The food has always been amazing, but the renovation out front is amazing! Such a modern atmosphere and very inviting! The firepits make it great for casuap get togethers or even more laxed client meetings. I have come here like 4 times since they finished. And service is of course top notch!!! Probably better than most other Flemings and I have been to a few!
Had a very great time management and staff very attentive.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND the bone in rib eye. It is their signature steak and is easily the best seasoned and most tender steak I have ever had in my life. It cut easier than most filets I have ever had. Also, the New York cheesecake was a fabulous dessert. Great atmosphere and very professional service. I will be back. I came for the food, but I will be coming back for the food and the amazing experience.
I cannot say enough great things about our dining experience at Fleming's in Newport Beach. We took my Father for his birthday as a surprise. From start to finish Larry Sherman, Senior Manager and his team made our dinner one to remember. The friendliness of the staff, the cozy environment of the restaurant, to the outstanding food and service made for a memorable evening. I would strongly visiting, make your reservation now!
The food was not good. The children's French toast was burnt, the side of potatoes were simple and bland, the lobster was under cooked and just overall everything has just gone downhill the last 2 times we went to this location. Not worth the price. So sad because we used to love Fleming's.
Not worth the time or money for the quality of food that I received. Ordered a rib eye and was thoroughly disappointed. The side orders here were average. Cocktails were excessively expensive. The beer list ranks right up there with any local pizza joint. A complete disappointment. At least the guy in the valet was cool.
Love Fleming's. Outdoor and indoor dining available. Amazing food! The Fleming's potato's are to die for!
This was my first night out since OC was closed due to the pandemic. The service was excellent, and only surpassed by the perfectly prepared food!! Thank you so much Flemmings!!
The food was great! Jared our server was great as well, very helpful and personable.
Excellent food, good service. One of the few places I will order steak because they do an amazing job with it.
I ordered Prime Rib with a side of there delicious sauteed mushrooms, the wife couldn't stop eating them, highly recommend the wedge salad, the blue cheese dressing is dyn-a-mite! Flemings made my wife birthday.
Amazing food and WOW service. Thank you Christy & Veronica for making our anniversary special.
I absolutely love tapas, and if I had my Way, it's my preference to truly enjoying a meal.
I am a fan of Flemmings. Food seldom disappoints.
Please bring it up to a higher standard. Our takeout curbside service was sub par for Flemmings. $50 Sea bass leaked all over the paper bag as they handed it over. Asked for napkins and got little to-go packs. People had no heart for great service. There are plenty of able people who care about great service...interview. find them, hire them and treat them excellent.
A delightful, well planned restaurant. One can hear the table conservation at each seating. The food is fantastic. Service efficient and pleasant.
Super delicious food. Loved crab cake a d grilled fish here. Staff is very friendly. But the cost of the food here is per the taste. Its tasty, delicious and you need to shell extra bucks for taste which is surely worth it.
I think I came down with something, because I'm feeling Flemish ;p
Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, located next to True Food Kitchen at Fashion Island in Newport Beach.
Currently, Fleming's has "A Taste of Summer" 3-course dinner for the all inclusive price of $40.
A bread plate starts off the meal
For starters, sashimi tuna
Tuna, sweet onion, jalapenos & scallions in an island ponzu & sesame marinade. Topped with a citrus, cilantro and avocado relish, crisp onions & fried wontons. I'm an avocado slut & I'd never thought I'd say this, but I believe there was too much avocado. Crazy, huh? The avocado overpowered the flavor of the tuna. Other than that, I enjoyed the sashimi starter, especially the crunch of the crisp onions & fried wontons.
Duo of bacon-wrapped filet mignon & salmon
Porcini-crusted & bacon-wrapped filet mignon with a creamy gorgonzola cheese sauce, and house cedar-smoked salmon with a honey-soy glaze. Cooked medium-rare, the filet mignon was tender & extra juicy. Wanna take something over the top? Wrap it in bacon! The bacon fat added the salty, fatty, unctuous goodness of pork to an already delicious piece of beef. The salmon was flaky & oily, as it should be. I would have preferred it to be cooked a little less, but that's just the sashimi lover in me. Be careful! The plate comes out piping hot.
