Very good food! Had the butternut squash crab bisque, which was very tasty. Queen Anne oysters were excellent!
Very good food! Had the butternut squash crab bisque, which was very tasty. Queen Anne oysters were excellent!
Excellent; had fried green tomatoes with lumps of crab meat, corn, nicely chopped ham and light, not salty, white cream sauce. Excellent service.
Oh my, the crab cakes are great. Their Mississippi mud pie was to die for. They do a great job.
Shout out to Meg who gave us great service in this cold, rainy night! Excellent dining experience! Food was hot, delicious, and orders correct (Fried flounder platters, coconut shrimp and salmon cake- YUM!!!!) We'll definitely bee back again!
Charming atmosphere. They have a train that runs overhead. Decor is nautical of course views of Kent Narrows. Service is very attentive. Very pleased with the food. Large selection of seafood.
The United Methodist Women had their Holiday celebration there and we all had a great time! There was even a female quartet there.
Atmosphere was nice. Decor was appealing. They got my mom's order wrong, but corrected it right away. The entrees were good and desserts were wonderful.
Incredible atmosphere. Friendly staff. The crabs weren't as meaty as we had hoped for and some were very salty tasting while the corn on the cobb from the buffet was a little bland. Overall, a nice dining experience but could use a little improvement.
As usual, great service and excellent meals had by all!
Very nice place. Been there since early 1930s in one form or another. Excellent wait staff. Good food selection and preparation. A friend who lived near it as a child took me there for fresh in season oysters. It was worth the bridge toll and trip. Will be returning with significant other for a nice sea food dinner.
The salmon with the fingerling potatoes and mixed vegetables was phenomenal. Bread was hard which was the only reason it didn't get 5 stars.
Wonderful food, great service. One of the best crab cakes I've ever had
Try to stop here when returning from the western shore. Love the seafood and soup. Good place for really good food.
Seed
Rebecca was a delight. Fast service after race great food.in an out 35 minutes. Fast food from Dover raceway never again. Go here..
This is a great place to spend time with friends. The food is super delicious. The drinks were the best. Try their Bloody Mary's. Awesomeness!
Good food, nice salad bar, great service, nice atmosphere. We went back that week with friends.
Great dinner with a great waitress, Emily. The environment was very clean and food was fresh and tasteful. We also had a window seat with a beautiful view. Thank you! :)
The food is always good, and the crab soups are delicious.
Really good food and atmosphere. The bar side is great too.
This is the second time we visited this year. It's a very attractive restaurant with very nice views. The model train running throughout the facility adds charm and I remember it from over 25 years ago. The facility is clean, staff friendly and the food never disappoints. We have always been impressed by the food selections, which are always changing. We will definitely be back.
Love this place great food great service couldn't be happier
The decor and ambiance were nice. The service was phenomenal. The food was just okay. I ordered the blackened ribeye steak and it was not blackened. It was seasoned to be blackened but the person cooking must not have understood the process for blackening.
Such a was Emily that I will continue to come hear forever
My family stated going to the Fisherman s Inn back in the 1980s. It was a place we enjoyed and are kids loved the food and service was goos. It was never a 4-star restaurant but it was pleasant. There have been changes over the years, a fire and we did not go there for a long time. Since my kids moved over to KI we decided to go back hoping the restaurant as we remembered was still there. We were disappointed the food was poor and the servicer was terrible. So, we decided not to go back again. Yesterday I was there because our organization decided to have our group lunch there. Well, all I can say is it was terrible. I ordered a soft-shell crab for my lunch. Awful when I received my soft-shell crab platter I was flabbergasted because the crab was so small I m sure it was not a legal catch. It was overcooked and shriveled. My fries were left a lot to be desired. Another friend ordered the dame dish and gasped where s the crab?? I would not recommend this restaurant there are many seafood restaurants on the Eastern Shore far better. I am sure everything the serve is frozen ... what shame. I m sure the only reason they still exist is they get the tourist driving back and fourth on Rte. 50. I frankly think this restaurant is a shell of it s former self!
Crab Deck, great rum bucket! Atmosphere and Music always is fun!
Still great food. Some of the best crab cakes around.
Top of the line seafood... fresh... awesome drinks from prickly pear and other specialty juices and liqueurs. Great sides, feels like a yacht club atmosphere.
Great food, great service. One of my favorite stops when I come to Kent Island. Been missing the shrimp quesadilla for years since moving away....
I thought the food was way overpriced, and pretty regular nothing special about it. I did not enjoy it as much as I would have hoped. Our ticket for 2 people was $150.
Crabs were great and our waitress Kathy was even better.
