Excellent place of exhibition. Quality. Also the architecture and garden
Original and very complete exhibitions. The setting is magnificent, with a garden behind huge glass facades
Superb exhibition South geometries, in a place of reference. Count 1:30 for the visit.
Magic !
Nice temporary exhibition
The place is beautiful and I have never been disappointed by the exhibitions. Unfortunately the price of catalogs is still too high, around 50, which is a shame ...
Magnificent place with always beautiful exhibitions.
Superb very clear place sported and calm. Beautiful exhibition
The Cartier Foundation succeeds, of course, thanks to important means to present to the public exhibitions that mark!
I am of the same opinion that claude even if it is the first time that I go to the foundation. I do not know if I would make the effort to go that far again. thomas future math teacher
The southern geometrical exhibition of Mexico's Tierra del Fuego is interesting and touches several ways of presenting Latin American art and artists
Expo us the magnificent trees, a shame that the explanatory cartels are so small and so poorly lit.
Amazing and creative exhibition space with an outdoor cafe.
Beautiful place and gardens Incredible and poetic exhibition We the Trees
Disappointing exhibition on the trees and entry too expensive
Dont go.
Terrible experience, has nothing to do with art
A must for those who love contemporary art and photography.
The security guard showed a lack of overwhelming professionalism, ruining the rest of the visit this last week.
Very nice place but cost of visits in my opinion excessive compared to the proposed works.
There is a certain 'elitism' there.
Interesting exhibitions, courteous staff. A pleasant and very enriching experience.
A rather small and subtle building hosting high-quality rotating exhibitions. I was visiting only to take a look at Jean Nouvel's architecture but the exhibition itself interests me just as much, if not more.
A beautiful museum that offers most fun, interesting and unusual exhibitions at affordable prices in a beautiful setting. I recommend !!
Convenient place of access which organizes beautiful exhibitions
Interesting and high-quality exhibition about trees and nature conservation.
Very beautiful exhibition, in a remarkable place, with a very zen garden in good weather.
A very interesting building through the glass walls. Although it is not in an area with many tourist attractions so it takes quite a long time to visit. For amateurs of modern architecture is an important creation of Nouvel
Beautiful expo in this frame and this nice PT park around
Very beautiful and interesting exhibition
..
A rustic museum in the woods The events I saw were boring, but interesting exhibitions were frequently held. Good access could be fun and easy to see. Is it okay to visit the grave of Gensbourg?
Very nice building, pleasant welcome, nice temporary exhibition on car photographs.
A beautiful place, mesmerizing scenography, impressive works. Entry price to the height ...
A glass-filled, open-minded display. The ground floor and basement, and the mezzanine level have books, postcards, and miscellaneous goods related to the event. The garden you can see in the back is from the path on the left towards the main entrance. The entrance fee is 10,50.
A place that is in tune with the landscape! The project is very good! I was lucky to have the exhibition of architect Junya Ishigami happening. Great experience!
Place to discover for exhibitions in a glass and steel building designed by Jean Nouvel in 1994. The theatrum botanicum around the building is also worth seeing if only for the cedar planted in 1823 by Chateaubriand himself !
The current tree exhibition is out of this world! I happened to come across it on a walk to Paris, and my friend pointed it out. I saw a beautiful outdoors garden and art, and I was sold! This location offers a bit for everyone of every age, and shares important lessons about the environment.
Great exposition and book store!
Highly recommend
Great place, beautiful architecture, for lovers of contemporary art, they always offer exhibitions on the current subject, very interesting. Council to reserve your seats so you do not queue. There is only one wicket and it does not move very fast ..
Idem! Bitter remembrance ... I have always loved this place. With this exhibition on the trees the building blends perfectly with nature. I was fortunate to come one night of low attendance, no one in the queue, which did not prevent the 2 people who filter to stress me only because my ticket was not printed but on my iPad that they could not scan. It's still amazing when you're happy not to waste trees for useless impressions that retrograde people are doing to you. Like the previous review, I found the explanations unreadable in poorly lit spaces.
Interesting but a little disappointed compared to rave reviews.
Especially recommended to come here, experience the exhibition, you can sit in the backyard, the environment is beautiful!
Glass and concrete building very suitable for exhibitions, surrounded by a garden decorated with Agnes VARDA cabins, and behind the possibility of taking a break in the very pleasant shade. Claudia ANDUJAR's exhibition is absolutely fabulous, very beautiful discovery that leads us to reflect on our commitments and our actions towards others.
