Amazing old theatre in the city center, good acoustic
It's always nice to go back. Lucrezia Borgia - fabulous protagonist.
The historic theater of Trieste, of classic beauty, where you sit and listen to a concert or an opera and you can immerse yourself in music
The good city lounge, where you can enjoy good music
Historic theater in the pedestrian area of Trieste, the first in Italy dedicated to the great Giuseppe Verdi! Project by a pupil of Piermarini and for some it has vague analogies to La Scala. @ gargio76
The organized tour is highly recommended. I booked the tour at the last moment and I must say that despite being the only one to have booked, the guide was very kind. He told the story of the theater in detail. The tour lasts an hour, and you visit the backstage, the audience, the galleries, the ballet rehearsal room, the choir rehearsal room, the tailor shop ... in short it is absolutely worth it!
Historical lyric theater in the city center. Works and concerts. Discreet level and good attendance. Also interesting shows off billboard. It is worth even just to see the theater. In the immediate surroundings many premises for all tastes and needs
Magnificent theater, perfect acoustics, exciting show (la traviata ) !! I will definitely be back
Theater where it is not difficult to smell the scent of culture
Austrian-style theater, symphonic and varied lyric offer of international fame. Recommended
Nice little Opera, L'Elisir D'Amore, a beautiful premiere.
A nice place to spend nice evenings and day to visit shops and bars. There is also a post office
Very nice evening, good initiative for summer evenings
It is a beautiful theater, well kept and in an excellent position, which also indicates how important it is for the people of Trieste
Wonderful theater, impossible to resist if you live in Trieste
City Opera House Equipped with air conditioning and good posters for the theatrical seasons
The Nabuco by Giuseppe Verdi, a good general rehearsal, traditional scenes and costumes ... Orchestra and chorus super !!! I would like to thank those behind the fifth, they work great !!! For the ride on stage !!!
Because the theater is beautiful even if not as famous as others. Because I have a subscription to the opera and concert season.
Stupendo Teatro is for its construction, for the shows, for a guided tour.
Very beautiful and evocative, good acoustics, the only flaw in narrow seats in the stalls
The only production opera house in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
The main theater of the city. It hosts the operatic and symphonic seasons as well as the events of the Trieste concert society.
The most beautiful theater in Trieste.A scale in reduced format.
Great food comfortable air conditioned room one step away from the sea
Symphonic music, opera and operetta. Historic Italian pride theater in the world.
Everything is well-kept, at levels of excellence. Congratulations to the fantastic work of the Superintendent and all his collaborators.
The theater is very nice and the shows are of quality
Great. Elisir d'amore by G. Donizetti. Beautiful show.
Beautiful theater, identical reproduction to the Milan scale, beautiful shows and operas, even in the original language with subtitle screen.
He is historical, charismatic, he is part of the City
A beautiful theater from the beginning of 1900 with some lyrical works chosen with grace.
Beautiful opera house overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Trieste
Historic theater of national history, like all theaters is to visit
It is the temple of opera and good music. A small scale where the musical culture inebriates and makes you dream, with works and concerts of excellent quality.
Imposing the Trieste theater, famous both architecturally and in the quality opera. Inside it's really nice
Magnificent theater. History of excellence, location of absolute charm, opera performances and high level concerts all year round
Trieste has one more star: the new director Ezio Bosso of the Verdi theater !! Too bad they didn't like it then !!
Really very beautiful and elegant theater. Calendar full of events.
New Year's Eve concert, theater full of performance, high-level interpretation
Very beautiful, historical theater. Follow the schedule on the site
City Opera House Equipped with air conditioning and good posters for the theatrical seasons
I put two fours just for the orchestral skill and for the magnificent structure, but the reception prior to the concert lesson was anything but warm and, if we want, respectful
Gorgeous but the bar is unfriendly staffed and food
The Verdi is the largest gloomy in Trieste .. on the outside there is a very beautiful piazza of the same name where a stage is set up all summer, where every evening various music and cinema events are staged, etc.
One of the most beautiful landmarks in Trieste. A must see!
The Verdi Theater was inaugurated in 1801 then with the name of Comunale, popularly Teatro Grande, Trieste had five. It takes the name of the composer of Busseto at his death in 1901 by resolution of the municipal council which will change the name also to the opposite Piazza del Teatro in Piazza Verdi. For melodrama lovers, the billboard is usually interesting, without incurring the usual criticisms that all Lyric Seasons bring with them. The orchestra, the choir and the corps are highly esteemed by the critics. The "Verdi" has hosted great names of the national and international Opera. It should be remembered that the architect Piermarini, the author of La Scala in Milan, collaborated on the design. He also saw the "Festival of the Operetta" on stage for some time, with the best artists of the moment, much appreciated by the audience that remembers him with nostalgia. I recommend at least one visit, the price is not binding.
Historical theater of Trieste, always offers many shows
I go to listen to the concerts, almost always valid and sometimes wonderful.
If not because of the pigeons that created the cruia there is also a fifth steleta, since the putele x and cocole, the bona and fresh stuff and the precious adequate for the beautiful environment.
I love opera and I can only love this theater for over sixty years
Historic theater of Trieste, it is worthwhile to enter even just for a visit to the structure, the staff is always very welcoming, the bathrooms clean though sometimes very busy during the shows, two bars always available in the intervals. For guests of the former, refreshments are always organized at the end of the show, full of food, drinks and with the opportunity to meet the singers. Guided tours are also available for schools where students are told about the functioning of the theater and its internal organs.
Wonderful structure, but the work is unbearable to me
