We knew the FIVE Event Center was going to be our reception site the moment we stepped in. It's incredibly reasonably priced and has a lot of character. The brick walls, wood floors, and stone steps give it such a classic, elegant feel and is SO much better than a typical hotel ballroom.

The staff (in particular Danielle) was incredible to work with. They were calm, cool, and collected the entire night which helped calm our own nerves right before everything started. They were available for questions always and got back to us right away. The two weeks leading up to the event Danielle reached out to us more than once to make sure we were doing okay and if we needed anything.

Since the bar details are done through FIVE Event Center we relied heavily on their advice on how much to offer and what tastes are generally good ideas. While we didn't have a full open bar (again, we were determined to stay on our predetermined budget), Danielle helped walk us through what we could provide within our budget and worked to get us the best price.

We truly couldn't have had the wedding we wanted without this event space and their fantastic staff. I would highly, highly recommend and if we were to do it over I think we'd choose the venue again!

FIVE event center totally nailed everything we wanted and more for our wedding day! I was an oddball bride as I have never been one to dream of a wedding day or be super into the planning process - yet I still had a vision and some important aspects I wanted our day to encompass. FIVE event center staff were beyond awesome, the ease of the planning and making changed up until the last minute was so amazing, and our guests loved the space just as much as we did! It is such a beautiful space that it needs minimal decorations - and the bars downstairs and upstairs are so convenient (especially upstairs - right by the dance floor!!). I cannot stress enough how great and easy Shauna made it leading up to the big day - and on our actual wedding day her and her assistant were so awesome as well! I will always recommend this place for events!

My Husband and I had our ceremony and reception at FIVE Event Center and I must say it was THE BEST DECISION ever!! The venue is absolutely beautiful inside and out! You definitely don't need to add much! The coordinator and staff were very helpful and attended to all of our needs before and during the wedding. They made our rehearsal, wedding ceremony, reception, and after party smooth and very enjoyable! We seriously didn't need to worry about a thing!! We are so thankful to have had a great venue and staff to work with us. Our guests loved the ceremony/reception hall, the downstairs bar and social hour area, as well as the small patio outdoors. We loved that there were 2 bars within the venue!! Best thing ever!! Thank you Five Event Center for a wonderful and unforgettable day!

We held our ceremony and reception at FIVE Event Center and it was everything we wanted it to be! It was the perfect environment for our celestial themed wedding, and all our friends and family had nothing but wonderful things to say about it. Shauna was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and was always happy to answer questions and meet in person whenever it was most convenient for us. Would definitely recommend Shauna and FIVE!

Recently attended an event here and it was a great venue. The space has been recently remodeled and it was very welcoming and felt very classy! The staff at FIVE was very friendly and the food catered from Green Mill Catering was wonderful. With the new look I would recommend this space to anybody!

This was a great space to hold an event. I have been there previously and the updates are great. Much more functional layout and design. The staff is great to work with and the service was top notch. The decor is classy and it is a warm and welcoming environment. I would not hesitate to use this space again. It was great experience and I will be recommending it to my friends when looking for a venue.

We had our ceremony and reception at FIVE, and it was absolutely perfect. Shauna was there every step of the way for my many, many questions, and was always very quick to respond. Having the ceremony and reception in the same place was AMAZING, and they transformed the tables in a flash. When looking for a wedding venue, I wanted something simple and beautiful, but I wasn't willing to break the budget. We were able to do that with FIVE and have the wedding we had been dreaming of.

Our annual company party was held at Five Event Center, and it was the perfect location for our event! The staff was accommodating and helpful and were able to assist us with our many requests. The atmosphere is beautiful, and our 240 guests had more than ample space to party! We would definitely use FIVE for future events!

We held our wedding ceremony & reception at Five & couldn t be happier with how it turned out! We chose the venue based on the versatile space (Two floors: perfect for moving guests during room flip between wedding & party), budget-friendly pricing, helpful & friendly staff, and the overall beauty of the space! The building requires minimal decorating with its beautiful exposed brick walls and hardwood floors! Shauna was very easy to work with and helpful on all of our planning questions! (It was our first time after all :) Everything ran smoothly from start to finish! It was truly a beautiful day! I would definitely recommend this space to anyone hosting a wedding or event!

