I will like to say that the experience with this company can qualify as the worst. I made the order back in 2024 June 26th and it suppous to be delivery in November early in the month which never happens. I did not received any notification from them till I sent a email asking for an update. Then the costumer services told me that I should be notified when the order will be ready to ship which I never was till I sent another email asking for update. In that moment they said that the furniture was fining and will be sent to USA in the next shipping. The transportation company contacting me to let it me know that the order should be receive in December 23 one month after the prevues delivery time and by the way never happen. Three days before the deliver they told me that they were out of trailer to do the delivery also the order were not complete. I change the delivery address with Fleming & Howland on October and the store costumer service never change. When I spoke with the delivery company they told me that if I want to change the delivery address I have to call or contact the store in England to have approval for them. After that happens they will be able to re-shedule the delivery with I refuse. I pay for this services more that $12000.00 dollars in order to receive a white clove delivery services and the best treatment for the fornature company. In this point I can not say anything about the quality of the furniture because I did not received. I will never buy anything for this company again and I will never use the delivery company also. I hope that I can be compensate for them.

Awful customer service. Received two damages chesterfields and trying to get a refund or to talk to anyone with authority is a nightmare. They are quick enough to take your money but not to collect rectify faults. Be warned!!!!

My expereince with Fleming&Howland was extraordinary from A-Z. First Mr Paul Fleming advised me really very well and competent, especially with some bespoke furniture and helped me to get what I wanted. He also helped with the order. I always felt very comfortable although ordering far away from Switzerland.
Then Mrs Sylvia Gray and Mr Jonathan Sheasby contacted me once the furniture was ready to deliver. Transport and delivery were organized very efficiently and everything went as well as could be expected.
Today we are enjoying these well crafted and stunningly looking furniture - they're a dream - thanks to every single one at Fleming&Howland!

We received our first order in May 2016, the 3 seater sofa was and still is beautiful.
We received our second order in December 2016, the 2 seater sofa had a leather less silky and less brilliant than the 1st, we thought that the patina was going to be done in time, however, the more the time passes and the more the leather is relaxes, which causes unsightly folds and worries us when the durability of the quality of the product in time, the seams are even apparent near a button.
We contacted the sav who advised us to contact a local upholsterer, obviously, no upholsterer wants to commit to a new product under warranty. In fact, I ask if this company has a real sav.
At the slightest problem during delivery, refuse the product.

Fleming and howland's response confirms that they do not intend to repair their fault. They answer us to solve the problem ourselves, which confirms in fact that there is no guarantee and no after-sales service. I contacted several upholsterers and none wished to make me an estimate and they m have all said that no other would answer my request since it is necessary to completely disassemble the sofa and tighten each piece of leather.
In fact I'm going to have to keep my couch that makes me feel ashamed.
You can always order at home but at this price, would you like to take the risk or are you looking for a more serious supplier?

Quality at all costs !!! Without hesitation, I recommend that you choose your Chesterfields armchair or sofa from Fleming & Howland. whether at the simple request for information, at the order with special requirements on payment and / or delivery, this house has always responded with patience, professionalism and willingness to respond well to customer expectations. And beyond the service, there is the quality of the product. In short, go ahead with your eyes closed even if the price seems high, ... it's worth it !!!

We were looking for a new suite and had decided on a traditional Chesterfield design, the only downside of this is that most appeared to be too large for our requirements. Whilst looking online, we discovered Fleming & Howland, the Chesterfield specialists, they were able to produce exactly what we were looking for and in the dimensions we needed. They kept us informed as to the progress and a few weeks later, our suite was delivered, we are delighted with the quality, which has surpassed our expectations.
We would not hesitate going back to Fleming & Howland in the future.

I received a few days ago chairs ordered from Fleming & Howland. I had not seen the chairs in a show room before ordering them. I was a little apprehensive. This was quickly lifted at the reception because it must be admitted, the chairs corresponded perfectly to the description. The rendering is magnificent!

Quality and punctuality are two adjectives to remember for the house Fleming and Howland. The furniture finish is perfect. The leathers are flawless. The services are excellent. Likewise, the home delivery service is impeccable.

We received our sofa ahead of schedule and we absolutely love it! Can t say enough good things about it. It looks better than the photos and sits more comfortably than anticipated.

The staff was prompt and more than willing to answer all of our questions.

I can t even begin to praise Fleming & Holland enough for the amazing experience I had in ordering my sofa. It s always a bit risky ordering an expensive item from a company one has never dealt with but it was the easiest and best purchase I ve made all year. From the beginning of the transaction, the customer service rep was incredibly responsive and fully answered all of my endless questions. I was able to order several swatches and make a truly informed decision. The sofa took a bit longer than expected but given the Pandemic, and the constant updates, it was to be expected.

Upon arrival, the chosen delivery company was prompt and professional. The finished sofa was even better than expected, the obvious quality and workmanship being top notch. I ve seen less impressive pieces online for the same price or more so I feel I got an amazing value for a custom sofa. To top it all off, it was made in England.

We have bought 3 sofas now for different rooms from Fleming and Howland, spanning over 10 years. The sofa we bought over 10 years ago still looks and feels like new. The sofa we recently bought everybody always comments on. Would definitely recommend Fleming and Howland.

I should have paid attention to the negative review here regarding customer service after purchase. They are really quick to take your money but their guarantee/warranty after purchase is non existent and you can't get a hold of anyone except some generic email for inquiry. Worst customer service ever. I tried to call them on their phone number listed for USA multiple times and no one is picking up their phone.

There are three buttons that pop out so far and I feel like it will cause additional stress on the rest of the buttons and I am so worried that the rest of the buttons will start popping out on the chesterfield that I purchased. Such a poor craftmanship.

My story: Their buttons popped out within one year of purchase. They at least reimbursed me first time but the same buttons popped out again because problem with their structure, it's missing the strap to hold the button in place and when I tried to contact them that they buttons popped out again they refused to cover for the expense even though it's defective product and poor craftmanship and problem with their structure. I tried to reach out to them multiple times and they refuse to do anything and told me that it will not be covered. I was so confused why they reimbursed me first time but not the 2nd time for same issue. So frustrated. I would never ever recommend this company. Take your money and run!!! Just buy the similar set at Restoration Hardware. This is warning to all potential customers. I don't know how many emails I sent out and no response like WTH. I regret this purchase so much. Don't get deceived by their shiny brochure and deceptive website. There is no such thing as guarantee/warranty after purchase. They will just blame you for the issue. Can't believe the outrage price they charge you. What a rip off.

We ordered a sofa from F&H after originally ordering a sofa from another company. On arrival the other sofa was made in China and clearly poor quality. The F&H sofa couldn't be more of a contrast. Fantastic quality, beautiful leather and a piece of furniture that you can tell will last forever. A really beautiful piece to own. The sofa was bought from their outlet section so only took a week to arrive. The delivery company used were excellent, keeping me well informed of delivery times etc. They then brought the sofa into the house and put the feet on for us. I would really recommend buying from F&H - you will get a quality product that is a thing of beauty!

I am totally amazed at the quality of customer service even during these difficult times. I was tired of hearing furniture being made in China and although it meets some people s needs it did not meet mine. It is a breath of fresh air to hear made in Britain by craftsmen.
Every member of staff we have had contact with were polite and beyond helpful.
