FitTennis Review

I made a reservation for 2 nights with my family of six. It was supposed to be a weekend get away for my birthday. Reservations were made 2 weeks early. I called on two occasions to verify everything was fine which I was informed everything was great and that they were just awaiting my arrival . Only to get at the hotel after driving 6 hours with two babies they told me that they did not reserved my rooms. To add insult to injury the boy in the front Dan, told me that he called the manager and she told him that because my reservation was booked through a third party, they can not guarantee my stay. I asked why wasn't I informed of this when I called twice? He didn't answer me. Then her said the manager saI'd to refund your money. I am like what? My babies are crying in the car I didn't know what else to do. They boy then walked away after i requested the manager and I never saw him again. It took the manager 20mins to come and see me. I'm standing at the front desk and mosquitos bitting my legs. Oh my Lord such horrible experience. Manager comes with an attitude and couldn't help me either. They have very limited bathrooms with tubs. All roll in showers according to the manager. Which was not suitable for me because I needed to give the girls a bath. No one could accommodate me and my girls. I felt like crying because as a mother, you want to make sure you kids at comfortable and safe that was why I made this reservation 2 week before. I did not feel safe at this hotel. After 45 mins of back and forth. I stood right in front of the manager and called Marriott hotel near by and blessedly, I was able to book two rooms immediately. The manager printed my refund receipt and I left as fast as I could. Please do not take your family here. It's not family oriented especially when you have small kids. These people don't care at all.

What a lovely stay. When I got into my room I couldn't get the TV to work and the front desk immediately sent someone up to help figure it out. It was just on the wrong input and I am not technologically inclined in any way. Thank you for helping me enjoy my night here.

Most complete fitness center I've seen at a hotel. Indoor pool. Outdoor tennis. Trail through woods.

Great customer service good food and peaceful place. My husband and I enjoyed walking by the lake.

Stayed 4 nights for a conference. Room was nice and conference logistics were well organized. Rooms were prepped and food was on time and we'll executed.

First I would like to say when I called IGH group to book my reservation for the Holiday Inn Express in Princeton they never once told me my reservation was being changed due to Covid. When I arrived at Holiday Inn the doors were locked and there was a piece of paper telling us to go to the Crown Plaza. So upon arrival my family and I were already upset with the customer service.We also ordered a room on the executive floor and they never told us all the executive features were closed.
When we entered our room we had no television as apparently Direct TV was down. The room itself and the grounds is why they recieved any stars. It is a beautiful hotel chalk full of amenities.
The staff did not do anything about people walking around without a mask on so if you are worried about that I would avoid this hotel for a few months.
I did try and find another hotel in the area however they were all booked. All in all I would not stay here again for the price to many issues.

The staff were phenomenal, funny, helpful, genuine.

Very nice rooms and helpful staff. There for business and stay was very comfortable. Rooms are clean with good beds, leaning on firm. Ample pillows and towels along with good water pressure. My room had a mini fridge as well as a coffee maker with several pods.
There is an in house restaurant and lounge. The drinks can be a bit pricey and can build up pretty quick.
Several game tables are right off the lounge and make for a bit of fun.
Mostly business friendly but I can think of no reason kids would not be welcomed.
Room service is also available. Very good stay, would recommend.

I stayed here on a recent work trip. The rooms and bathrooms are a comfortable size and the staff are very friendly.
Breakfast was great. However, dinner was not as good as I had expected and the food at the local Witherspoons Grill was definitely a level above what was available in the hotel.
Wifi is available but when the hotel is full the wifi is not able to sufficiently support all the traffic.
From a location perspective, the hotel is positioned on a stunning piece of ground. It is very quiet and relaxing. If you'd like to get to any shops or to Princeton, you'd need to get an Uber or have your own car as nothing is within walking distance.

I felt spoiled as a Spire Elite member. Reserved parking spaces, room upgrade to the quietest room I ever had in a hotel, excellent breakfast with cooked to order eggs, smoked salmon, and tons of fresh fruit, and exceptional customer service all around.

Nice old hotel. Staff are very friendly in general. Surrounded by woodland even though next to HWY 1. Tucked inside so quite quiet.
Rooms were clean but dark. Lots of pillows. Beds were ok. Safe deposit boxes didn't work when we arrived but someone came and fix them. Rooms have no USB outlets. The only available power outlet was not usable as the space between two power plugs were small so we couldn't plug in our own charger.
Bathroom were clean and water pressure was good. Amenities were tiny bottles but sufficient. Towels were clean.
Due to the pandemic, housekeeping would only come every 5 days or when requested. We requested for only change of towels but housekeeping never came. When we called late afternoon, the supervisor dropped off new towels so we had all the dirty towels tucked in the bathroom.
Pool was open and big. Pool area was warm but water was on the cold side. Not too bad since the whole area was relatively warm. Towels were small and there were none on the first day. More towels were available on the second day. Gym area was open.
Our keys stopped working the second day and it was a long walk back/forth.

We've enjoyed our stay. Staff members are helpful and friendly. Check in was a breeze. Beds and rooms are comfortable. The site itself is nice and well maintained. Also liked that our friends who stayed at the Holiday Inn were a simple walk over an indoor bridge away.

