The exhibition about trees was mediocre in my eyes
However, the small gardens around the museum is a gem

It's nice to have a museum so close to home but I find the exhibitions quite average, including the one on the trees now, apart from the great paintings of a certain "Sylvera", aesthetic that's all, the visit guided, free, was kind, "boat", I learned nothing, she pleads the cause of trees with a giant green flyer distributed at the entrance ... The elevators are not accessible to the public to get to the bookstore at the top or the downstairs room, you have to ask for access to a vendor and it takes lead ...

One of my favorite places when it comes to seeing exhibitions in Paris. The new jean building is a sublime dialogue between garden and architecture. The scenography is always extremely neat and the importance given to the light, never neglected.

The garden of the Foundation is an important asset, with its large trees, it is nice to walk there after the visit of an exhibition. And you have to go see the exhibition. "We trees" .The interior is air-conditioned and you can sit and enjoy the paintings, objects and videos for a long time

Great space! The show on now is Nous les Arbres (loosely "We the Trees"), and it is fantastic. It features a range of voices on trees, trees and people, and people and trees run don't walk. It's up til Jan 5, 2020.

Place with a beautiful glass architecture that lets the viewer navigate between inside and outside with the look. I went there for Junya Ishigami's exhibition. A real trip takes place, I recommend it.

Posted closing at 20h on the site. We arrived around 7pm to see an exhibition.
At 19:45 (15 minutes before closing ...) the staff announces the closing of the premises.
A person watching the exhibition even deliberately creates a shadow on a work to prevent me from taking a last photo
I found myself on the sidewalk at 19:48.

A must of contemporary art in Paris. The building of Jean Nouvel did not take a ride. The exhibitions are of quality. The bookstore well done, a pity that we can not access it without paying.

Foundation visited on the occasion of the exhibition on the architect Ishigami. Once the glass enclosure passed, the place is particularly pleasant, the green spaces, the terrace .. the premises are spacious, high ceilings.

We visited the Fondation Cartier on the occasion of the excellent exhibition Nous Les Arbres. The spaces dedicated to the exhibitions are very spacious, open and well equipped, we never walk on them. The building of Jean Nouvel is very beautiful and located in lush greenery in full Paris.
The exhibition itself was quite remarkable.

Beautiful exhibition "Geometries South", beautiful scenography and discovery on this occasion of exciting contemporary artists. On the other hand, the warders are haughty, chatty, noisy and the young woman from the bookshop is the same cask, obviously not concerned by the rudiments of politeness. Pity.

I loved my visit, the exhibition was very interesting, the place is magnificent, and the museum staff are pleasant.

Superb photo exhibition on the theme of the automobile

The Cartier Foundation is one of the great artistic exhibition venues in Paris. Located on boulevard Raspail near the Denfert Rochereau metro station or RER B, in a building designed by Jean Nouvel, it is easily accessible to the public. The exhibitions are very original and very diverse. They sometimes continue in the garden at the back of the building. They can be dedicated to young artists or recognized creators, French or foreign. Young mediators are present to facilitate visits and exchange with the public. Nomadic evenings allow meetings with artists from all disciplines. The bookstore is very interesting with titles of books related to the exhibitions. The night is on Tuesday. It is necessary to visit this place which is a little eccentric compared to the great museums of the banks of the Seine because it deserves a detour.

The architecture by Jean Nouvel - probably the most famous French architect alive - is awesome. The foundation hosts temporary exhibitions that are always of great quality. Don't miss the cute little garden behind the building.

I love this place, which is a haven of peace and culture in a district of Paris that lacks a bit of emblematic places. The exhibitions there are always great, I have never been disappointed, the store is an opportunity for great discoveries and it is a pleasure to see that the members of the foundation work so well in this setting signed by Jean Nouvel whose paw can be recognized. .
Too bad I don't live in Paris, otherwise I will take a Duo subscription without hesitation.
