I went in with my husband to get walking shoes because I started having foot pain in addition to my lower back pain. Lauren was the employee that helped me and I've never been happier with a consultation before. She didn't make me feel weird for having a size 12 foot as a girl and never being able to find shoes that work. She took the time to explain what might be happening and why I was having pain after exercising. She recommended using a foam roller to work on my muscles and different shoes to support my feet. She analyzed my feet and I found out that I have really high arches, which means flat shoes are not for me. She nailed it on the first pair of shoes and found insoles that fit like a glove. I wish i had gone to a place like this growing up (not sure if they existed) because it was awesome. I've already recommended Fleet Feet to multiple people and it's only been a week since we got my new shoes. My heel pain has already improved and the foam roller is helping with my sore muscles. I actually want to go workout because I'm not in constant pain. They are very knowledgeable and I'm a customer for life now. Huge shout-out to Lauren because she was wonderful and I will be back to see her specifically.

Went there last week, with only about a half-hour before closing time, yet both staff members were kind, courteous and took as much time as was needed to make sure both my girlfriend and I got the right pair of shoes and insoles.

They measured us, examined the way our feet hit the floor while walking and had us try on several different shoe & insole combinations to make sure we walked away with the right products for our individual running styles/ requirements.

Both staff members were personable, knowledgeable and patient. They also shared their own unique experiences with different brands, which I found to be insightful and helpful. Big shout out to Anni, who helped me decide upon a pair of Peal Izumis, which I knew nothing about beforehand, but they are working out great.

It was a pretty expensive endeavor, but it was well worth it, especially if you're serious about finding the right shoe / fit for running.

In a world where customer service is unheard of these guys break the mold. They love their job and stand behind their products.

As a longtime customer, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of customer service that I experienced today. I was greeted and then completely forgotten as she asked me make a homebase while she went to the back to complete a project. Being the only customer in the store but not the only clerk working I waited. After ten minutes with no response, I decided to shop elsewhere where the customer is important.

This store and its staff are fabulous. I came in one day to ask questions, and Mike was perfectly happy to answer them even though it was 20 minutes from closing, and he knew I wasn't going to buy anything that day. I went back two days later and Jurdan (I am hoping I spelled that right, I remember looking at his name tag and taking note of the spelling, but my memory is not perfect) was amazingly patient and helpful. He recommended three shoes, but let me try on all the shoes I requested. He didn't even say, "I told you so," when I bought on his original recommendations. It was a wonderful experience.

Far and away the most knowledgeable vendor for running shoes. If you need advice on picking the right gear for running, this is the place.

Ask for Kayla! Best customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Kayla was extremely knowledgeable and not only answered all my questions thoroughly, but I didn't even touch a shoe. She measured my feet, put my shoes on and took them off for me, tied the laces, gave me tips and tricks on running, and truly cares for the customer. They also have a store club that gets together and runs and does pub runs where everyone goes to happy hour after the run!

Friendly, knowledgeable service. They fitted me for a fantastic pair of Brooks that are so comfortable and have helped relieve pain associated with Plantars Fasciitis.

BEST RUNNING STORE IN MT. PLEASANT, HANDS DOWN! Fleet Feet has been my go-to store for everything running related. I think I've worked with just about every staff member- they're all so helpful and knowledgeable. Not to mention FRIENDLY! I love stopping by and always being greeted with a smile. Good people. After receiving terrible customer service at one of the other local shoe stores, I stopped by Fleet Feet to see if they could help me. Their customer service was amazing. They were cheerful, extremely knowledgeable and took plenty of time to talk to me about my running style, gait and needs in a running shoe. Love Fleet Feet! They are so very friendly and helpful! The staff always seems up to talking gear, running, training, and racing which I could talk about all day =) Even when I just pop in for a handful of gels, it is a fun errand!

Annie was an excellent sales person, and seemed to care very genuinely about my running needs. She did a great job of listening and adapting to my concerns, and she helped to keep my budget in mind too, which I really appreciated! The shoes and insoles that Annie set me up with are the most comfortable, supportive shoes I've owned in years, and I could not be more grateful.

I had a fantastic experience. When I arrived at the store, I was asked to sign in so that the employees knew who to help next. I did not have to wait very long; maybe 10 minutes. The woman who helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. She 3D scanned my feet and watched my feet as I walked a few paces. She then walked me through the details of my scan and asked me several questions about my fitness routine and preferences for shoes. She then picked a few pairs of shoes that would best fit my needs and wishes. The whole process was very pleasant and unhurried! I tried on several pairs of shoes and found a great pair with the perfect amount of cushion and support. She recommended some other merchandise but was NOT pushy at all - I did not feel pressured at all to buy anything which made me all the more willing to give them my business! I did end up buying socks and inserts in addition to my running shoes and am very pleased with the entire purchase. I definitely plan on returning and have already recommended Fleet Feet to friends/family!

I never thought I would write a review on buying shoes... Additionally, I never thought that buying shoes could be so educational and fun. Sarah did an amazing job, educating me on what type of shoe is best for my needs...all in a light hearted manner. Outstanding experience, all the way around.

Visited the store today and had a AMAZING experience with Eryn!!! She was so easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. She explained the reasoning behind everything we did. She didn't rush the process of finding my perfect shoe and made sure I understood what we were doing and why before we moved on. She didn't pressure me to buy anything and honestly listened to things that I needed from my shoes. After working with her, I found shoes that I can't wait to run in. I am so glad I was able to work with her! She was truly fantastic!

