I would like to shout out to this location for upholding their health guidelines (but still managed to go above and beyond). The person working the door who gracefully declined- no less than three times - to let a shopper in who couldn t for health reasons wear a mask, but did offer to let them try on whatever outside the shop.

I m floored, the fact that you could turn them down gently, means that your company supports these efforts and you feel safe enough to adhere. That s the kind of company we should all hope to work for!

Thank you for protecting me, your community, and co-workers!

The level of service in selecting shoes is unsurpassable. The employees are extremely well trained to give the best fit for your needs. If you order online the prices are the same as Amazon and you get free shipping arriving in 2 days.

Amelio is AMAZING. I told him he's a miracle worker. I have extremely hard to fit feet. 2 other stores got fed up with me, or didn't have enough options in stock, so they sent me away. Amelio not only had a gazillion stock suggestions for my feet, he also was able to look at my feet and know what the potential problems could be. He is a rock star of shoe sales!

Every time a pair didn't work, he didn't let me get discouraged, nor did he seem impatient (like the guys at Runners Edge did). He just immediately re-evaluated, and came back with options.

9 pairs of shoes later, he found my perfect shoe. It was cute too!

When I walked into Fleet Feet Lincoln Square today...

When I walked into Fleet Feet Lincoln Square today, I was just an unshaven, overweight 50 something that needed new shoes. My shoe fitting helper Meghan didn't know me from Adam. She doesn't know I have been buying from FF from shortly after Dave and Lisa opened their first store, she doesn't know I have run 50+ marathons and 200+ other road races, she doesn't know I have purchased dozens of pairs of shoes for myself and my wife at Fleet Feet, and Vertel's before them. But I have.

Despite what I looked like, and whatever preconceived notions she may or may not have had about me as a customer, she gave me the same quality, courteous, and highly attentive service to select a new pair of walking / jogging shoes. She treated me as if I were a a competitive marathon athlete. That is how I have always been treated by FF employees over the years, and that is why I keep going back to purchase my shoes there every time I need a new pair. Sure, that isn't every 2 or three months any more, but it doesn't matter. I get the same quality service as this overweight 50 something as I did when I was a three hour marathoner. That says something to me about how FF treats EVERY CUSTOMER, and I gotta tell you, it is top shelf.

As I explained to Meghan today that I had last purchased Ghosts and Dyads, she immediately noticed I had a pair of Pegasus on. Did I like them? (not really). She also was quick to point out that if I liked the Ghosts and Dyads, which she would bring up for me, she noted that if I wasn't running now, but more walking and jogging and concerned about cushioning in a neutral shoe, maybe I should try on the Brooks Glycerins. I did, and despite them being $40 more than either the Ghosts or Dyads, they were the better shoe for me for right now. They went out with me on my feet and immediately got a 6 mile workout.

Fleet Feet is more than just a shoe store, they are a member of our community. Their employees genuinely take an interest in you and listen to what you want shoes for and help you make a great purchase. As a company they also are great corporate citizens, and run some of the best races in the city. This is a gem retailer in our midst. Yes, you may be able to find that shoe at a bit better price somewhere else. You might. But will you be buying it from a retailer you WANT to be around for the rest of your running/walking/active life? Will that cheaper retailer be there for its community? Will you enjoy the purchase as much as you will when you buy a pair of shoes from FF knowing how much more than just a shoe store they are?

The 3D model of my foot they created helped them find me the perfect fit, and Josh was extremely helpful in selecting running shoes that work for my foot. Having a treadmill in the store was clutch. I would definitely recommend this store.

I have been going here for many years. Went in to get running shoes replaced. Had to wait for 10 minutes for someone even though the place was COMPLETELY empty. Once a person started to help me she left to take care of other people at the register even though there were two other workers there. I understood when she went because the other guy did not understand how to credit their reward system but then she checked out two more customers while I was waiting. Fed up, I decided to leave and said "I think its a bit rude for you to take care of other customers while I am there waiting". She replied "It's not my fault no one else is here" . This even though another employee was standing right next to her.

This store is not just for runners, but people with foot problems. All the staff are extremely knowledgable, and thanks to their help both my mom and I can walk pain-free. The ultimate BEST in customer service.

I consider myself a pretty serious walker and my feet hit with the intensity of Thors hammer on my commute. i sometimes even walk 2 miles at once. this is why i chose fleet feet. They truly understand how to fit my feet and my lifestyle. they had me take off my shoes to watch how my feet walk across the floor to assess what the lord has given me as far as genetic capabilities. turns out my feet are intended for super cushy shoes and premium insoles. they even got me shoes in my favorite color and they were on sale. cant recommend this enough.

Thank you so much to John, who was so kind and knowledgeable! I'm not a runner, but I needed some shoes that my picky feet could tolerate (and to use with my daughter because she wants to start running). He spent lots of time with me (including being very understanding about my silly toddler who wanted to nurse in between shoes and use everything as a lightsaber). And after all the time we spent, he found several shoes that didn't hurt my feet (which I haven't been able to do for two years)! I definitely recommend coming here to buy shoes!