Dessert, fresh summer berry shortcake
Summer berries, orange-pistachio infused shortcake biscuits with chantilly cream & fresh mint. The highlight of the meal for me! Crumbly shortcake biscuits, while a little drier than I was expecting, were excellent once liberally slathered with the extravagant chantilly cream & paired w/ fresh fruit such as blueberries & strawberries. My dessert has since gone missing with an APB put out around my GI tract ;p
I didn't think the 3-course dinner would satiate my appetite, but I had a full belly upon leaving. I'm definitely not bikini ready ;p
Service was okay. I felt the server was more concentrated on other parties. Parking is valet & 90 min parking in the front of the restaurant. I parked at the Whole Foods parking structure, which is a quick jaunt from Fleming's.
BTW, I used my $25 dining credit I received via email for my visit. Score!
Sometimes, you just have to splurge on a fine dining experience. Having that in mind, I highly recommend making reservations at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar.
Food is five star - assuming you don't behave like a barbarian and order fish or any steak cooked beyond 'medium'. Overall I've got to measure Flemings against competition and what 'should be..'
It's a little too bright and tightly packed. That's opposite of what ambiance one would hope for in the $100/person echelon.
Servers are top rate but seem too thinly staffed or supported, esp when handling a big party. Pacing suffered noticably with 21 v 2 setup
Overall, do the bar specials or go on off nights with small groups and you'll love it, otherwise it's a coin toss.
It's a chain store steakhouse.
The amount of 1 portion of the side menu is a little smaller. I think the meat is of constant quality.
The shop is beautiful, but the knife was dirty and I had to replace it. I feel that it is different from a top-class steakhouse.
The service was good. But had to return the steak 2 times until they cooked it correct. First time wanted it medium rare came out ror, the next time over cooked. Had to order something else.
Really enjoyed dinner at Flemings. Exceptional food and the staff really take great care of you.
Wonderful food and experience. Everything was great, and I look forward to coming back again!
Get food catered from here and love love their food. Quinoa is the best but also albacore sandwich. All the food is super healthy and super yummy. Gooey choco chips!
Excellent Bone-in Ribeye. The best I've had anywhere and the atmosphere is great.
great service and ambiance. steaks are a must have.
One of my favorite steakhouses. Your food is truly made to perfection. The customer service is without equal. I have had amazing meals and experiences here. The few times that I've had, even a minor issue with my food, they easily rectified and made me feel valued. This is the "go to place" for any special event.
I always enjoy dinner at Fleming's! Excellent service and the food is phenomenal!
Great food and the happy hour is enough to start your evening. The 'view' is of an upscale shopping mall across a large parking lot, but that's the only down part.
Service was very good Mamger tried to make everything righr but Fathers Day Brunch was terrible.
Everyone who ordered Lobster Bisque said tasted bad, very thin and no lobster. Ordered crab omelet sreved cold sent back new came out lukewarm. Wife ordered French Toast came out cut in hard cuncks.
It appears there cooks just don't know how to cook breakfast - lunch items. Will never go back for brunch. Grandson was sick after eating there french toast.
Excellent service and beyond perfect steak. Prices are very high, but its that kind of place. Loved it took very good care of us for my friends big 50!
Always amazing whether in the bar or in the dining room.
I have loved it everyone I've come here. The quality of the food here is superior to just about any other restaurant that I've been. They know their way around the kitchen and the results are fantastic. The ambiance is great and the service is top notch. A great place for a date.
One of the best steak house. Service and food always A-1
Our server hai was awesome! Ask for him by name. Food was amazing and couldn t ask for better service
The happy hour is a must. Strong drinks and full entrees for less than $10. Get with the program, people!
Excellent food and service. But the space is a little bit crowded.
The carpaccio appetizer was amazing! The California burger was good, but nothing great. I can get a better burger all over town. I feel that at a 5 star restaurant they should be serving only 5 star burgers. My friend ordered the dessert, so I didn't get the name, but it seemed like a chocolate lava cake. It came with ice cream and whipped cream. It was absolutely delicious. Service was great. Overall our experience was a 5.
Awful steak,very expressive
Don't waste your money!!
Very first time coming here after cancelling other reservations since seen very good reviews what a mistake. Servers are very friendly but I don t think waiting for over an hour and still no food. I understand that it was busy since it is day after valentines but still. Will not be coming back
Great food and service.. good place to have a dinner for a special occasion
Yummy! I had the fish with shrimp in a Stewie tomato sauce with white rice and my all-time favorite sweet plantains. I added a house salad and it truly hit the spot. My first time here and had so many options to choose from that it took me a bit to order. I would definitely eat here again!
At the moment you come to that place team give you an excellent feeling. Very courteous stuff, it is a nice restaurant to pass time with friends and colleagues or with your date. delightful cuisine, specialist chef de cuisine, honest cost and attentive service. Warmly recommended.