Very cool place. Went to a wedding here. There is a large bar and mingling area when you go in, and a huge stare case up to the dining are with room for dancing and another bar. It was a really fun reception!

Wow, wonderful venue! Loved the vibe and our event thankfully had valet parking attendant! Wonderful amount of space. One thing I would have changed is the staff undecorating the room and taking down the tables when our program had just ended.

Shauna and Danielle were both incredibly helpful every step of the way whether it was sending photos of past weddings to inspire me for decorations or answering my many frantic emails. Our guests were so impressed with all aspects. So thankful for working with them!

This was a great day!! We had our office awards ceremony with about 120 people. The place is beautiful on the inside and everything was set up exactly how we asked for it to be. The staff was kind and took good care of everyone. We worked with Shauna, who was also on-site to make sure it went off without a hitch! We WILL be back and I heard several people say they wanted to host private events there!

I thought it was a nice place, but not in a very good neighborhood. Parking is also really sketchy and hard to find. My fiance noticed that the upstairs was unlevel, with the floor sagging between the beams. The stairway upstairs was also pulling away from the wall in places and lastly, the bridal area was really far away! You have to walk through the coat closet to get anywhere and there is no spot for the guys.

We held our wedding reception at FIVE on 10/12/19. We booked the venue in August of 2018 after seeing a number of venues in the Twin Cities. Nothing compared to the modern/upscale industrial feel that FIVE has. Their price is unbeatable and they are so easy to work with. They have a lot of fantastic vendor partners and are willing to help you with any crazy or unique ideas that you may have (please see more details below). We originally did our planning with Shauna but after she moved we began working with Renee who was absolutely fantastic. She made us feel so calm and secure that our day would go just as we had hoped for. Cannot recommend FIVE enough!

We had 175 guests, 20 guest tables, a pizza buffet, a photo booth, a dessert table and a popcorn bar table. FIVE did a fantastic job helping us coordinate all of our special requests (we had a mobile wood fire pizza oven for dinner and individualized MN craft beer flights).

This place is a great venue to hold any formal or informal party wedding or reception there their menu is very good and though it's a little pricey the service is excellent they have dining and dancing if you choose to order that for your party and their dinner wear is top notch their presentation is excellent the staff is professional and tedious in their work ethics

Our wedding reception at FIVE was perfect. The venue is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the whole experience was everything we had hoped for. If you aren't sure about FIVE, definitely go check it out - you won't regret it!

GREAT VENUE!! We came for a Friday night wedding which was upstairs, then we had cocktail hour downstairs while they reconfigured the space for dinner. It all went smoothly and both setups were just beautiful! Staff was mostly friendly and efficient. They might have been a little more discriminating about not clearing partially finished drinks so fast, because we kept losing our water glasses and one drink due to their hyper efficiency while we were dancing. But that little thing did nothing to dim an AMAZING evening!

I have so many good things to say about FIVE. We had our wedding ceremony and reception in the space and the whole day was pretty much seamless. Danielle was amazing to work with and went above and beyond expectations, answering every question and call with so much patience and detail. Our Sunday brunch wedding was incredible, and we owe a lot of that to Danielle s thoughtful coordination. I would recommend FIVE to anyone.

Really fun venue. I will say the wedding i was at here had a dance after and there was absolutely no service refilling the water container on the second floor where the dinner and dance was held. Either install a more permanent water dispenser or have someone staffed for dance time.

Great location for a wedding. Wedding can't be too large or it gets a bit hectic though.

We held our ceremony & reception at FIVE and it was absolutely perfect. From the super informative first meeting to prompt responses to all of our (many) questions, to the execution & problem solving day-of, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The space is so lovely, we didn't really need to do much to decorate at all. And the team is incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially as we got closer to the event and were so scattered! I was also super impressed at how seamless the room flip upstairs was and Shauna was fantastic about working with me and the day-of coordinator to make sure everyone was where they needed to be and everything was in its place. I honestly didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day - zero stress! I would absolutely recommend FIVE for any event, but think it is one of the best, prettiest, and most convenient spaces for a wedding in the Twin Cities.

FIVE is a beautiful venue for any wedding ceremony or reception. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience working with Shauna and the other staff members. They were very responsive to all of our questions and extremely helpful on the day of our wedding. We received several compliments from our guests about the beauty of this space.

