Another great meal. It's a little pricey, but worth it! The only downside was the mussels. They were larger than normal and rubbery. I prefer the small mussels. Our waitress was excellent and right on time. If you've never been to fisherman's inn... Go!

Great salads very fresh Super entrees delivered hot n tasty Shrimp, crab cakes and fish n chips perfect All at very reasonable prices Dont miss out on this dining experience
One of the better seafood restaurants along route 50. Extensive menu, mostly excellent food. They make most salad dressings in house, probably the delicious dinner rolls as well. Lots of fresh local fish they specialize in rockfish. By all means order the ipswich clams when available, but I'd pass on the local soft shell (long neck) clams. They weren't very fresh.
Been going since I was so young with my family. Food is delicious and always fresh! Love their crabmeat especially. Also great service and atmosphere. They even have a train on railroad tracks along the ceiling go through the restaurant. Which my nieces love to watch go by while waiting for their food.
Been going for many years. Very nice remodeling and delicious menu. Well presented and ample servings. Very friendly and well trained staff. Fair prices.
Great menu - looks fancy but there is no need to dress up - reasonably priced lunches and not overly priced dinners. Everything is excellent and staff is superb.
Fantastic seafood, good service ( except for the snotty young blonde hostess that seated us) and good ambience. The imperial crab was absolutely perfect.
Good food. We were seated, asked for a table with a view. Seated at a table in the room and we at least could see out the windows. They came and made us move to a booth inside with no view for a large group that was coming. They never seated anyone at the table they moved us from. Other than that seemingly rude and frustrating move, our waitress, Skylar, was good and attentive and we enjoyed the lobster tail, coconut shrimp, and crabcakes.
The Fisherman's Inn is a very nice place to eat a meal. The food is so tasty that it melts every time you take a bite. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. I and my Husband enjoyed our meal very much. Thank you, Joyce A. Wanzel
I went for an early dinner with a friend. Our waitress was KYLIE D. She was sweet, Informative and attentive. The food was amazing. My friend got 2 orders of the stuffed soft crabs and I got surf and turf stuffed. We are going back next week for my friend's birthday and hope to get the same waitress.
Great place to stop on the way to Ocean City . A Bit pricey , But the seafood is fresh. . Last time we stopped in the service was a little slow. But it's not like that all the time.
Excellent service ambiance and food! My guest and I had the Crab and Corn Fritters as an appetizer followed by the Crab Sandwich/ Crab Meal for our lunch entree. Fishermans Inn has a great beer/wine selection as well as a rather extensive selection of Maryland Eastern Shore seafood fare. Easy to get to and family friendly.
Iloved it that best atmosphere there experince to menu. I said awesome YUMMY them food. In before we went eat there seat -n eat at fisherman's restaurant. I wish so it would for tuna for dinner.! But it seemvery good them menu.
We sat by the garden window and watched baby bunnies while waiting for our dinner. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Really enjoyed dinning at Fisherman's.
Have never had a bad dining experience at Fisherman's Inn. As we retired several years ago and moved to Florida it was nice meeting up with old friends to chat and enjoy a delightful dining experience.
Fishermans and the Crab deck are both great restaurants & great food, glad we live on the shore near by and go when ever we can. there is a mix of locals and travelers. If the locals like it its good!
Exellent food. Delightful ambiance, from suspended G scale model railroad to picture pretty friendship garden & water view at back of main dining room. Huge & fabulous collection of rare antique oyster plates. Restaurant established in early 1900s. Also has separate Crab Deck & seafood market. It will be the first restaurant we go to, if we ever come back to Kent Island MD.
I stop in at Fisherman's Inn on my way home from work a couple of times a year when my family leaves me to dine on my own. Tonight i stopped in, and ordered my usual bowl of Maryland Crab Soup, and was not disappointed. After the soup, I went a little outside of my comfort zone and ordered the Lobster Ravioli off the specials, and all I can say is WOW. I wasn't expecting much, the usual smattering of lobster and a not-exciting sauce. I was pleasantly pleased to find fresh-made ravioli with plenty of lobster claw meat inside, and the sauce was thick, rich, and LOADED with lobster claw and knuckle meat! There must have been 1/4 pound of meat or more in the dish. The dish was extremely rich, and I had to take 2 raviolis and some of the sauce home as leftovers for tomorrow. In summary, another great trip to Fisherman's Inn. I've been going here "periodically" for over 25 years, and it's always been consistent and friendly.
I was stuck in a heinous backup for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and decided to get off and have dinner. Good decision! This place is warm and welcoming. It is also unique. Nobody has the collection of antique oyster plates or the electric train running around on a track suspended from the ceiling. The service was great and the food was good.
Fisherman's Inn is a Kent Island staple, and any time we have any reasonable excuse to stop we do so. Today's fare included the fantastic cream of crab soup, a generous wedge, and a seafood steamer. All were excellent!
Stopped here for first time, I can't believe we've just driven by and missed this place for so many years! Nice dining room, lively bar, attentive and friendly service, very good food. Try the Primo Crabcake, pricey but a pile of beautiful jumbo lump crab meat lightly seasoned and broiled. I wouldn't call it a crabcake really, but still very good.
The fried oysters were big, fat, juicy and plump nicely presented (See photos). Also tried the Maryland crab soup (red) and it was excellent! Like my grandmother use to make!
We had a wonderful server, Janet, who clearly loved her job and Fishermans Inn... she said she'd been with them for 30 yrs! That should give you a good indication how well loved and respected this Eastern Shore gem is.
Loved seeing Missy Betty's (the original owner) oyster plate collection, and the train going around overhead. I can see why this place is loved so, and holds special memories for families.
We're excited to return in warm weather and enjoy a meal on the Crab Deck outside.
Overpriced.. bits of crabshell on my Chicken Chesapeake.. and they have a little train up at ceiling level doing laps around the restaurant... AND IT SQUEAKS. INCESSANTLY. I was ready to Micheal Jordon smack it down.. and I'm a fat 44 year old man.
I've eaten here multiple times and the food is always excellent. Tried the fried soft shell crab topped with crab imperial today and it exceeded expectations. I meant to take a picture but it looked so good that I just dug right in! Every bite was a delight. You'll love this place.
This is the quintessential Chesapeake Bay crab deck. If you visit only one, come here and soak up the rustic waterside atmosphere. Adventurous souls can do no better than ordering whole crabs to pick apart on tables covered in brown paper and smattered with Old Bay seasoning. For beginners, the excellent lump crab cakes always hit the spot.
Very disappointing, my imperial stuff shrimp wasn't imperial at all, it was regular crabmeat and what's worse, my mother's coleslaw had a strand of hair in it. Very very disappointing
First time trying this place, not in a hurry to return. A little pricey for the food portions. Was expecting awesome flavors for a seafood restaurant on the water, Shrimp salad had no flavor and the crab dip was less than crabby. Cocktails were delicious!
Beautiful interior, friendly staff and amazing seafood make this restaurant worth the trip every time. It is more expensive, but it is seafood, so it should not be a surprise.
The worst part was trying to choose from the amazing menu! Everything was excellent, seafood so fresh, great service from Skylar, definitely worth a return trip!!
Very nice atmosphere and staff. Oysters Rockefeller were delicious as was the blackened swordfish. Salad was fresh and salmon done just right. Nice sized lunch crowd so you know you can't go wrong. It's worth a stop.
