Good well stocked store. Clean and well kept early...
Good well stocked store. Clean and well kept early in the day have great fresh poke selections.
Good well stocked store. Clean and well kept early in the day have great fresh poke selections.
Great variety of foods, drinks and the only supermarket close by.
4.5 Stars. Which is saying something since Trader Joe's is a 4-Star in my book. This place is amazing. Must visit.
Bakery, poki, meat, salad corner is very convenient.
If you are a condominium stayer and do not have a car and you have difficulty in going to Kakaako Whole Foods, I think it will be a pattern to procure here and return by trolley or bus.
There is nothing more than Target, such as hamburgers, fish, and frozen foods that are only baked.
Great place to shop...if you continue to visit Hawaii, get their membership card to take advantage of their savings and rewards
Excellent supermarket with superb choices. A bit on the pricey side but very convenient.
Seafood guy was almost done just putting on the food. But food was all ready. All I wanted was the salmon poke. But he wanted to finishing setting up first and told me to wait 30 minutes before serving me. And it was 8:15 past the seafood time when it opens so I would have to wait 8:45 for poke. I think he could have served me 1 scoop in 1 minutes. Customer service needs improvement
Excellent selection of prepared foods, local favorites, and beer & wine as well as a couple dining options in store.
Orange chicken keeps on bringing me back. Specials on a lot of items if you're a member (free membership).
It's just good for a quick meal.
Surprisingly delicious menu is abundant.
Best Poke ever! Please go here whether you ever had Poke or not! Wonderfully fresh!
If you tell the cashier the telephone number, you can buy it cheaply at the member price. Recommended because steak meat can be bought cheaply.
Loved the new foodland at Ala Moana. Wine tasting and samplings was unique
reat selection of fresh produce and ready to eat meals.
Great the grocery store very clean, price reasonable, stuff are great we went there everyday by food take back to hotel and eat. Yummy
Normally I have high regards. Hopefully this was an exception
They have like 10 different tuna poke and little mini spots with fresh coffee or pizza its like a baby mall. Organic whole milk, saki , whiskey wine , cigars etc. Awesome
The thing I like best about this place is that there are tons of items here that aren't at any of the other locations. The prices are higher here it seems probably because of the tourist population. I enjoyed browsing at all of their hot ready to eat items and their vast array of produce.
Awesome atmosphere! And some of the best poke on the island!
They're wine bar and bakery is pretty nice too, as well as the actually grocery products.
Good selection only problem is parking is hard to find at times
I love the variety of all the different foods. The breakfast bar in the morning is amazing. Foodland farms is a shopping extravaganza....truly an experience!
The price is reasonably cheap. When registering a phone number, MAIKAI card can be made on the spot and accounting becomes cheap.
Cheap Super Foodland The night has been completely redecorated Not to the hall food but now to the famous pockets with luxurious and delicious food 4K can be tasted in 5 minutes line The best part is to buy delicious food with assault In the middle of the wine bar, you can have a delicious meal with wine. You can enjoy a wide range of delicious meals as well as simple meals. It's a hidden restaurant in Alamona. I highly recommend it.
Large, well organized Supermarket, with a lot of cooked food offerings and amazingly has a Bar inside as well. Located on the ground floor of the Ala Moana mall, it is designed to cater for both locals and tourists.
They have a section of Hawaiian made products, which is perfect for souvenirs and gifts to take back home.
You need to get the loyalty card to take advantage of the discount prices, otherwise you would be paying more than elsewhere.
We always go here for food!! A lot of choices to choose from, and since the pandemic they've changed things up a bit. No open cold/hot bar, no hot soups, and everything is served pre packaged (besides poke) to reduce the spread. So far so good! Chicken here is better than costco
So I went grocery shopping one Tuesday evening after watching the beautiful sunset. I deceided to grab a bottle of wine after seven eight hours of studying for my real estate license. It was in the wrong spot and it was apparently $45. Well priorities state that was not an everyday bottle for yours truly. I asked the cashier, #108 lovejoy, to take it off. She called me a JEW. An anti Semitic remark in any context is fround upon except in the presence of 1930 Germany or in front of Soros. The lady, a term I use very loosely with this c#nt, apparently was Filipino with a dominate Catholic presence in their human rights violating country. New flash your beloved Christ was a Jewish Rabbi. So enjoy the anti Semitic statements. I hope they remedy the situation.
Really helpful when looking for something specific! Very nice young man in liquor dept. Thank you!
Varied selection, great service. Probably the best grocery for fresh meal options.
Hands best grocery store I have yet to visit, great products and service and many stations including shaved ice bar, wine bar, etc, etc, are just a bonus. Loved it!
