Friendly Staff. Big selection. This is not a gift shop. It is a floor covering business.

Went through Home Depot to replace old carpeting and tile in the foyer, bath, living and dining rooms. The installers, David and Ivan from Floorgate, did a fantastic job. It took them only three days to tear out carpeting and old tile, lay new tile and install new baseboards. I highly recommend them.

Floorgate was assigned by the Tehachapi Home Depot to install the vinyl flooring I bought for my family's mountain cabin.

I wanted to eliminate the carpet, since I personally don't understand why anyone would want flooring they can't sweep and mop up. However, I really didn't care how the flooring looked after installation.

I was very pleasantly surprised. When I drove up to check the job, just to make sure the vinyl flooring was installed, I saw absolutely no flaws. The flooring looks great!

Unfortunately, since I was on a cruise for a week after, I couldn't complete the Home Depot survey in time. But I would definitely recommend Floorgate for any future vinyl flooring installations in Tehachapi.

I purchased hardwood from the home depot in glendale and floorgate was the installation contractor. Everything was done to my liking. They were clean and nice.

Rude! Rude! Rude! I called asking questions and Al, the manager, HUNG UP ON ME twice! Al felt like my question and concerns were invalid, he raised his voice and then hung up.

This is not a business that cares about customer service. Rude! Rude! Rude!

Don t waste your money on this company, they will not be there for you if you have questions, concerns or problems.

Shocking business practices!!

Worst experience of my life! Do not hire these people! They were hired through home depot so we have paid up front for the service of removing carpet and installing floor. They've been to my house twice and never did anything. They REFUSED to do the floor plan we requested and were told ahead of time it can be done and i checked with other contractors that it can be done. Because of their refusal we had to hire a 3rd company to do what they want. Then because the 3rd company was late which is out of my control, they refused to wait the 5 mins it would take for the 3rd company to arrive. They complained that I have dogs and its going to set off their allergies then they want the 3rd company to remove the carpet since it would make their allergies worsen. Absolutely unprofessional company. Do not hire them, especially if you have any pets! Don't want to upset their delicate sinuses. Plus they won't do the work anyway.

Awesome people, they did a great job on my floors. Really nice and professional.

Floorgate came out to my house to do a tile installation through Home Depot. They were very nice and did a great job. Can t thank them enough for the outstanding service.
