyday until you fax it. We ll magically it got faxed within fifteen minutes. Never buying a Ford again.

I have had nothing but financial problems this winter and ford credit stood by me and helped me find solutions so I could keep my vehicals , worked with me every step of the way . Hats off to ford credit and thank you.
