Went to Repticon and the state fair here.
The grounds are vast, but lines can be long.
There are a few indoor bathroom opportunities, stick to these..avoid the porta Jons at all cost.

Cracker Country, Lots of animals mostly (Farm) , the crash um up derby with the cars were awesome but a tad tight for seating, the fair food was awesome, and also some very talented crafty individuals had displayed their masterpieces, a all around great time

Always a great time at the Florida State Fair, lots of great rides and shows both for adults and kids. Food was good, everything from tacos to turkey legs to funnel cakes and even deep fried Oreo's. Would visit again but latter in the day as the sun at noon was too much for the kids.

Decent venue for huge events. Most recently attended an obstacle course run. Parking is a bit disorganized and it can suck trying to get out after an event, but lots of open space for fun events.

Great place for school fieldtrips to learn about Florida history. The exhibits they have are permanent at Cracker Country. The fairgrounds host a variety of events such as RV and boat show, craft shows, county fair, etc. The facilities for these are clean and well maintained. There is ample parking to accommodate the public.

Went to an RV event. The fair grounds were huge. So many Rv's it took 1 and 1/2 days to walk through. You couldn't visit everything in one day. Rest rooms were clean and well maintained. eateries were scattered around the grounds a little costly though. All in all we had a great time and enjoyed the event

My family and I enjoyed ourselves at the state fair today. There were different varieties of food to choose from. We ever tried gator meat. My son enjoyed the rides and we saw three shows. We even experienced the demolition derby live for the first time. Come on down with the family to the Florida state fair and have a day full of fun

Nice facility.... The staff was very friendly. I will be back there in August for a "Don't Give Up Convention" held by Jehovah's Witnesses. Its open to the public also. No charge for admission.

The weather was excellent Sunday for the fair. There are plenty of different places to eat. Plenty of rides for adult and an area for kids rides. The restroom was clean for the amount of people that were there. The petting zoo was great. My grandson loved it. I wish they had more places to sit with your food. Other than that it was great!

It was senior week at the fair! We are from Texas and haven't been to a fair in years. I was glad to see metal detectors at the gates. Getting tickets and getting in very smooth.
There needs to be better signage to direct foot traffic.
Went to the rabbit poultry barn and we was yelled at for being in a restricted area. No signage or barriers were in place.
Went to see the Budweiser clydesdales. Wonderful animals!
Walked toward the rides. We saw a lot of the back sides of the booths. I'm guessing it was a service road as there was a lot of utility vehicles and a pickup zooming around us. We finally found a spot between the rides to get back on the walkway only to find no rides, games or food vendors was open in this area. Talked with a few folks in this area and they were as disappointed as we was that this area was shut down.

This is my first time away from Texas. I would have liked to have ridden the ferris wheel to see the area from the air. We did see it move as we were leaving.

Went to Fossil Fest recently and had a most excellent time! My two youngest kids loved looking at all the cool fossils and loved the sandbox where they could "dig" for their own fossils. Tampa Bay Fossil Club did an amazing job as always! Can't wait until next year!

We've been to several events here over the years including concerts, school functions, etc, and of course the state fair, and it's always an awesome time. Next up is my oldest son's high school graduation ceremony, hoping it's as good of an experience as all the previous events!

Beware! In addition the the cost of your event there is also a parking fee! I'm not sure if it is always the same cost or if it changes due to how popular the event is. We have done a few home/ RV shows and it was $6.00.
The area in side is nice and they keep the grounds well picked up.

This place is very wide-spread, which is to be expected cause it's a fairgrounds! But it's a long way to get anywhere if you're walking. But the event that I attended was so very wonderful that it made the walk soo very worth it!!! The event was held inside so we were out of rain!!