I ended up at Fleet Feet after another store told me they were out of shoes for me for 3 weeks and the service was NOT good. Lucky for me we found this store. Used to go here for shoes/socks all the time until I met the owner who was extremely rude and unappreciative. Funny thing is I was in for a routine transaction that involved no issues. Very odd... Know who you're supporting. Especially at a time where we should be spending money at locally owned establishments. Pick the right ones!

My experience at fleet feet was first class. The staff were very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable and everything was tailored to suit my specific needs. We discussed a full variety of topics ranging from appropriate hydration, sock options, diet and then the primary topic of footwear.
Despite spending a lot of dedicated time with me, I felt no pressure to make a purchase. Their mantra is that they would rather give you all the correct advice and you not make a purchase, than force the wrong product on you and they certainly stand by that. However, their range of products was so impressive i would be surprised if something didn't fit your needs.
I was not anticipating a trip to buy footwear to be a "fun" experience but it turned out to be just that. Shout out to Lauren who was an absolute pleasure and great company (and sorry it took several months to write this review).
All of my future purchases for quality running and workout shoes will be from fleet feet based on this 1 experience.

Chris, Aubrey, and Billy were working yesterday and all 3 greeted me when I walked in. Chris assisted me with buying a pair of compression socks. He was very knowledgeable about the brand and explained the warranty on them. I will return there for a new pair of running shoes.

Anni was so helpful in helping me select the right running shoe. She had a great wealth of knowledge and provided me with several options before making my purchase. It's easy to see that she loves her job. She was wonderful to work with.

It is easy to be overwhelmed when trying to select the correct shoes if you are not an avid runner. I am not an athlete, but my job requires me to be on my feet all day. I also have problems with my knee from a prior injury and surgery. The associated that helped me, Anna, made the process very seamless and easy. She explained the fit process as we went along while also gathering information about the type of shoes I currently wear. When it came time for her to select new shoes for me, she thoughtfully explained why I was unhappy with my current pair (they weren't the right shoes for me at all) and presented me with three new options. I will admit that I was skeptical at first because the shoes she selected were so different than anything I have worn in the past, but as soon as I tried the first pair on, I knew I should leave it to the experts. I left the store with a brand of shoes that I had never heard of and would have never chosen for myself, but because Anna took the time to educate me, I walked out confident that these are the right pair for me.

The staff is so well educated and makes the experience second to none. Get on over there Y'all !!!

Blown away by this place! Staff was so unbelievably helpful. After watching me walk and running a few other tests/measurements, Eryn was able to pull a bunch of shoes that she thought fit me best and sat with me for as long as I needed to try them on until we found the perfect ones for me. Friendly staff, stayed open late to help me get shoes while I forgot mine in Charlotte for 4 days (would have been 4 days of no running!!). Didn't rush me out either, stayed around and even got me to try and new set of kicks out after running Mizunos for 5 years!

I came in experiencing knee pain and thought different shoes might help even though I have not been nice to my knees, having been a runner most of my life and playing a LOT of soccer, along with many other sports.

After spending a lot of time listening to me, trying on different shoes, and giving me really good advice, I bought a pair of shoes. I was told I could bring them back within 60 days if I did not like them. This is how shoes SHOULD BE SOLD!!!

Fleet Feet on Houston Northcutt Boulevard in Mount Pleasant is one of my favorite places to go for all things shoes and athletic gear. The staff here is very knowledgeable and makes sure that you get the right size of shoes for maximum performance and decrease chance of injuries. They have been reliable in their quality of products and services throughout the years and I have been really well satisfied with all of my purchases.

One of the BEST shoe buying experiences I've ever had. Billy was fantastic. He examined my gait, expertly took my measurements and recommended the right shoe. He came out of the stock room with 3 pairs. I tried each one and was given the pro's and con's of each. I left with a pair of shoes and two pairs of socks that fit me perfectly. Very good customer service. Matt was helpful in making my shoe decision with no pressure. I liked how the store was welcoming and friendly the minute I walked in. The way customers are allowed to jog up and down the sidewalk to test a shoe says a lot about the importance of functionality and comfort of a running shoe over just trying to make a sale based on walking in the store. I plan to continue to buy all my running shoes through Fleet Feet.

A couple of my friends recommended that I come here, and I am sooo glad I did!! I had such an amazing experience here on yesterday!! Mary treated me like a princess. She wouldn t let me touch my shoe strings or shoes at all!! She had a lot of patience with me and asked me many questions about what types of running I do. She was very knowledgeable and well-experienced in the shoes she recommended. I purchased a pair of Brooks, New Balance, and Hoka!! I also purchased a pair of Ultra Light Feetures socks and Zero No Show Swiftwick socks. This was my first time, and I know I m definitely coming back! Thanks Mary for taking such great care of me!!

The staff were very polite and helpful! A wide variety of running accessories and gear. Though they didn t seem to have a big selection of shoes, they did have the essential brands and most of those brands top shoes. And they were very energetic to help me find the shoe for me using their website after asking me some pointed questions. They also will scan your feet to help you get the shoe that s perfect for you. Definitely an excellent running store. A nice reward system too.

I stopped in here after a business meeting and before a dinner date and what a fantastic detour! I'm a hard fit when running shoes are involved, mostly because I look like I'm italicized when I'm huffing and puffing. The employee who worked with me was patient and knowledgeable. After observing my gate, he went to town fitting me. To date, the Saucony's he sold me have been the most comfortable shoe I've ever run in.
