Very beautiful! I recommend everyone to visit the place
Fantastic museum organized very well. Really passionate guide. Highly recommended!
Too bad it is not accessible to those with disabilities , for the rest it deserves a visit that you can do on Sunday morning at a cost of 5, the other days by arrangement
Perhaps those who are not amateur radio do not fully appreciate its beauty and historicity, hence the first radiotelegraphic transmission experiments began.
Visit the villa with a wonderful guide! We discovered incredible details about Marconi's life
Too bell, you are catapulted into that time, walk the same paths, the same steps and then share the same view from the top floor, well ..... it gives you so many emotions
A place to know, unmissable for those who love physics and a reason for pride for all Bolognese
Very interesting visit, free for Card Cultura holders. The visit was led by the president of the Marconi Foundation, and by 2 radio amateurs well trained on the technical aspects. Visit focused on the technical aspects of the invention and its evolution. Very interesting and with a multimedia part, although less usable in this period. There is also a large room with a projector. Observe all safety regulations and distances.
A must visit. Interesting and engaging, a true praise to the Italian genius. The staff very knowledgeable and nice.
Visited this location for a conference. It was excellent and very inspiring. The tour was very informative and there are many hands-on activities to demonstrate Marconi's work.
Place very well maintained and well cared for, the guides were fantastic and comprehensive
The historic mausoleum is easily accessible from the main road.
Parking on the opposite side.
A little sad, but very important if you think of the discovery that Marconi made and tried in this very place.
This is a place where history has been written! For radio broadcast enthusiasts, Guglielmo Marconi's house is a reference not to be missed.
The fact that many of the recognitions of the great inventor came in the fascist period unfortunately adds an unpleasant rhetoric to certain memories, but this is part of the historical context.
Unfortunately, the foundation museum always has many requests so to visit it you need to book weeks in advance.
Interesting and comprehensive guide. The video shown on the first use of the radio by Marconi is made in an excellent way, accompanied by an excellent direction.
Unfortunately when I went the museum was closed but it was very charming, going around the villa, lonely and quiet on a cold and sunny day.
possible that Sunday, or you enter at 10 in the morning or nothing? Is absurd!
Great professionalism, humanity and patience with our first class students. You breathe the atmosphere of scientific discovery, youth studies and the growth of different cultures. Each student must make the little Guglielmo Marconi live inside each of them. Thanks to the director Dr. Barbara Valotti, Dr. Luna Pagani, Renzo, Adriano and many others, ..,
Historical estate located in Bologna was set up here as an environment where Guglielmo Marconi studied. Beautiful window where you can admire a hill. Council to anyone visiting Bologna.
A magical place that from the past explains how we arrived today at the enormous possibilities we have of communicating. Explanations within everyone's reach, very interesting display of objects.
Really very interesting Dr. the guide and the gentleman who illustrates the various techniques !! Very nice place and also the illustrative video !!!! It's really worth going and bringing the kids too !!!
To be visited not only by technology enthusiasts but also for history and costume lovers.
Very interesting to immerse yourself in the dawn of the history of our beloved radio
Museum is a reductive word. In a unique place in the world, it is possible to retrace a historical period in which changes occurred that the revolutionary, the world. Entering the rooms where a young Guglielmo took his first steps with "electrology", being able to peek at his notes, his magazines, being able to listen to his voice, see his hill from his window and make an innumerable amount of equipment work. epoch (some are faithful reproduction, but others are original machines), to make that bell ring, only thanks to the shooting of a spark produced on the other side of the room, represents a unique experience, both from an educational and cultural point of view, is historical. For those who happen around, a visit not to be missed. With the possibility of booking a guided tour suitable for everyone, from the simple onlookers who "don't understand anything about 'these things', to the most demanding enthusiasts in the industry. Thank you, a true revelation!
Interesting place. The guide was bilingual, and very smart, and enthusiastic. The monument and the stairway are astonishing, as is the Elettra ship's keel, which is buried in the garden.
Sunday 18 August I was with the family in Sasso Marconi, and I phoned to check the improbable opening time reported on the site - from 10 to 10 30. I was answered by a male voice, with a resolute and annoyed tone, that the museum is closed up to and including 20. And he attacked. There are two things: we either learn education or we do without answering. This is not the way to honor the memory of a great Italian.
A great emotion to be found in the place where Guglielmo Marconi sent the first radio signal of the history giving rise to all the wireless communications .. shame that his abbreviation and visitable only for reservations. Below you can also see the mausoleum with the tomb of Marconi.
Understanding what this man has done for humanity is illuminating!
A place full of history which is actual like the wifi
worth a visit, a page of our recent technical history is written here. I think the biggest.
Very instructive, Marconi a genius, not to be missed
A splendid museum. The human and professional history of Guglielmo Marconi always too underestimated here comes to life and shape thanks to the infinite passion of those who work there, indeed it guards with care, thanks to the competence and great availability. I recommend everyone to visit it without distinction !!
Very interesting, guided tour of a couple of hours, understandable even to non-technicians. An Italian excellence not to be forgotten. ( 5 ticket very well spent), I recommend the site for visiting times.
Guided tour carried out by competent and enthusiastic staff
Charming and well-kept place. There is an air of culture and innovation
A place dear to the Bolognese and to the Emilians but also to all Italians. Beautiful museum and well-kept gardens.
A dip in the places where wireless data transmission was invented
Interesting that can only be visited in groups but if you are alone you can join in and they open at 10 am. It is better to arrive earlier the visit lasts 2 hours
Very nice place. Too bad the foundation was closed. Slightly difficult times. However, the mausoleum is worth a visit.
Nice place with garden to visit with a great history.
Fantastic experience, a truly fascinating place to truly discover and visit. Lovely place but really special visit thanks to the fantastic collaboration of the technical consultant of the Marconi Museum Renzo Piana! A truly passionate person who manages to convey everything through his stories and explanations. We will be back!
Passion, competence, professionalism. Highly recommended.
Great museum where you can taste step by step the history of the radio.
The covid emergency did not make us fully appreciate the visit, this does not depend on the fantastic guides, but on the impossibility of experiencing in person ... see you next time!
It is definitely worth visiting the Guglielmo Marconi Foundation. You can breathe history and technology together. The place is well kept and surrounded by greenery.
Beautiful museum, and excellent guides who explain and show the works of Marconi for about two hours
Very interesting private tour! Well worth the time especially if you have an interest in the history of Radio or engineering of any sort!
Impossible not to stop who invented the first wireless communications and the radio.
Great excitement, too bad that in Italy there is no point on excellence and also Marconi for going abroad
Beautiful museum, very interesting. For those who love science it is definitely a museum to visit. Very educated and helpful guides.
Superb museum that reconstructs the birth of wireless transmission, or wireless, and the innate genius of Guglielmo Marconi. Excellent reconstructions of radio machines, telegraphs and apparatuses reproducing radio waves. Unmissable!!
History was made here in this small village where a young Italian guy invented ever first Wireless signal transmission over 2 km range. This is what we use advanced form of signal transmission i.e. 2G, 3G etc
very informative guided tour to museum of Guglielmo Marconi (Inventor of Radio). tour lasts for 2 hour.