We drive down from the OC to enjoy the beach and head here for dinner. Always an outstanding meal and the whole team is always on top of everything. 6 stars, but Google only does 5.
We went for Tomahawk Tuesday! Great deal! 35 oz Tomahawk Steak, 2 salads, 2 sides, and 2 desserts for $130.00. Delicious food and great service!
Great steak needs more wine variety with reasonable prices
Great service in the bar AND very good Happy Hour food selections and pricing. Food is great!
We were so impressed with the efficiency, and pass-through of quality, in this ominously tricky and challenging period. Seems even more robust an experience - appreciate the effort to make every point of contact special.
Super good old fashioned steak house, great service
Flemings never disappoint if you want a steak. I always get the Filet Mignon cooked medium. My friend got the aged ribeye which I tried a piece and was cooked to perfection. The side of fries are my favorite side to pair it with.
They served Prime meat so the quality is there!
As with most other steak houses, they have a huge wine selection from all over the world. Nice cordials selection as well.
I typically come here for their happy hour (5-7pm daily). They recently remodeled, and the restaurant looks great. They also have a nice outdoor seating area for dine-in and the bar. It can get crowded on weekends, but their burgers are worth it. I also tend to order the burrata (cheese, tomatoes, bread, cured meat) and beef carpaccio (raw beef, bread).
This steak house is GreaaATE! My wife and I can eat everything off the menu in one sitting _Just Kidding_ Kind of. We can put down A LOT OF FOOD though. AHahaha. The steak is cooked to perfection. The fish is just right. The service was well kept too!
As expected, a fantastic evening and food. Waitress was wonderful.
This is a restaurant with a bar and very popular happy hour menu of fantastic cocktails, wine and food. Happy Hour happens daily between 5-7pm for lowest prices. Then increases a few dollars after 8pm.
This restaurant is the one I always prefer. I go to many restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The crew is very professional and the food they offer is so appetizing. I never decline to have a good dinner here. I highly recommend this place.
The whole experience killed my husband and I view of this place. Couple managers and servers were talking to an employee that was at a table next to us about personal things and not once checked on how we were doing. The table we were seated felt like we were an after thought. We waited almost 40 minutes for our salads.

I drive by Fashion Island almost daily on my way to work. Needless to say, I know the area very well. However, its not often that I actually venture INTO the shopping center. I knew the general location, but was not positive of the exact address. GPS led us right to it and got a spot in front, between True Foods?... or whatever that place is, and Roy's. I don't think either one of us was paying attention when we got out of the car, because we walked left, when we should've gone right. I had just assumed that the patio in front of us was Roy's and we would just follow the sidewalk around. That sidewalk led us right up to the door of Fleming's!... not Roy's.
Having never been to Fleming's...or Roy's before, I probably could've figured out we were at the wrong restaurant. Ironically, when I checked in at the hostess stand for my reservation, they said our table was ready! Imagine my disappointment as I scoped out the menu, as well as my surroundings, and saw NOTHING "Hawaiian fusion" about anything.
We shared a few small plates wanting to taste some different dishes. They were all very tasty! We were told the bone marrow Mac and cheese is not something you should pass up. But we got the Chipotle instead. Something with the words "bone marrow".... can't say it makes my mouth water.
When it came time to pay the check, we dropped our gift card down, along with a secondary payment... STILL unaware we were not at Roy's. Our poor waiter returns a few moments after, so very respectfully apologetic that he was unable to accept the gift card. It was then, that we had that "AH-HA!" moment. I felt so stupid!
Before leaving, we were brought 2 glasses of champagne and a little gift box tied with a beautiful blue ribbon, to congratulate us on our engagement.
We had a wonderful experience at Fleming's. However, I just wish the hostess would've made our error known when we arrived, and simply said they had no reservation under my name. We were a no-show at Roy's... sorry Roy's!
EVERY THING WS DELICIOUS AND GREAT ONLY THINK I MISS IS THE BIG TOMAHAWK STEAK THEY NO LONGER SERVE
Excellent! Service, entre, cheesecake? Great experience.
The interior space was beautiful & the booths were comfortable. We shared the meatball for appetizer, which was good and I ordered the lunch bowl- portion was huge and delicious, ingredients were fresh & cooked perfectly. I'd like to come again to try other things on their menu for lunch/dinner.
This last time I went to Fleming's it was just ok and incredibly expensive.
Excellent Ribeye cooked to perfection.
The server named Tabatha was outstanding.
