Great food local fresh caught seafood great service and atmosphere
I got carryout. Crab cake has no complaints here, sooo sooo good
Good food and service. Nice view overlooking water.
Very nice place. Our waitress was very friendly. The actual restaurant is beautiful and they offer a separate crab house. The food was a little bland. Had the coconut pie for dessert. It was creamy but not sweet enough for my taste.
I've visited many times over past 30-40 years, and never had a bad meal. Quality and service always outstanding.
Always makes me feel great! Has the best gluten free menu in 3 counties
This is a great restaurant with amazing food and decor. You can see the bay right out the window, and the service is great. Perfect if you are stuck in traffic on Route 50 and are hungry, and waiting for the traffic to die down. It happens a lot, so you will have plenty of opportunities! (Also me irl)
Great dining experience, took the family out and had a great meal. Definitely a little pricey, but its n oi t a bar and crab joint. It's fine dining, and it's worth every penny! Kudos to the waitress who kept the drinks flowing, and the food coming at just the right pace. It takes skill. My compliments to the chef.
The atmosphere is nice and the food is excellent. I would visit again.
Great food and quick service. It wasnt overly crowded at dinner time around 6pm on a Saturday, likely still due to the pandemic but enjoyed our meal...minus the risotto which wasn't cooked properly. Definitely save room for dessert.
Wonderful food and service with a smile. Love the trains.
Seafood was delicious.
Atmosphere delightful.
Delicious food and great service!!! Can't wait to go back again!!!
I've been coming here for well over a decade, and the restaurant has always been improving. While the food is FAR overpriced, it is consistently delicious. The wait time is usually short, and the service is good. Definitely worth a visit if you don't mind paying extra.
Friendly staff. Good food. However, the fried shrimp on the Kids' menu-was fried to hard for any child to eat.
Overrated and Overpriced. Seafood is mediocre to blah.
This place is right by the Kent narrow bridge, on our way to the beaches in Delaware. We've stopped here every year on the way both to and from the beach. They're cream of crab soup is amazing. I also enjoyed their broiled crab balls. They're kind of like a crab cake but miniature, and all crab, no filler. We will continue to go here as long as I'm able to travel to the beach.
My favorite place to eat on the shore. Food is excellent.
Both the food and service was absolutley wonderful. I was very impressed. The atmosphere is beautiful too. I went with my mom and we got the plank grilled salmon and cod nantucket. Both were delicious. Our waiter was so friendly, one of the best waiters I've ever had actually. Would highly recomend this place.
Fisherman's Inn is a great local/family seafood restaurant. Nothing too fancy, but your favorite local seafood will likely be here. The cream of crab soup is fantastic, and I loved the coconut cream pie. The panko crusted tuna I had was pretty good, although I'll ask to have it done rare if I order it again. My wife loved her shrimp stuffed with crab imperial. The rockfish bites appetizer may have been my favorite, though. Don't come looking for fancy - I'd rate it a 3 or 4 against high-end DC seafood, but you'll be more than satisfied if you come looking for a local gem with great straightforward seafood. And I'll mention the desserts again. Great selection, and both the house made ice cream and pie we had were wonderful.
Excellent service and delicious food! Highly recommended!
Fisherman's Inn has been a family favorite for several generations. It has always been the go to place for quality, fresh local seafood prepared the way Maryland seafood and produce is meant to be enjoyed.
The view of the water and boats only enhances the atmosphere inside. Service is top notch and never leaves you wanting for anything better.
The collection of oyster plates is a treat to occupy your time should you have to wait to be seated. Along the ceiling of the dining room runs a Lionel scale model train with custom rail cars reflecting the local businesses.
Dessert is simple. If you are looking for local fare. You cannot go wrong with their 10 layer Smith Island cake.
Service was good but slow for our large party. Very loud once the room we were in was full. Food was great.
This review is for the bar area. Tried it for happy hour on a recent weekday. At 5 pm nearly all the tables were occupied, and by 6 the place was packed. We had great service, but the food unfortunately was a let down. We tried fish tacos, nachos with pulled prime rib (sounds great, right?), and mussels. All three dishes were mediocre at best. The Mahi fish tacos were served on the most flavorless cold flour tortilla I've ever tasted -- Wonder Bread in tortilla form. The fish might have been good but I'll never know because the pickled red onions and aoli were 90 percent of the serving. The nachos were doomed by bland chips, a miniscule toss of cheddar and bottled red salsa on the side. The mussels were tiny and one bad mussel in the batch tainted the broth with the smell of "dead mussel." this can happen in the finest restaurants, but when you're 0 for 3 I'm less forgiving and lean towards guessing the kitchen might be going through the motions. Anyhow, this was my only visit, I won't be back, but the place surely doesn't need my business as it is always packed and seems to have a loyal happy clientele.