Truly incredible, for lovers of modern art or not, this foundation will please everyone.
The exhibitions are exceptional, the magnificent architecture and the roof top has a breathtaking view of Paris.
If you have the opportunity to go, I highly recommend you take this opportunity!
The Museum of Contemporary Art is sure to impress with its exposition as well as the surrounding environment. Around the museum there is a garden, which offers seating. The museum itself has an exhibition on the first and second floor. It also offers many other complementary programs.
Expo Malik Sidibe: a little air of nostalgia, a soundtrack of God's fire, a film not to be missed so that it is complete.
Lots of joie de vivre.
Modern building surrounded by greenery but to use the lifts that are reserved for employees must request their presence. Very inconvenient
The important art center on the left bank of Paris (because most art galleries and galleries are on the right bank), the exhibition is suitable for the general public to reach the contemporary art, the building is transparent and the garden is comfortable.
Animal orchestra was really good. Great to lie on some cushions and listen to the amazing recordings
One.of the most recomended cultural places in Paris for its exhibitions, architecture amd garden. A must!
Not sure what to make of this museum. Watched a few videos that we're quite good, but was simply disappointed with the remainder of the art. Nothing caught my eye. Oh well, we'll keep trying since they charge the artwork every so often.
The building and the garden are beautiful, the welcome is nice, there are lockers "free" for bags and jackets, the proposed works are diverse and rather interesting. There are tables in the garden to eat but must buy their sandwich damage.
Beautiful architecture Cultural place To visit at all costs
Exciting exhibition on the geometric constant in the artistic expression of South America.
Sidibe exhibition well highlighted by the Cartier Foundation, contemporary vision of art, warm welcome, I had a good time.
Very nice Autophoto Expo, except certain artist * _ * allu total
Splendid exhibition Claudia Andujar - The Yanomami Struggle , moving and poignant.
I didn't know the Yanomami people, and it opened my eyes to many things. So thanks !
To visit absolutely if you are Parisian or passing through the capital. A bright and spacious place, overlooking a beautiful wooded garden.
Currently viewing the exhibition "Claudia Andujar - The Yanomani Struggle". A remarkable destiny, a commitment, a talent. A colossal and striking ethno-photographic work. Essential!
A clean, quiet place perfect to be carried away by the creativity of activists
Freeing architecture is a dream! It is an exhibition accessible to non-experts with models and videos that present the work on site. Thank you Junya Ishigami! Beautiful color brochure offered at the entrance.
Very nice museum, beautiful building and beautiful garden.
Very interesting exhibition on artistic geometric forms through time and in South America
Modern ceramics are very beautiful and the pottery that bears witness to another time is beautiful and moving
Beyond the exhibitions always remarkable, disconcerting, fascinating, the garden of the Foundation is a haven of greenery and peace to discover.
Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain is a Paris-based organization that has been at the forefront of promoting contemporary art for over three decades. The foundation was established in 1984 by Alain Dominique Perrin, who envisioned creating a space where contemporary artists could showcase their work and engage with audiences from around the world.
Located in a stunning building designed by renowned architect Jean Nouvel, Fondation Cartier is an excellent example of corporate philanthropy. The foundation's mission is to promote contemporary art and culture through exhibitions, events, and educational programs that encourage dialogue between artists and audiences.
One of the unique aspects of Fondation Cartier is its commitment to showcasing emerging artists alongside established ones. This approach has helped to create a vibrant community of artists who are pushing boundaries and challenging traditional notions of what art can be.
The foundation's exhibition program features works from all over the world, with an emphasis on promoting diversity and inclusivity. From photography to sculpture, painting to video installations, there is something for everyone at Fondation Cartier.
In addition to its exhibition program, Fondation Cartier also hosts a range of events throughout the year. These include talks by leading figures in the art world, film screenings, concerts, and performances. These events provide opportunities for visitors to engage with contemporary culture in new ways while also learning more about the creative process behind some of today's most exciting artworks.
Fondation Cartier also places great importance on education and outreach programs aimed at engaging young people with contemporary art. Through partnerships with schools and community organizations across Paris and beyond, the foundation provides access to cultural experiences that might otherwise be out of reach for many young people.
Overall, Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain stands out as one of Europe's leading institutions dedicated to promoting contemporary art. Its commitment to diversity and inclusivity sets it apart from other museums or galleries while its innovative programming ensures that visitors always have something new and exciting to discover when they visit this remarkable institution.
