Foodland Review

I like this Foodland, especially the variety of hot or cold ready to eat foods. My one dislike is not enough cashiers in the mornings when I tend to shop for my breakfast or lunch, along with many others.

Great musubi and hub for different food. Plus great spot to get cash back if you need cash and only have checking accounts from the mainland.

I needed pasta that I know is only sold at Foodland. It was on sale and went to check out. Long lines but Beth helped me out. It is a great place with great customer service, at least I know Beth was great. Mahalo

Best Foodland! Great bakery and deli section. Actually, great selection of everything! We bought our hot cereal for breakfast, poke bowls for dinner, and sandwich fixings for lunch the next day. They feature locally made foods and we got our hawaiian popsicles there...chocolate and banana. Delish!

This Foodland is in a good spot underneath Nordstrom at Ala Moana. It is not a large supermarket. It is mainly providing different types of food (already made) for consumers. There are many food options, including a bar, for people to enjoy. It has a good atmosphere and is convenient for the quick pick up.

Expensive for us mainlanders but good quality and best if your budget doesn't allow for eating out. Easy walk from Hilton's Hawaiian Village. Be sure to bring your own bags.

OMG! I couldn't believe this place!! Foodland Farms at the Ala Moana shopping center is fantastic!!! It has everything you need as far as groceries and more. I've never seen that many Poke selections before, so much to choose from! Staff was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back the next time I visit Hawaii!!!

Poke haven! Delicious food and wine bars, a diverse selection of items overall. Clean, friendly service. The place is hopping!

A back up place in case the electric company is closed

Foodland farms has a great local food selection and lots of comfort food including mochi ice cream, poke. and korean fried chicken. I like the new buffet pay per pound option, and the many bentos freshly packed.

Foodland s best location- was always tough to park until the virus.. now it s easy. Great Poke! The bakery is good too.

The mgt deprives legitimate customers WiFi here. I ve been eating dinner here everyday. In the beginning WiFi was good & I was able to work while eating. Not anymore and I m getting to hate this place that for a small benefit like WiFi availability they re depriving me a customer the ability to do my most important work. I told a lady clerk to tell manager & if it s the same, I can t sacrifice my work for their greed & selfishness!

Various foods are on sale. If you go to Ala Moana, let's stop for the time being

A great place to have a glass of wine or beer and lunch in the middle of a market especially when it is hot outside...market is always cool and comfortable.

Poki mochi is delicious. I ate it for the first time in two years, but it was delicious and I ate it for two consecutive days. Recommended is oyster ahi and wasabi salmon. But all are delicious, so you get lost.

Helpful staff. The food is gorgeous and healthy. Local Hawaiian food. The checkout line was long. Otherwise a great place a great location to shop.

During my stay at Ala Moana Hotel, I used it to procure food. I had salads, poki, pizza, fried chicken, mochiise, but it was delicious without being out. Also, the system that I can buy six beers of various small vials individually was good.

For me, it is the only store in Alama Moana, Hawaii that has the best quality. You can find everything you need inside that store. It has variety of food where you can choose to eat according to your tribe and ethnicity. That is the only FoodLand store that has dining area inside so people can eat. You can find all kinds of local foods and snacks that you can bring home to your family, friends and for yourself. Workers are serving the customer with Aloha. Mahalo for visiting at FoodLand Ala Moana.

What can I tell you about this awesome Foodland. Fresh, delicious and trendy. Something for everyone. Youll keep coming back for more. Very popular and in the heart of Ala Moana Center. Well it's coming to Kapolei Ka Makana Ali'i Mall in a year. Enjoy the site, sound and smells of Aloha....Thank You Foodland.

Upscale supermarket (similar to Whole Foods) on the exterior ground level of the Ala Moana Center with a bar, a poke bar, and numerous cafeteria style restaurants in it. The poke was fantastic and at only cost $7 + tax for a bowl (with brown rice), it was better and less expensive than most other poke restaurants I've been to. I'll definitely be back.

This is the Foodlands Mega store. Due to limitations on my available time I was only able to make a quick walk thru, but this Foodland location has a much larger selection of items in all categories to choose from. Store is very modern, clean, and well lit making all the products look even newer (older stores have a dingy feel where yes, there is the product you are looking for but it doesn't have the sparkly fresh new feel this store does). I can't wait to come back when I have more time and really shop this store. I'm sure I have an updated review with more specifics then.

Perhaps my most favorite place to grocery shop while visiting Oahu. As soon as you walk in, it draws you in and makes you want to make healthy food choices w their salad bar, juice pressed bottle drinks, an amazing selection of fresh poke, hot foods, and tropical fruit galore. I absolutely love the set up and the lighting is perfect. Spacious, lots of employees around to help, and lines are never long because they have lots and lots of registers.

Lower prices; very nice looking store. Good selection of Japanese take-out food boxes, also. Good bakery. Coffee/tea restaurant in the store. Large store in a great location. Didn't see any non-food items like laundry detergent, etc., which is very unusual in a grocery store, unless I looked in the wrong direction, as the layout of the store is a little confusing. Wish there had been. Maybe the name Foodland is literal. But a great place to buy groceries.

It's okay due to healthy foods. But if you'll see a fly standing on the food, you could lose your appetite.

My go-to place whenever I do grocery shopping at Ala Manoa.

Got our delicious, healthy lunch here and enjoyed it in the dining area with some awesome fresh juice from the juice bar! Shout out to James, Store Director, for helping us choose several terrific juice flavors that are now our favorites! Love visiting Foodland Farms whenever we're in town!

Regular brands compared to all the organic stuff at Whole Foods

Decent place to shop for food. The selection is amazing and the produce is fresh/organized. Their prices are high, but it's better than whole foods by A LOT, so I'd recommend.

The clerk's response is good, and sometimes I speak in Japanese, so I'm relieved.
The display is beautiful and easy to see. I thought this famous chocolate was the cheapest one. The price was different if I went on two consecutive days, but I was not sure what kind of system it was w However, I was lucky because I could buy it for a little $ 2

However, when I was shopping at night, I encountered a person who was guilty of "changing counterfeit money." I noticed it immediately and asked for the money back, but I think it is aimed at Japanese tourists, so be careful when shopping at night! !!

Prices the best in Hawaii. In the back, Poke (marinated raw fish with rice) is about 9 bucks a bowl.