This Fleet Feet location has good and knowledgeable staff. I bought a pair running shoes from them, and enjoy their run club, and free yoga on the weekends. The store is located in the heart of Lincoln Square. They have a great selection of shoes, and everything you need to get started running, or finishing a marathon.

This store is amazing! The woman who helped me (I don't remember her name but it was this past Sunday around 4:30pm and she had short brown hair) was so friendly and helpful. I recommend this store to anyone and everyone looking for new running shoes!

Erin was incredible to work with! She helped me find the exact shoe I fell in love with over a decade ago AND helped me find items in nutrition, hydration, clothing, and recovery to prepare for my very first marathon. Thank you Fleet Feet!

This is one of my favorite places to purchase gifts for friends and loved ones. They sell quality outerwear that is much cheaper than most of the major online retail stores. Most of the time, I save a whole lot of money by getting 30-50% off per item.

I have heard so much about this place from friends. After being fed up with not being able to find a decent pair of shoes for my specific needs I headed down to this place. Michael was quick to greet us and explained the whole process of how he was going to narrow down and find the perfect pair of shoes. Everything was so cool, from the 3D scan, to the different types and varieties of shoes. He was over the top when it came to helping me and I will definitely come back here. Thanks Michael!

I came here to get fitted for new running shoes as the last two pairs of Asics I bought online were not a good fit. The guy that fitted me was friendly and I ended up getting a pair of Brooks, which are the most comfortable running shoes I have ever owned. The price was the same as online, but I was determined to buy from them anyways as the service was excellent.

Mike was great. He helped my son get his first pair of official running shoes for X-country. I appreciated his expertise and knowledge in dealing with my sons pronation issues by using supportive green insoles.
In the future I will visit the Deerfield store to purchase running spikes. I also liked how the sales reps continuously acknowledged our presence while we were waiting and "Thanking us for our patience". Some businesses don't understand how important it is to acknowledge the customer. That little bit of kindness goes so far. I have gone to Fleet feet for the past 3 years to purchase my daughters X-Country shoes and when it was my sons turn I didn't hesitate to come back to this store once again.

Thanks again

A great place to get fitted for running shoes and gear. Not to mention, talk to the experts about training, fitness goals, nutrition, and all things to motivate a healthy lifestyle. If you want to get the most of your time there, get there on weekdays 10-5pm before the crowds pick up. Make it your check-in place to ask about how you can improve your runs.

Great running shoe store. Tabetha worked with me today to help me find a pair of shoes. She was great work with, very knowledgeable, and provided great insight for shoe fittings. The store has a wide selection of shoes from a variety of brands. The staff will size your feet with an electronic scan, discuss your running goals, and consider any previous injuries you may have had in the past. I've always have had a positive experience at this store.

Felt very safe trying on shoes amid COVID concerns. They make you put on a pair of socks from their store or offer you 1/2 off a new pair while trying on. Floors are mapped out for distancing, staff had masks and hand sanitizer too. Staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable during the fitting. They have a machine that will show them everything they need to know to get you fitted.

Staff wasn't too helpful with the shoe selection and I felt rushed with my decisions; (not too much feedback); maybe it was just a busy weekend and it so happened she didn't want to be there. Was looking for a long-term marathon shoe but just offered me an expensive replacement for my trainer shoes because she "looked online and found similar shoes" (I coulda' done that). Towards the end of my first time experience, one staff was very informative as i was looking around the store for other products besides shoes. Overall, wasn't worth the drive. Also did some research on my new shoes and I'll be returning those ASAP.

I m a repeat customer, but this time the salesman was pushy and condescending. Was much more focused on landing a quick commission than understanding my needs, even though the store was almost empty. I sent them an email to let them know about my negative experience and they didn t bother to respond. Google answered my questions that the salesman couldn t be bothered to, and I found the same shoes (Mizuno Wave Sky 2) through roadrunner for 20% off.

Walked in on a week day and although the two guys that work there were helping someone, there was never an attempt to ask if I needed anything or that they would help me once they were finished. Was completed ignored the whole 18 minutes I was in there. Never coming back to this place again as this was my second attempt at this store.

Terrible customer service. While employees chatted about their runs at front desk - check out area - I tried to find an appropriate pair of running shorts directly in front of them. Thought I was at a coffee house. Can't post less than one star.

A bunch of young prima-donnas who have nothing better to do than force-feed their egos onto the average customer. If you want to feel out of place and socially uncomfortable, this is the store to visit.

I got my very first pair of running shoes a week ago and found they didn't fit correctly. I went back and was immediately offered a return or an exchange. Jay was super patient and helpful as I tried on and ran in a bunch of different shoes until I found my perfect fit. I will be returning the next time I need shoes and telling all my friends about the process!

This is my favorite place to go for anything running or biking related. I ran track in high school (sprinted), but recently began running longer distances. Being completely new to long distance running (and running outside of school), the staff was incredibly helpful. In my opinion, an excellent salesperson is someone that helps you, never pressures you to purchase anything, gives honest opinions, and has my interests in mind. The women that assisted me helped me pick appropriate clothing, fit me properly, and decide which items were the most important as a beginning runner.

The selection is really great except between seasons and they carry excellent, well respected brands.