Food is delicious Drinks are awesome!! Try the Dirty Mermaid....you only need one...
The food is great and the atmosphere is too; manages to be sort of upscale but comfortable, relaxed and reasonably priced. And to top it all there's a train on the roof!
A wonderful setting to spend quality time with our family. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was warm and inviting as well as the staff.
Great food and good service. Love the beautiful oyster plates collections and the decorations inside the restaurant.
another great meal. Rockfish bites with seaweed salad and ginger is always a winner. Caesar salad with seared tuna was a nice lunch item. Fried shrimp crispy and tender
Oh my goodness. They were packed it and I still got my food in a reasonable amount of time way to go. A little expensive for the porting sizes though.
Great Seafood, Prime Rib, and service on the water's edge.
Always consistent. Love the train above the tables and the view. Great food at reasonable prices. Good service.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. My girlfriend and I went there for a late lunch yesterday to celebrate her 30th birthday. As soon we walked in we felt unwelcome by the hostess at the front. She seemed disturbed by the presence of a well dressed biracial couple which gave us bad vibes from the beginning. Once we were seated, the waitress came over to take our drink orders and proceeded to ask for our photo I.Ds. I understand that it is a standard procedure to card individuals but it seemed as though that the waitress was being very selective about it and was skeptical of us being of age to consume alcohol. The waitress proceeded to check my girlfriend s I.D staring at it for 3 minutes and started to write down her license number. She didn t even wish her a happy birthday either. Lastly, the waitress checked my photo I.D and said that she couldn t accept my I.D because it had a slight crack in it at the top. Her excuse was she just completed a training on checking photo I.Ds and that they don t accept them if they have any sort of damage to them. She then took my I.D to talk with her manager and left for 5 minutes. Mind you, we are in the middle of a pandemic and it is difficult to get to a DMV to get replacement license. At that point we decided we had enough and weren t going to eat there after all. As we were leaving, I asked for my I.D back and my girlfriend told the waitress, It would ve been nice if you had wished me a happy birthday after staring at my I.D for 3 min . We have never felt so discriminated in an establishment in our lives. They treated us as if we were going to dine and dash which was highly unacceptable and prejudice. With the current climate of racial tension in this country, you would think that this establishment would be more welcoming and sensitive to treating everyone fairly. Needless to say, we will not be back and I would not recommend giving Fishermann s in your business.
Nice view, good food.
Interesting decoration in the form of a model train that runs rather loudly above the seating area
Great seafood dishes and drinks nestled in Kent Narrows. They have an awesome selection of traditional seafood entrees and Maryland classics (try the crab cakes, MD crab soup, and an orange crush). Offers decent views and a cool, comfortable atmosphere. Service staff was friendly and attentive. A great way to spend a hot summer evening!
Highly recommended, so we stopped. The fried scallops some of the best I have every had. The drinks at the bar were oversized and wonderful, however, the remaining food on the plate sub-standard, cafeteria style and cold.
Very tasty vegan pasta. Was unexpectedly tasty and very filling. Had great service for a busy Thanksgiving dinner but a very appropriate wait (less than 10 minutes), and an expansive menu with friendly quick service
Delicious entrees! The mussels appetizer was one of the best I've had. Friendly service and able to accommodate requests not on the menu.
A family favorite with amazing food and great service
The Ficherman's Inn is a very good seafood restaurant. The quality is very good, but unfortunately also very high priced.
My favorite when I am on the Island, Primo Crab Cakes are superior. Great classic atmosphere.
We come here every year for the great crabs and apps.
Excellent food and service for a fair price. Highly recommended
Convenient parking, great food, excellent service, good views but limited to where you are seated. Awesome desserts. Amazing crabcakes. Well worth the price.
This place is just great. Can't go wrong unless you miss the turn.
The food is really good, I like the nostalgia of the restaurant.
Great Maryland Seafood, Friendly staff, and that incredible oyster plate collection!
Favorite restaurant ever. Great crabmeat stuffing in shrimp and flounder. Great veggies and desserts.
Expensive my wife had beef stroganoff best she ever had
Waitress was excellent
Mine was sea bass very small
Piece for cost
Veggies were not hot. Food was good, service sluggish. Ate entire meal with tea glass empty.
We tried their special wine, current and clove, which was very good. Their oyster stew and raw oysters are very good and not very expensive. The restaurant is very nice inside, very quiet and with low light. Had nice decorations or old oyster plates and duck decoys.
We ate dinner here a few weeks ago. The food was good, not great. I like the ambiance and the waitress was attentive. The mango margarita was a goid size and tasty!
A wonderful selection of seafood. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced.
Exceptional service, excellent food in a relaxing atmosphere.