We had a very good experience when we had dinner. The staff was very prompt and courteous. The food was good, not life changing but good. Was it over priced.... not for the location. I'm giving it a
Good food, large menu with lots to choose from. Stuffed Rockfish and cream of crab is some of our favorites. Great place for families and groups!
I'm from Alexandria, Virginia. The best seafood and service I've ever experienced. It's well worth the trip and the atmosphere is excellent.
Been here before. Food was great. $$$ not cheap for seafood. Had stuffed soft shells. Loaded qith crab imperial. Yummy. Will go again
So far my favorite seafood restaurant in Maryland. Food and service was excellent. Many choices on the menu.
Our hostess was on point, very accommodating. Great food, great drinks, even down to the bread basket; delicious!
Delicious!! Great crab cakes, fantail shrimp, and cream of crab soup. The service was excellent and the atmosphere peaceful.
The tricolor salad was so delicious and then I got the fried green tomato crab stack...a must have app if you come here.
Great seafood restaurant, particularly for larger parties. The Maryland crab soup is a standout, and the broiled crab cakes are exceptional. The decor is definitely reminiscent of the 70s, so it feels dated. But the service and food are very good.
Their crab cakes are delicious. I go here for them as often as I can.
Great food and service. They go the extra mile to assure a great time with food.
Good tasty food freshly prepared at fair prices. Good service too!
Decided to wait out the 50 West Bay Bridge traffic and stopped here. Pleasantly surprised with this place. Described as "no frills crab shack" in Google which is the complete opposite. Love the ceramic oyster plates collection and the train running throughout the place!
You can always bank on this place being a 5 star experience.
Attended for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Private room and waiters were fast and friendly.
Great food good prices along with great waitresses. A great place to take your spouse to. Had crabcakes with scallops and both were top notch. We will be going back.
Was good as always. So good to get out. Emily our waitress did a great job. Always friendly faces. Can't wait to go back. Alex and Kj Marvel.
Fifth time here and I am again impressed! Next time I m in Maryland I ll be back for visit number 6. P.S. get the Hot Crab Dip!
The atmosphere is good and the rice is good !! The flatfish was also delicious
We had our family Christmas lunch here. Food & service was excellent!! Planning on coming back next year.
We were here on Easter 2018
The food was excellent however our waitress was horrible.
1) We never got our salads that's included with your side's
2)Our appetizers were served without plates to eat it on.
3)Our lemonade was tapped off with water instead of lemonade.
4) Every time I would ask the waitress for anything she never came back with it.
I ended up asking the bartender....
The service is great and the cocoanut shrimp were very large and tasty. The prices were reasonablr
Love the appetizers and the New Years Eve drink is wonderfull. I had the steam pot oysters corn fritters with crab and we also had butternut squash soup with crab meat
Excellent atmosphere and top notch service. A little on the expensive side but worth it.
Oyster stew was outstanding. Service was terrific as always.
We always stop at Fisherman's on our way to Ocean City. Amazing deck with water view.
New tables outside seating 8. The steamed crabs are the best. (However, if you like a lot of seasoning be sure to ask for it.) This time we decided to get the crab melt and crab imperial. I don't know of any fine dining restaurant with better crab imperial and crab melts. You cannot beat crab dishes around the Chesapeake! Truly one of our favorite places!
Decent crab and fish restaurant in the area. Lots of seating space, a model train on the ceiling. Many choices on the menu, not too expensive but not cheap either. Good drinks though
Stuffed soft crabs were awesome as were the Gorgonzola skins. Great service as well.
The flounder, huge butterfly shrimp and crab cakes are really good. The 4 oz. crab cake is ALL lump crab meat and delicious but simply to pricey for the amount charged.
I go to this great restaurant many times a year! This is my favorite restaurant to dine. I visit this place routinely. The food is very good, the crew is helpful and the prices are fair. I like going in this restaurant to have a nice meal.
Great Seafood, interesting atmosphere, and good service
Ate at this restaurant ,and we believe it was possiblely the worse seafood platter we had.everything was overcooked but the scallops were not fully cooked.also ordered was a traditional imperial crab which has a crust coating on top,and not tasty.the other meal ordered was terrible too,not to mention the hard as a rock rolls.i would never go back there and never recommend this place.