Was at the Crowne Plaza for a 3 nights stay during a buisness trip in Princeton. Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. They have a nice restaurant on site and a cool bar.

Me and my wife had a great time at this hotel! It was very clean, staff was very nice, the amenities are awesome and the location is great! There is much to do in this hotel to keep you entertained! We definitely would love to go back! We did the "Romance Getaway" package that included breakfast and breakfast at the "Forrestal Grille" was very good every morning...even the staff there was very nice especially Maria who always greeted us with a smile everyday. She was so nice and pleasant and was the same way everyday!

Beautiful place and clean. Lots of things to do in the hotel as well, and the gym is pretty spacious

Great place for business people. If I were a businessperson this would be a five star hotel. I am a family man entertaining kids that is why it received four stars.

Conference room was clean and functional. A bit warm. Food served at lunch was good.

I gave four stars but the reason I did not get 5 or just small reasons I would highly recommend this hotel it's just a little walk to get in because the parking lot is a little bit away from the front entrance and if it's raining it could be a little issue but you can always drop off your luggage at the front the restaurant is nice buffet style in the morning but a little bit crowded and hard to get in but you can take your food to your room if you choose but overall the hotel and the rooms are really really nice and again I would highly recommend staying here very nice hotel and nice staff and good clean rooms and comfortable beds

Lovely room, views and hotel premises. Little pissed that no one told me that a measly hotel breakfast was $17+ and not included in the price. I was told the price after I sat down with a place. A damned scam. You think I would've chosen your cereal over a nice breakfast in Princeton cafe??! I hope the $17 bucks and a lie is worth those two stars.

Lot's of stuff to do... But not enough outlets in the room

The Hotel is certainly a beautiful structure. neat and clean the park and parking. The rooms could be cleaner. Excellent reception. It could improve the attitude of the staff to the breakfasts (perhaps letting the cell phone in the locker room rather than seeing the maid chatting during the service) excellent the buffet.
I will definitely be back.

The WiFi wasn't working and some issues with the bathroom. Otherwise the stay was fine.

The Crowne Plaza is tucked out of the way. Don't expect the most charming experience. I think that they primarily cater to business people - it is attached to a conference center after all. I've often been able to get a good rate through Hotwire. On the weekends, the place can sometimes be noisy with travelers. The rooms are comfortable. I find the beds to be firm which I like. Service is ok.

Very very bad. You have absolutely no wifi and no service. No microwave in room. There are no network towers nearby to connect to. Other than that, the rooms look nice

Very nice hotel! Friendly, helpful staff..room was very clean!! Pretty quite area, I just wish the hot tub would've been working while we stayed there but over all, it was nice!

Nice hotel. Only had shower, no bath. The pool was very long (I'm guessing 50m), but also very cold. It has a nice hot tub. I found a "many-legged" bug in the shower, which was gross.

Came for a trip to Sesame Place for my grandsons birthday. Everyone at the hotel was nice. Rooms were clean and the pool and fitness area were nicer then most hotels. I will definitely being staying here again!

This hotel at first glance appears to be out of the way but upon arrival it actually is centrally located to stores and only about 30-40 minutes from various shore points and amusements. The rooms are clean and fairly updated with great amenities. The service is great. We called down to get extra pillows and bedding for the sleeper sofa and our request was fulfilled within 10 minutes. Overall a good hotel.

Room was a very good size. Price was more reasonable then comparable hotels in the area. Pool was very large. My kids really enjoyed the basketball court. Really enjoyed our stay.

Room was very clean with modern furnishings. We found the bed very comfortable and the pillows had good loft. The bathroom was cramped but nicely finished. The shower head was awesomely high up! Biggests issues we're slow and dated elevators and far parking lot.

Very nice new hotel and the rooms were very spacious loved them. The staff made so many mistakes really let's the whole hotel down. Not booking shuttles, forgetting room bookings, unsure where we are meant to have breakfast and what timings had been given.

Clean rooms, nice amenities next to Novo Nordisk. Quiet forested surroundings.

The employees were professional and polite, and the hotel/ conference center were beautiful! I just wish the signs were bigger, I drove right past it the first time.

Very accommodating staff and the food is pretty good for Jersey.

Ate at their bar. Ordered Ahi Tuna sliders and felafel plate. Was expecting small plate of average bar food. The appetizers were meals in disguise! Ahi Tuna was cooked perfectly with micro greens and a great sauce accompanied with fries. The felafel was as good as any I have eaten in the Middle East. The tabouli was as good as I have ever eaten. Oh yeah the appetizers were inexpensive
Who'ever that chef was, he really was a great surprise for a hotel restaurant. I was impressed.

Nice hotel. Helpful customer service and reception. Pool gets crowded on weekends.

Room was a good size. Montel the van driver was great. Good full breakfast that was included. Only problem was the room was not made up when we returned from a trip to Princeton. Pool was big.

checked out some drug rehabs all day and did not want to make drive home so got a room and it is not too bad, especially for the price- nice large rooms great shower/tub The only thing that stuck out to me was there needs to be more maintenance/upkeep- some things just needed a screw tightened or cleaned really good, other thant that, not bad.

I have started here twice, I loved it, spacious rooms lots of places to eat around the hotel.. can t complain
