Love Great Food? Get Foolish! Creative Menu Executed With Love!
Generous portions of pretty good food, and we were seated quickly for brunch on a Sunday morning!
Bottom line: quirky place with great service that delivers decent breakfast.
I tried this place on the recommendation of numerous locals as a good breakfast place. The atmosphere is very quirky and very casual. The type of feel you'd get with a hole in the wall diner that serves delicious food. This place is no by a hole in the wall but it did serve delicious food.
I ordered the Mushroom Crepes. The presentation took me by surprise because it looked almost like sausage biscuits and gravy. The overall flavor was delicious but the crepes were a little too thick and the potatoes were just alright (some cold, some warm, none hot).
I ate here for breakfast, went out for a hike and came back for lunch. Awesome place. Food was so good and it was made so fast. All the staff were friendly. I really enjoyed this place!
Had a great meal and service was great. People where super nice and there homemade chips where amazing, also the BLT guacamole was amazing. Would definitely go there again. You guys would love it
Fairly busy on a Sat morning after 10am. Expect a wait. Friendly staff, decent food, good atmosphere.
Clearly coasting on their "legacy" of being on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (2011), but sloppy with food preparation and clearly using frozen food.
We started off with the Millionaire Bacon, which was nice and crispy. However, our main dishes fell far short of our expectations. I ordered the corned beef hash with sunny side up eggs and wheat toast - I received dry and veggie-heavy corned beef with over-easy eggs and no toast. Simultaneously, the person at the table next to me got sunny side up eggs when he'd ordered scrambled. The waitress fixed my neighbor's mistake, but I didn't send mine back because I don't mind - but the order was still wrong. I had to ask for my toast, and when I finally got it, the edges were burnt.
Food was good but the service wasn't great. Food took over 45 minutes and when we got the food, we could tell some had been sitting for a long time (hot plates and bread on one of the sandwiches was hard). The waitress only came by to get our order and give us the check.
Love this spot! Awesome beer and staff and just a really fun, eclectic space. Good variety of food and drinks-hidden gem!
There s a reason these guys have been in business for so long!
Food was alright but overpriced and the service wasn't good. We did not get any refills on our $3 coffee, the eggs in the benedict were overcooked, and the house potatoes were dry. The decor is adorable and the vibe is good, but the atmosphere/brand is definitely baked into the price.
Food was okay, service was pretty slow, waitress was hardly available, took forever to get check
Went to Foolish Craigs after Snooze was packed. Pleasant surprise. Great food. Definitely more of a college crowd. But delicious.
I LOVED this. Foolish Craig s is easily one of the best places in Boulder. Got the southern breakfast and I WILL get it again. It was a crazy windy and cold day but the new outdoor seating was great and the staff was super accommodating.
The smell alone.... Life changing! Such a great place and a total locals find.
Hands down by breakfast joint we've ever been to! Don't even waste your time anywhere else!
Ate breakfast at Foolish Craig's three times and lunch once while visiting Boulder....kept wanting to go back and try more menu items! Service was friendly and fast, food was great. Looking forward to next trip and more meals!
Very busy spot. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I had the bagel sandwich and it was huge! Came with eggs, sausage, cheddar, cream cheese, onion, and tomato. As a side, I ordered the potatoes. The sandwich was stuffed( I only ate 1/4th) the potatoes were good but needed the katchup and hot sauce. It was a great brunch meal to warm you up on a cold morning.
Loved the chicken fried steak and the service was great. didn't live the grits.
Best breakfast spot in Boulder. Locally owned and real people with real smiles. Highly recommend Foolish Craigs and Iove that they have done some flooring upgrades recently.
The place next door, Snooze's had over an hour wait, so I tried this place. The wait was a little long, but the fried chicken eggs benedict was amazing.
Did a winter getaway to Boulder and everything we got for breakfast here at Foolish Craig was delicious. Everything was fresh, hot,and seasoned well. No salt or pepper needed to be added! The grits were my favorite,French toast was perfect, strawberries were fresh. My Gf says the potatoes go crazy they were good too. Food was ready at a great time. We just loved the whole experience with you all. 10/10
Food was great, long wait for table and uncomfortable for groups or family.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Try the Homer (duh).... It's great!!
I love this place in everyway! Delicious Food, Perfect Service, View of the Mountains, Great Vibe!
I don't get it. This place is pretty bad. The service is garbage. I used to work across the street and we'd try and have some beer and fries, but there's so many times when wouldn't get beer or food brought to us. The Benedicts are bad. The burrito is just ok. I don't really care for Guy's sandwich either
Best valued plate of sweet potato fries I've had in a long time. Great place overall. Bartender was friendly
It's on Perl street so don't expect McDs prices. I had the Brie & apple jam that came with sliced brochette and was terrific.
We were only in Boulder for 3 days and this place was so good we had to come back a second time! Not sure how anyone can cook bacon so perfectly but they do. Eggs - awesome. Omelettes - delicious. Waffles & pancakes - amazing.