We had both our ceremony & reception at FIVE Event Center and everything went great from start to finish. We were able to visit the space multiple times leading up to the event, which made decorating easier and gave our photographer a chance to scope out the lighting at the event center. The brick walls and the bars were perfect for photos.

Sarah at FIVE is awesome. She thought through all of the details with us and was always super quick to respond to our many questions. She was accommodating and met our needs whenever we needed anything. She gave great advice leading up to the day and on the day of, she made sure that the event ran smoothly, which it did.

The other staff at FIVE were also great. The bartenders & closing staff helped us out towards the end of the night and kept great attitudes throughout the evening. We added a valet service to help guests with parking being that it's in Uptown Minneapolis and they did a good job too.

Overall I would recommend getting married here - the staff are great, the space is beautiful (and less pricey than other Uptown venues), and our guests loved it.

We were so happy to have booked the FIVE for our reception and would not have chosen any other location. Danielle, Shauna, and everyone we encountered exemplified professionalism. Our needs we well addressed throughout the planning process. On the big day, Shauna was well accessible and made sure the entire evening flowed as seamlessly as possible. We simply cannot express how impressed and thankful we were about our time with Shauna and the FIVE. The beautifully renovated space is so well styled that it stood out on its own, requiring minimal added decor. The top floor housed our 200 guests comfortably. And above all, our guests loved being at the FIVE and we had so many inquiries about the space. Every aspect was perfect. We will always think fondly of this location and hope to return for any future event.

FIVE was amazing to work with. From our first meeting to the day of they helped us with all of our questions! The space was a huge hit with our guests and fit our guest list of 130 perfectly and there was plenty of room leftover. We were able to personalize the space how we wanted and it was so gorgeous that we hardly needed to decorate at all. The bar service was fantastic and their recommended caterer The Green Mill was amazing. Everything went absolutely perfectly and we couldn't have asked for a better venue! Thank you FIVE!

This venue is very classy! Our event had about 225 people and it was a very comfortable fit.The space was recently remodeled and we were thrilled with the end result. We had very little decor and got many compliments on how beautiful everything was. This space was a value, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the food provided by Sterling Catering was amazing! I would highly recommend this space to anybody looking for a venue for any type of event.

We got married at the FIVE Event Center on 02/24/18 and it was perfect. When we first signed the contact, we worked with Danielle and she was fantastic. When Danielle obtained a new opportunity at a different venue we got to work with Shauna. Shauna was amazing to work with, especially when we made a bunch of last minute changes. She helped up finalize our timeline and other logistical matters as neither of us have been married before. On our wedding day, Shauna and Carmen helped to make sure everything went smooth for us (and it did!) Because we had our ceremony at the FIVE Event Center, we had to flip our ceremony room to the reception room while the guests had a cocktail hour. While they only had one hour to flip it, they did it seamlessly, even while we were taking family photos! For anyone looking for a venue with historic appeal, excellent wedding coordination, and a WOW factor, my husband and I highly recommend FIVE Event Center.

FiVE Event Center was phenomenal to work with on a recent client event! With it being a client event and involving my business, venues and their team members can make or break a great production - and Shauna and the team at FiVE were both accommodating and professional. It was a great venue selection for our fashion show and recommend that organizations work with them on productions that matter. They executed on the important details on their end - and with a strong event team on your end - you can help wow your audience and guests.

From the second we toured FIVE, we knew it was the perfect setting for our winter wedding and reception. The event staff were so responsive during our long year of planning, and everything turned out absolutely perfectly. We used five for our wedding reception! The venue is beautiful and Sarah answered every single one of my questions patiently. Everything on the day of went smoothly. I couldn t imagine a better venue.

House was packed for a wedding. Bar service was only so-so on lower level for "cocktail hour". Speaker system upstairs was fine when talking on mic but awful for music and dancing. Parking here is horrible..

FIVE Event Center was a fantastic venue. We have nothing but good things to say about it. Our guests kept complimenting the venue and thought that it was such a unique and fun venue. The first floor bar area was perfect for our guests for the cocktail hour and they were then all amazed by the space upstairs. Both floors provided a unique and beautiful space for our wedding. The staff were great as well! They were always responding quickly and extremely helpful and flexible in helping us create our perfect day. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone who wants something unique, industrial and fun for guests.