Nice, clean, good food options. Only problem is the check out can be slow.
It's open from 5am early, so it's best to book a hotel around this shop when you cross
There are plenty of side dishes, lunch boxes and food bars, so they can answer anything your family wants to eat.
If you make a membership card, travelers will appreciate the various discounts at the cash register.
The shirakiya on the opposite side is narrow and crowded, and it's easier to shop here.
Excellent customer service. Great prices. Well laid out Store.
In the Ala Moana Mall. Good place tp pick up groceries. Tip: if you give them your phone number at the checkout, then some specific items are discounted! Good deals...look for the savings.
Only two supermarkets to choose from. this one seems to have a little more
There are many types of Japanese restaurants, and the cost-effective restaurants are dense. Most take-out
Not much difference than the Pearl City location to me, just busier with tourists. I'll stick to the PC location for my shopping...
Great place for groceries & prepared food to go.. love it!! A must..
What's not to love about the Ala Moana Food land. The Willingham store tries had but it's a little depressing.
The new Foodland Market at Ala Moana Ctr is filled with choices....fresh poke station, the Vinegar Fried chicken, Hot entrees, salad buffet, bentos, mocha ice cream...and that's just at the entrance!! You must visit there...but be careful not to go there hungry!! You'll want everything!!
Great meal deals! Store presentation is very inviting. So many people don't know about the meal deal for $7.99 - fried chicken, rice AND your choice of whatever type fresh poke you like. Great portions too! It's in the fresh fish department.
Very upscale, could spend all day in here, at least a paycheck too.
One of the best grocery stores on the island. Fresh produce, Bakery, poke station, cooked foods. Wine bar, if you are a cook or want to be cooked for, this place is for you.
I love this place it makes me feel like I am in a real country store with great food
They have quality merchandise fresh produce and the employees are a delight however I would hardly call it the land of food. I have been to the land of food and in no way shape or form is Foodland the land of food, it's more like the land of micronesians in Filipinos (who are excellent employees) in little green outfits selling produce grown in California,
In addition to be a full blown grocery store there are many different options of already prepared food such as sushi, poke bowls, a warm and cold food bar, ice cream, bakery, and the list goes on. Also there is a restaurant on site that prepares really good plate lunches of decent size.
It s pretty. But wow, overpriced. Whole Foods has many more deals and better options just down the road.
This place was really great! Reminded me of Whole Foods but lots of local stuff and things I couldn t find at other stores on the island- I never actually went to Wholefoods in Hawaii so cant compare the two. I will definitely come back here if I ever come to the island again.
Where to buy a variety of ingredients
Meals are also available at the corner.
There's a BAR in this grocery store!! $7 for a decent sized glass of beer. You can also buy appetizers at the bar or buy food in the store and eat it at the bar.
There's is also a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf inside the store and a seating area for dining.
I was amazed with the new direction Foodland has taken. Great to see a Trully local business flourish.
Lots of items and the people are very friendly. I also love the fresh fruits and veggies
So, we decided to go grocery shopping while on Oahu. This store has EVERYTHING!!! They had all the groceries we were looking for and freshly made food to enjoy right there!
And, did I mention a bar? A BAR! Sit down and have a glass of wine or beer while your partner goes shopping!!!
What a concept! LOL
Really do love shopping here. It is an experience!
Good shopping complex... Bit difficult to navigate and get a hang of the place though
Expensive, but high quality. I'd shop here for often (especially on Fridays for the wine bar) but is really rather pricey.
Love this place, best poke ever. I love their homemade cookies in the flat boxes, I buy them for all events, why should I bake, theirs are so good.
It seems to be a member price if you put out an OLIOLI card, but I forgot to put it out.
There are a lot of side dish-based sales by weight and it is fun.
I love this place! They make gourmet pizzas, noodles, bbq skewers, and other delicious food prepared while you wait or do your shopping! Their produce is fresh daily & have a great salad bar with lots of options!
Parking can be a pain if you NEED to park in front of the store. But there's plenty of parking that's easily accessible by walking. The store is clean, spacious, and has a wonderful selection of local products. Wish they'd start advertising weekly sales, like other local supermarkets but at least they're running sales... i guess. Anyways, great market!
Excellent service by Abe Jazmin on this recommendation
Foodland was there when Ala Moana first opened and then they closed. But wait, they just reopened with a major makeover.
They have over 20 types of poke! They also have a huge liquor section, thanks to R. Field. They have a wine bar where you can relax with some charcuterie and have a glass of reasonably priced wine or beer.
Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is still there and a new plate lunch place called HI steak located in the store.
Make sure you get some of their cute eco-bags!