Bit of wait (because duh, they're great!) Kind staff and good service. Decent prices, cool locale, and hip setting.
If I lived in Boulder I could imagine being a regular here.
Good food, really good crabcakes, slow service though, head to ask for a refill after not seeing waitress for 30 minutes since we ordered. Would go back but service needs improvement.
Always delicious!! Such a great, local spot for lunch or a place to bring in out of towners for a taste of Boulder.
In town for a short visit, stumbled upon this great little place! Fun atmosphere! Service was great, had multiple waitresses come over to help us get tourist ideas while we are here! We had breakfast....sooooo good!!! And great coffee too, will definitely come back!
Delicious skillet breakfast Highly recommend joining the wait-list ahead of time, however we were seated right away. Quality food & quick service.
Surprise! This is a breakfast place, and it's awesome. I had no idea. So glad I checked it out.
Nice and cozy little cafe with great food and very friendly service. Even though it's a relatively small place, they are very friendly with our stroller and high chair for our daughter.
The food was very tasty and prepared fresh. We will definitely come back here.
Great breakfast in a low key old school place. The biscuits were delicious and I highly recommend the cornedbeef hash. The omelets were huge and filled with great veggies.
4/5 for service, food, price, and atmosphere.
1/5 for having a horrible picture of Guy Fieri up on the wall above the bar for years.
Not sure if it's still there (please correct me if you've removed it) - I won't eat at a place that proudly promotes his awful likeness for all to see. All of the terrible things I've heard from personal friends who've met him and/or claims of racism/sexism about him aside, looking at his horrible mug while eating makes it incredibly difficult to keep your food down.
So 2/5 Average. Management - please remove the picture and send me pics then I'll update my review to a 4/5!
Great pub food. fresh , well prepared ingredients. The outside seating on a beautiful, sunny day is glorious.
Way better than Snooze for breakfast. Good cocktails (any time of day). I like the foolish Craig.
Food was decent. Definitely a small space so the atmosphere for brunch is a bit loud/cramped.
Greeted as we entered.
Started with a crepe to share. I had waffle, bacon, eggs over easy and potatoes. Granddaughter had chicken and waffle, scrambled eggs, potatoes. Our 3rd diner had a stuffed crepe called Altitude adjustment. Coffee was so-so.
Our portions were adequate. As we left I said goodbye. No one acknowledged us as we left, said thank you, come again, or have a nice day.
We came here before and it wasn't that bad. This time, everything was cheap. Cheap food, cheap service, cheap attitude To start, flies all over. Then, the coffee mug they brought had incredibly obvious dark red lipstick marks. We could not believe it when we looked at the water glass, same lipstick marks. The waiter's attitude was like "oh well" When the food came it was another disappointment: poached eggs cold, house potatoes overcooked, dry and tasteless veggie sausage
One of my all time favorite breakfast places! Amazing gluten free options.
Breakfast place on Pearl St, sit outside and watch people walking by. High quality food.
Excellent food, good prices. Great service and a fun atmosphere. Absolutley the food will bring you back!
Excellent food and service. Can be crowded at times.
Finally ate here!had the huge breakfast burrito smothered in green chile sauce..2good!what!you drank an ipa with your breakfast burrito...mmmm good idea!!good food choices and great drink selections.small patio on the walk if you like prost!
Favorite brunch spot in Boulder. Eggs Benny is my fave. Mimosas are so good!
Good service, employees were very chill and polite. Delicious food and coffee. Plenty of options to choose from. Even though it was busy we got seated fairly quickly. Would recommend!
Excellent staff, excellent breakfast sandwiches, excellent bar!
Been eating here for 15 years. Its busy early but worth it. Good mix of people, college, tourist, and families. And as always the food is
The corned beef and the chorizo benedict were both great!
Good atmosphere and GREAT food! Very friendly service, too.
The 1/2 BLT & cup of minestrone I had for lunch was perfect. And the folks there are very nice - friendly and cheerful.
Everything on the menu sounded good but everything was a bit dry and not as flavorful as we thought it would be. Service was great. We would eat there again but probably try other menu items.
This was a great stop. It's small and tight inside, we had infants though. We were welcomed and not judged at all Wich was awesome. The food was top notch. Try the porktastic crepe as well as the Caramel rum crepe cake.
Pretty good, great food, nice vibe and ppl but kinds messy
Such a neat place to check out! We were seated right away and noticed immediately how the staff worked together with pleasant attitudes all around. The menu is very exotic with a few items labeled as being featured on Guy Fieri s DDD. The omelettes were loaded and delicious! My boyfriend ordered a bloody mary from the menu and said it was great! If you re looking for breakfast on Pearl Street, this is definitely a good place to stop by.
Great menu...fun to go to but is pretty packed at the usual busy times ie weekend brunch time. Very friendly and fun atmosphere and I love the eggs benedicts here.
One of my favorite restaurants, I always stop here when visiting Denver. Great variety and the best crapes ever!