The Main Street School of Performing Arts hosted its annual fundraiser SPARK the ARTS at the FIVE, and it was amazing. The staff at FIVE was able to handle all the craziness of our performers and our activities throughout the space. The catering staff was so attentive and the food was outstanding!

Our event had over 160 attendees and performers and never once did we feel cramped or crowded. The space is beautiful, well maintained and so adaptable to any event.

Recently held an event at the Five Event Center located on Bryant Avenue in Minneapolis and I came away very impressed. Everyone had a great time and loved the newly updated space. The staff was awesome and helpful, and there was plenty of room for dinner and the band. The food from Sterling Catering was also spectacular to say the least. It used to be an old police precinct and has all the character and charm of an old-school brick building, merged with a fresh new look! Another great perk is the amount of onsite and nearby parking. I'd recommend Five and their caterers for any event!

So many amazing things to say. The venue is gorgeous, yet so unique. Our guests were wowed by the venue and so were we! Shauna was so accommodating and helpful throughout the entirety of the process. She made it so easy to make this a special night! We cannot thank her enough!

As my wife and I have planned multiple events at this venue, being as we are owners of a wedding and event planning company called ForSqare Consulting, we are always relieved and thrilled when our groups mention that one of their choice options is FIVE!! Between the city feel, wonderful open two story facility and a staff that knows how to get things done, you can't lose and won't be disappointed. FIVE's unique setup will allow you to customize your event theme....anything from a sheik city wedding to a company gathering, this venue offers a ton of directions.

Attended a wedding at this facility. It was very nice. Things were set in a timely manner and we'll done. Meal was very good, social time was good with time and place to mingle and meet. Valet parking was well done.

Cathy is an employee at five Event Center oh, she is absolutely amazing and was so helpful yesterday.I appreciated her immediate help yesterday. We laughed and talked while she attended to my needs. What a Wonderful Person to have working for you. Her amazing warm friendly presence made me want to apply there for a job. Cathy please keep up the great work and carry on in your bright presence. This experience is what makes me remember why I love people so much...

Nice entertainment center but questionable people who come here. They re either upset most likely because of their life decisions, or just angry at the world.

Attracting a better clientele = more stars.

Five event center was the best place to hold not only our ceremony but also our reception. They were able to accommodate our 150 guest count no problem. We heard many compliments about the friendliness of the bar tenders and their attention to detail. I will also say they were great at helping set up and take down our tables, chairs, and clean up. When we started planning our wedding we were paired with Shauna and she was amazing to work with. She was prompt at answering all our emails and phone calls and made sure to help us in anyway. Unfortunately half way through she had left and we were introduced to Sarah. We did not feel as comfortable with the new coordinator as she was not the greatest at returning any of our phone calls, told us we could have the venue for rehearsal for a longer period than we actually were able to, also told us we could bring food for the rehearsal then we couldn't and the week of our wedding gave us a scare in telling us all of Bryant street was going to be shut down. It would have been a lot easier if she would have just let us know she did not know the answer to our questions and get back to us as soon as she did. Minus the lack of customer service we received with that I would do it all over again there as it made my wedding visions come true!

Our reception at Five Event Center was amazing. Shauna was very easy to work with and was quick to answer any questions or updates we had in our plans. In the end our day went off without a hitch, and we couldn't be happier with the venue we chose!

Working with Shauna on our wedding ceremony and reception at the FIVE was a dream. She was so helpful and responsive to all of our questions leading up to the event and was very accommodating when we wanted to stop by the see the space a couple times beforehand! As a girl who's dreamed about her wedding day since she was little, the FIVE made all visions, planning, and wedding hopes come true! The space was perfectly modern with beautiful exposed brick and industrial accents. The flexibility of the space was great and we really felt like we could personalize it to fit us in special ways. We loved our experience working with Shauna and are so pleased with FIVE as our venue!

This place is the best place to have a wedding. The employees are all friendly. The event staff keeps in touch. They make your dream wedding a reality. Danielle and Shauna I just want to personally thank you for making last night happen during this pandemic. You ladies and your staff are amazing. You're place is worth 10 stars to me!! I attended a wedding here, and it's a nice little space. The second floor is a nice, spacious area with a bar at one end, but the first floor is a little cramped. The first floor bathrooms also take a little bit to figure out.

This venue is beautiful! We had our wedding ceremony upstairs, the cocktail hour on the lower level, and finally the reception back upstairs. There is plenty of space in the back such that the caterers and support staff can get everything ready without being disruptive in any way. Shauna was a pleasure to work with, and everything went really smoothly in both the prep and the day-of. The only possible issue someone might have is that the parking lot is relatively small (40 spots), but this isn't surprising given the location. They do have street parking and also offer a valet service. In hindsight, maybe we should have chosen to pay for that service. Nevertheless, we had a FANTASTIC time. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose FIVE again in a heartbeat. We highly recommend this venue.

Bruce, the owner, is the reason we will never use the Five Event Center. When looking for wedding reception spots, we contacted Bruce to setup a tour for Saturday. He agreed and requested we inform him at least 30 minutes ahead if we have to cancel. After spending the morning looking at places, we found our venue, and called Bruce to cancel, 45 minutes ahead of the appointment. He said all was fine and we hung up. 5 minutes later Bruce calls back and states "This may be bad for business, but you cancelling is bulls***. I have things to do today and want you to know how rude this is to waste my time," and hung up. We opted not to call back, although he put a damper on our day. 10 minutes later I get a text from Bruce stating "You're an a**hole." I texted him back threatening to call the cops if he did not leave us alone to which he stated "lol f*** you." Now that you know the owner's true colors; I would recommend taking your business anywhere else.

Five Event Center was a perfect venue for our daughters wedding celebration! Initially I worked with Danielle and could not say enough about her. She was very professional and knowledgeable yet she was very personable. I left our first meeting feeling very confidnet in her abilities. A couple of weeks prior to the wedding, Danielle told me she was going to pursue other opportunities and I would be working with Shauna. I was a little nervous at first since I had not worked with Shauna but she proved to be just as capable and professional. Everything went smoothly and the wedding was beautiful! I really appreciated their flexibility to our requests. All of the staff that I have worked with there are so nice and friendly. I loved having the 2 seperate floors (one for cocktails and the other for the ceromony, dinner and dance). On the day of the wedding, we had a lot of snow and icy roads. Five Event Center provided us with complimentary valet parking due to the weather. This was so appreciated and not expected. I would highly recommend this venue.

Our wedding day experience was beyond our expectations. Our family and friends were delighted. From helping envision our wedding from the first visit to the venue, to helping plan the big day, to helping bring all of it together, and making our big day more then memorable, Danielle and the Five Event Center staff were spectacular. We had our ceremony and reception at FIVE and we have been telling everyone how much we loved it! Right from the beginning it was clear to see that we would be getting more than just a beautiful venue - but an amazing event planner as well. Danielle's passion for event planning makes her unique in that she is always there for you. She advocates on her clients behalf and is always willing to bounce ideas back and forth with them. The space was absolutely beautiful and fit our 170 guests perfectly. We loved the flexibility and the cost. Wishing we could do it all over again, just so we could use FIVE one more time!

We hosted a work event here for an awards ceremony for 150 people. The staff was a pleasure to work with and they made the planning of the event seamless! The parking can be tough around the area, and the set up of the projector/microphones was less than ideal, but we enjoyed our time and recommend this place for large events!

Last Saturday I got the honor to dj a wedding at the 5 event center and I am not a big fan of venues in Minneapolis mn but I was honestly wowed by the service of this event center. If your looking for a very classy and contemporary place to have an event, you must check this one out. Staff was very nice and pleasant and venue was very clean, I'm with jps Entertainment and I have been the dj at nearly 1100 weddings and there were 5 star hotels that weren't even as nice as this place. Great job guys!!! You all deserve a pat on your back. Hope to work here again.

We had our Ceremony & Reception at FIVE and everything (from planning to the event itself) went along smoothly. The catering manager and event manager were great to work with and answered all of our questions throughout the process. We had many compliments on how beautiful the space was (high ceiling and exposed brick is lovely) and we didn't need to do much to decorate (few signs, flower centerpieces and greens along railings/windowsills). The guests loved the food - we went with Sterling Catering. It really was the best night of my life marrying my best friend and could focus on the special night knowing that everything was taken care of.

The event was well organized and the food and staff were very friendly;!
